It's sad but the "generic" doctor that looks at you for 10 minutes and prescribes you drugs is not the very best, otherwise he would've ended in an hospital doing the hard work. Lots of good doctors are always super pissed at these generic doctors because they prescribe drugs or exams without knowing much about the specific case and end up doing more damage than good, which the doctors in the hospital then have to work twice as much to fix
mate. hormonal treatments are not the same thing as some drug you get prescribed. you need an endocrinologist to check you to get testosterone, estrogen, etc.
