maybe a private charity
i recently saw an interesting thing about it, that it actually started with the war of 1812 with veterans getting pensions, iirc, and same with the civil war. but what ended up happening was that the eligibility for the pension kept increasing because the people that were just on the edge of the cutoff complained. so it kept expanding. that's what happens, it grows and grows.
I'm a cute ancap pony, now
there is a lady that is still getting a pension from like the civil war or something
Oo
her grandpa was like 80 and married a 20 year old, and then she got the pension when he died, and then her daughter got it after she died
i can link the thing if you are interested

"There have been sporadic attempts to promote global open borders as a viable policy option. [4] Open borders quickly became popular after 1889.[citation needed] The International Emigration Conference held in Rome in May 1924 stated that anybody has the right to immigrate to a different country if they wanted to.[citation needed] Before the 1880s, migration to the United States was not fully controlled. During World War I it became easier for people to migrate from their country of origin to foreign countries.[citation needed] During World War II, countries were looking for many new workers, and Germany issued a guest work program to attract more people to work.[citation needed] Later, in the 1970s to 1980s strict borders were reinstated in industrialized countries.[citation needed] Currently, immigration is more restricted and harder for low-skilled and low-income people to immigrate.[4]"

"Once theyโre here, theyโll never leave.
This brings us to a fascinating paradox: Open borders promote immigrantsโ return. Take the border between Mexico and the U.S. In the 1960s, 70 million Mexicans crossed it, but in time, 85% returned home. Since 9/11, the U.S. side of the border has been heavily militarized, which has discouraged immigrants from going back. โWe annually spend billions of taxpayer dollars on border enforcement that is worse than uselessโit is counterproductive,โ observes a sociology professor at Princeton University. โMigrants quite rationally responded to the increased costs and risks by minimizing the number of times they crossed the border.โ
Opening our borders is not something we can do overnight, of courseโnor should we. Unchecked migration would certainly corrode social cohesion. But we do need to remember one thing: In a world of insane inequality, migration is the most powerful tool around for fighting poverty."
sounds biased, but it does say some things that are worth examination, like the last paragraph i gave
Wrong
Freedom is the most powerful tool against poverty. Somthing most the countries they are leaving do not have.
^
since the states likes to intervene in everything, they should make more efforts to protect mexican politicans from getting gunned down 24/7 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kegTMJqGl5U
by cartels
i mean it seems like common sense to me
mexico is hurting the US with their instability
the drug war is bullshit
we know
destiny is proposing full out invasion cuz he's a retard
US can't fix its own continent
kinda like british empire
mexico = ireland
canada = scotland
US = england
the american south = wales
Except mexico is not and likely never will be part of the united states
And i do not see us annexing a section of canada anytime soon.
Cuba = Wales
We should annex them both
england didn't annex scotland
it was a personal union
britain is a unitary govt
We need to Annex Scotland and Britian as well
wtf is britian
Meh
you lose sir
Annex me, at least.
Alberta (my province) has been (normally, for like a century) 75%ish conservative.

Naw.
Probably less Christians here than in the US, to be honest.
Just behind UK in the percentage of Athiests I imagine.
depends on where in the US tho
i dont have any stats keep in mind
There are still more Religious in any state in the US than in the UK
well yeah i mean UK
yknow
@Maw I wouldn't mind another red state
you commie
yeah western canada should get annexed to US
people only think of ontario and quebec when they think of canada anyway
```New jackets, new patches, new everything. This is like the people the DNC sent during the campaign to start fights at Trump rallies. Unfortunately, they are wrong about us and dont know that we hate nazis just as much as they do. Try again```
