I’m glad that AMD caught up with the CPU line and because of budget is able to sell for cheaper and grow exponentially. It staying half a gen behind Nvidia is also beneficial to force forward progress on the Graphics side. Because of their resources, Intel and especially Nvidia will always be able to produce the overall flagship product, but AMD will continue to be competitive/better on pricing (competitive for GPU’s (ish) and better for mid-high range high core count CPU’s) Even if AMD goes to 7nm architecture in their next series, Intel will switch over and refine the architecture and process at least as quick. It seems like Intel purposefully lags behind though because they previously thought that they didn’t meet as much competition as they really did. Because of that, they underestimated AMD and underproduced. That’s at least my speculation.

yea they really did. it has over 30hrs worth of storyline now and actually good playable content. doesnt mean it still doesnt have a few little bugs cause it does. but its getting weekly updates and now has community events where players can unlock special content. graphics got a complete overhaul and basically everything you see is worth a screenshot. @Landsknecht 🎮🍚🔺

well i think upgrading to AMD Zen (Pinnacle ridge) 2600X would be a good idea
But it would require a new motherboard and RAM obviously

tremendous upgrade, worth it imo

and next year you could upgrade to Zen 2 manufactured on 7nm, without buying a new motherboard

the GPU could use a replacement as well tho

I think upgrading to RX 580/570 or GTX 1060/1050ti first would be a good idea
then upgrade straight to Zen 2 (3000 series) CPU next year

and is fitted on an FP4 socket using BGA, so its not user replacable and you already have the best chip availible on that platform anyway

@Polygon fix your scanner first, then use C to use it, then look for the yellow indicators

also be sure to upgrade your scanner with 3 modules so when you scan animals/plants you get 150k-350k units per each scan its a quick money maker

Be sure to go to the uncharted red/blue/green/purple systems, they are where the really weird stuff is but they dont have space stations or have them but they are abandoned or destroyed and you can also potentially get stuck in these systems if you run out of warp cores.

To me, this is at least a $500 gaming experience.
