i bought another computer just to play ARK on since the one im using now is running ARK servers. it arrives today. super excited. never received anything this big on halloween before!

ordered it on the 26th thru amazon. had some good deals so i had to buy.

tbh, you could always go the route of building a system like mine, roughly $1700, but you could easily go cheaper

The first computer that I ever built has been based on AM3. Starting tomorrow, I begin a year worth of savings so I can build an AM4 computer.

I built it in 2014. And frankly, it was a nice upgrade when I got it, just like the prebuilts and the laptop before it.

Unlike those computers, this one is still halfway decent. I have to turn down the settings on my high-end games, but it's half decent.

I've built plenty of computers, honestly not that many amd systems, only two in my living. I work specifically with asrock and ASUS boards. My first amd system was in 2015, and it had an 8320 in it, second system was a Ryzen 1600. The 1600 was easy to work through, easy overclocking, just plain good. But I work mostly with xeons and HEDT stuff, so.

idk man i'll probably just keep it for now. i need something to play ARK on the servers with indepent of the server machine - its just a temporary machine. im planning on buying a super machine in a year or so with an intel. the server machine is an i7 4.2 ghz - and i do all of my business computing on my alienware ripley labtop but ARK is muh obsession desu
