I know with my i12's I have to take them out of the case a good 20 secs apart

2019-10-22 01:13:03 UTC

Or else they don't sync up

2019-10-22 01:15:47 UTC

yeah i probably turned them off wrong and they reconnected as two sets

2019-10-22 01:17:11 UTC

all good now

2019-10-22 05:08:49 UTC

@meh get the mh750

2019-10-22 05:13:44 UTC

clean your ear tips

2019-10-22 05:13:51 UTC

use smaller ear tips

2019-10-22 15:06:36 UTC

My Fiio mmcx cable for my t2 s broke on the right so Iโ€™m gonna throw it in the freezer and see what happens. Was already a replacement and Iโ€™m getting sick of having to replace stuff for it

2019-10-22 17:27:52 UTC

get qcy t2

2019-10-22 17:28:03 UTC

can't break a cable if there is no cable

๐Ÿ‘Œ <:alismirk:230784726615588865>

2019-10-23 00:51:39 UTC

I have used it with my t2 for about 6 months now. Sleep with my earbuds on and the cable still works fine.

2019-10-23 00:58:32 UTC

@Aqualiteking thank you for the recommendation but I donโ€™t like over ear fit of those. Gonna get straight down ones next time if I canโ€™t fix the cable myself

2019-10-23 02:08:07 UTC

My soundmagic PL11's cables are falling apart, i think i should buy a new iem. Whats nice

2019-10-23 09:26:14 UTC

my ears hurt so much, and only the hours I dont have them on

2019-10-23 09:42:31 UTC

@meh iems?

2019-10-23 09:42:45 UTC

ye buddy

2019-10-23 09:43:41 UTC

The skin in your ear canals has been iritated

2019-10-23 09:44:18 UTC

and having a seal in your ears disrupts earwax production.

2019-10-23 09:44:42 UTC

wear headphones for a while.

2019-10-23 09:59:28 UTC

have an imprint on my skull side because of headphones

2019-10-23 10:00:10 UTC

its a common office disease

2019-10-23 10:18:52 UTC

lmao what.

2019-10-23 10:19:14 UTC

use headphones with less clamping force.

2019-10-23 11:47:31 UTC

Wtf thats a thing? Headphones imprints?

2019-10-23 18:06:29 UTC

only if you have a fat head

2019-10-23 18:06:58 UTC

its only on the fat

2019-10-23 18:07:11 UTC

basically meh needs to lose weight

2019-10-23 18:07:30 UTC

so incredibly obese his body has to store fat on top

2019-10-23 18:30:18 UTC

just out of curiosity what kind of tips are you guys using with your t2

2019-10-23 19:34:55 UTC

its called Lipodystrophy, the fat is gone on one point because of pressure, often on legs because of shitty chairs

2019-10-23 19:35:26 UTC

and yes the clamps are broken and they charge 16 euros for a piece of plastic

2019-10-24 01:41:04 UTC

@meh try widening your headphones to reduce the clamping pressure.

2019-10-24 01:41:55 UTC

stretch them over something heat reistant, and apply heat with a hair dryer over the band.

2019-10-24 17:20:01 UTC

2019-10-24 17:37:39 UTC

@Aqualiteking it broke and I put a piece of paper in it which makes it pressure on me skull. No other solution right now. If I take paper away can't wear it

2019-10-24 22:04:57 UTC

you could 3d print one

2019-10-24 22:27:11 UTC

nice idea but I would make them slimmer on the head side. but right now I dont dare anymore to put them on because of the dent of my fat tissue

2019-10-24 22:41:48 UTC

You can edit the model in any CAD software.

2019-10-24 22:41:58 UTC

just convert the stl first

2019-10-24 22:42:23 UTC

and if you don't have a 3d printer, you have get them printed at https://www.treatstock.com

2019-10-24 22:43:26 UTC

The cheapest quote for me is $8.2 USD (Inc Shipping)

2019-10-25 00:02:43 UTC

2019-10-25 00:22:52 UTC

2019-10-25 05:58:46 UTC

3d modelling is so easy

2019-10-25 05:59:20 UTC

just torrent the latest version of solidworks

2019-10-25 06:00:14 UTC

it has built in tutorials that teach you how to use it. dummy proof

2019-10-25 06:01:05 UTC

All you need to do is extrusion cut the back of the slider bit thinner.

2019-10-26 14:30:40 UTC

2019-10-27 20:56:38 UTC

they alright

2019-10-27 20:56:54 UTC

they really do sound like the nicer version of samson sr850 or w/e

2019-10-27 22:11:11 UTC

dear buy tin t3

2019-10-27 22:56:36 UTC

i have t2 and they're pretty nice

2019-10-27 22:56:45 UTC

i think i still like the big bass of qt2 and similar

2019-10-27 23:13:16 UTC

T2 and fiio btr3 is fine dear, and can have other cans or buds attached.

2019-10-27 23:13:25 UTC

Tell me I'm wrong.

2019-10-28 10:59:29 UTC

@miker shp9500 vs x2hr?

2019-10-28 11:33:08 UTC
2019-10-28 17:13:59 UTC

don't own shp9500 @Aqualiteking
they're clearly nicer versions of Samson sr850 but idk where the shp9500 falls in between
I'm betting 9500 bass will be nonexistent and maybe worse comfort
the x2hr pads are a bit stiff compared to eg. beats or Sony wh1000xm3 but also way bigger so it's not much of an issue

2019-10-28 17:15:26 UTC

x2hr has very impressive bass for a velour + openback but qt2 still has far more bass, so does t2 with tips pushed over vents tbh

2019-10-28 17:17:11 UTC

on the other hand x2hr is the first thing I've had that makes 128kbps mp3 blatantly obvious, like I can ab test with $7 monoprice earbuds but Spotify is listenable with most of my chi fi

2019-10-28 17:17:20 UTC

not with x2hr

2019-10-28 18:44:01 UTC

@Aqualiteking nice, I've got that one on CD somewhere

2019-10-28 22:00:21 UTC

any solid sub 50โ‚ฌ headphones that is not based on GAMERS with microphone

2019-10-28 22:02:20 UTC

2019-10-28 22:03:26 UTC

the gamer edition of the takstar pro 82, the hyper x cloud series

2019-10-28 22:04:07 UTC

which hyperx are 80 and which 82? are hyperx cloud ii = 82?

2019-10-28 22:04:35 UTC

cloud 2 is 80

2019-10-28 22:05:56 UTC

cloudX or cloud 1 is supposedly the same thing but with more accessories or something like that

2019-10-28 22:07:15 UTC

You can just buy a cable with a microphone in it to convert any heaphones with a jack.

2019-10-28 22:21:16 UTC

@miker I dunno. Usually I can hear the difference between 128 and 320kps if the track was compressed poorly.

2019-10-28 22:21:25 UTC

Can you tell the difference in quality between these two files?

2019-10-28 22:27:15 UTC

the way you worded it seems like you did want microphone

sorry, i meant to say i dont want something that looks like its made for gamers

2019-10-28 22:30:01 UTC

just overall solid sound quality with no nigger bass

2019-10-28 22:55:28 UTC

yes, one of the filesizes is 3x larger than the other :/

2019-10-28 23:01:03 UTC

the repeating bassline that goes like
BOOOM. bwapp. 1-2-3-4
the 1,3 and 2,4 are much more distinctly different sounds in the 320kbps one and actually sound like real ?snare? drums

from listening on revonext rn-qt2 relatively high volume in a subway lmao
will update with x2hr results

2019-10-28 23:02:43 UTC

note that I know very little about music / music theory

2019-10-29 04:28:11 UTC

on x2hr - yeah I don't know the song well enough to hear much of a difference

2019-10-29 07:45:15 UTC

@miker up to about 256K AAC or 320K MP3 is considered transparent range

2019-10-29 07:45:21 UTC

well

noticeably transparent

2019-10-29 19:47:32 UTC

there isnt much high end on the 320 anyways

2019-10-29 20:13:24 UTC

just get flacs

2019-10-29 20:13:46 UTC

if you want, or get 320 kbps if you cant find flacs

2019-10-30 01:01:30 UTC

What software is that @eggy

2019-10-30 01:07:01 UTC

That is super interesting, there is more high end freq in the 320mp3 file. I can barely make this out at the beginning of the song, but can't tell the difference for the rest of it

2019-10-30 01:10:51 UTC

@miker I don't want to spend money of a new set of headphones to find out there is an indistinguishable difference between the 9500's and x2hr. So thanks for taking the time to tests those two songs.

2019-10-30 02:53:49 UTC
2019-10-30 02:55:10 UTC

the song doesnt have much high end besides the snare, voice kinda, and the trumpet synth, so it wouldnt be that noticible

2019-10-30 02:55:47 UTC

but you can deff tell at the trumpet part

2019-10-30 05:37:52 UTC

I can barely make out some difference in quality. Insane that your ears can pick that up.

I can pick out the da da da peak things

2019-10-30 10:12:53 UTC

as being not so distinct on the lower kpbs

2019-10-30 10:13:02 UTC

Taking the plastic cover off my trn cable

2019-11-01 01:09:13 UTC

I hate wrapping it over my ears without the plastic the cord goes straight

2019-11-01 09:28:26 UTC

yeah, because that plastic has a metal wire in it that keeps the cable coiled

2019-11-01 10:32:13 UTC

lol no it's not that advanced

2019-11-01 10:33:01 UTC

its just plastic/rubber bent with heat

2019-11-01 10:33:13 UTC

no metal wire

2019-11-02 07:20:06 UTC

I started with a gym and I'd like some in-ear headphones that are wireless, cause my wired ones keeps pulling themselfs out or stucking on machines

2019-11-02 14:39:42 UTC

it can get really uncomfortable, but it might just be my defective ear canals

2019-11-04 21:09:49 UTC

are there any amps for phones

2019-11-04 21:09:55 UTC

that you can power with 18650 cells

2019-11-04 21:10:02 UTC

I don't wanna deal with shitty inbuilt batteries

2019-11-04 21:10:20 UTC

just a nice reasonable portable setup that i can use with my phone

2019-11-04 21:11:31 UTC

have we settled on optimal eartips for t2s
and best way to cover the vent (or not)

2019-11-04 21:13:27 UTC

2019-11-04 21:14:53 UTC

what the fuck is that

2019-11-04 21:15:05 UTC

2019-11-04 21:19:46 UTC

what about eartips tho
i just cover the vent by pushing the eartip over i

2019-11-04 21:21:17 UTC

guys?

2019-11-04 21:48:38 UTC

just use a dongle

2019-11-05 00:34:20 UTC

what kind

2019-11-05 00:34:31 UTC

I was thinking of maybe getting that planar from tin hifi in the future

2019-11-05 00:34:42 UTC

and they say you need an amp to really hear all the sound range

2019-11-05 00:35:04 UTC

I was thinking of a small power bank like device i could carry in my pocket with my phone

2019-11-05 00:35:10 UTC

or should i just get a dedicated music player

2019-11-05 01:10:09 UTC

I don't think there's any portable amp that has a removable battery

2019-11-05 01:10:21 UTC

Let alone one that takes 18650s
