Better bang for buck and great earpads
saw them in the stickied msg, i'll look them up, ty
can't find any proper review on head-fi, tho
i wonder if they're just a shilled meme
They're not
Plenty people here have them and can confirm
what bout the takstar pro82 or their derivatives, the cooler master mh751/mh752?
the former are pinned, but i can't find much info about the latter despite their better availability where i live
They're essentially the same
Idk about mh752
Also consider ksc75 or Porta Pro, I have Porta Pro and would rec you get ksc75 instead
The 752 just gives you a 7.1 USB adapter for ultimate gayming
The 751s do have some physical changes like larger cups that change the sound a bit but they're largely similar to the pro82
Also the 751 gets rid of the bass slider if you wanted that
At least in the US the 751 is usually cheaper so it's a better deal
got my mh752, gud purchase
mic is mediocre but audio quality is ๐
7.1 is a cool gimmick too
i got those xiaom airdots (lite? young? whatever the name is), what tips would be suggested?
i heard memory foam is nice but not sure i can just shove whatever on the airdot
Personally I've never liked foam tips
Silicone is way more comfortable to me
Try and get a variety set of tips to see what you prefer. Double flange tips are nice too
I wouldnt advise on using double flanges with those things since theyre likely to make them stick out more
foam tips are nice, but deteriorate a lot faster than silicone ones
Does it matter where I get Takstar Pro 82's from (Amazon, eBay, or AliExpress)?
I was taking a look at some takstar pro 82 rebrands
and there are even headset versions of it
Anyone know of good wireless earbuds?
I lost my fucking t2s and now I need something for the gym that doesn't sound like earfucks
another pair of t2
A pair of KZs that cost the same fit better and sound the same
t2s and trn bt20
Qcy qs2
@Wheeshnaw kz wats
my fuckin porta pros died right after i put yaxi pads on them
$9+shipping to repair them or $15 for ksc75 <:blobthinkingfast:427569198886027264> k
get the Koss KPH30i
oh fuck they skyrocketed in price
wtf
i was looking at KPH30i like a month ago
werent they like $20
oh thy are 30US
but 70CAD????
i think ill do ksc75 + yaxi + porta pro headband or parts express headband depending on how they fit
parts express headband has too much play
i wish i knew how i broke em
probably a wire wriggled loose
no i think i damaged the driver itself
one side has notably less bass
and turning up the bass with an eq makes it crackle
im a whore for bass though so im wondering if i can just eq that shit back to pp levels
oh nevermind it looks like the KPH30i is at its normal price
i think amazon is having some strange issues displaying koss products
i hate the all the taxes we get on importing stuff
<:chinese_think:323022148870602752>
y tho
mid fi prison
i'd take those kph30s's to the gym if they were 30$
audio is a trip
i purchased $15 headphones to replace my $30 headphones that i just spent $15 for better earpads and in the meantime im using my $120 in-ear earphones
i suppose that means i can never escape being lo-fi
@Windatica have u considered just buying whr1000x mk 3 and being happy
I need open backs
Also happiness is cheap
I liked my porta pros but I had to change the pads
Not a fan of porta pro pads either
The thin foam doesnโt round the sharp plastic housing behind it
Does the comfort slider on the porta pros actually do anything?
I've never noticed a difference on any of the settings
yes
it kinda changes both the clamping force and angle of the drivers
To my UK audiofools, ATH-M40X is ยฃ5 cheaper than it usually is right now (ยฃ69 , usually ยฃ74) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Audio-Technica-ATH-M40X-Professional-Headphones-Black/dp/B00HVLUR54/
finally bought a pair
grew a pair too ( อกยฐ อส อกยฐ)
well now they back to ยฃ73 , GG
What cheap and good headphones go well with the vmoda boompro
(dont say shp9500 I can't buy them here)
Replacement pads for my 700x came in
Old vs new
pretty happy they gave my headphones that "new" feeling
That new feeling that we all once had with our headphones
@bap another headphone that goes well with a boompro is the OneOdio Studio Pro
shp9500 sux
and is probably forever overpriced thanks to * reviews
no it doesn't suck
and it's not expensive on ali
@basker is that hash?
@bap you can get the SHP9500's off Aliexpress now.
@androidcrawler no?
thanks
at first I thought theyd be fake but apprently not
i didnt know Creative was still around
I don't get why people buy wireless earbuds the battery is empty fast compared to wireless headphones and you can easily lose them
because they dont have any wires
did that answer your question?
well wireless headphones also don't have wires
yeah but they're big
they live longer and you don;t lose them that easily
and even if the battery runs out some headphones you can just hook up a cable and you don't have to charge them right away
Comparing apples to nazi oranges here
Easier with earbuds at gym
Chinked
1st day with them
pretty happy for 10$
@basker razer keyboard?
yeah BW ultimate 2013
nice
pretty old
I had the same
2014
wasd keys were getting pretty loose
so I got a new keyboard
I'll be getting my chink headphones soon
oneodio studio pro
this keyboard has held pretty well
no real issues except its not supported by the new razer software
so i cant use the macros
yeah
older razer keyboards are good
I've gone for cherry mx blacks this time
because I don't want to keep my flatmate awake with loud blues
Quick question; you talked about the WASD getting loose. Why not solder in new switches if it was still working well?
I'm a lazy bastard
also rgb
switch to <#531212403858472967>
before a faggot arrives
๐
My takstar pro 82 arrived
someone said that it would be an upgrade from the m50x
dont think so, mid and highs are less clear on the takstar pro 82
bass by itself is better tho
but it doesnt feel as good as the m50x
still a great headphone for the price
really good, really comfy
deffinitely one of the best picks up to $200
I've compared to some other headphones
T2 > m50x > takstar pro 82 > akg k240
are these any good?
yes qcy is gud
$10 markup just for buying it on amazon
๐ค
difference between t1 and t2?
everythign
t2 is too good
also, t2 vs t3 what is the consensus?
I've heard that t2 pro sucks
yea
more bass heavy or something
its a sidegrade more than anything
t3 are an upgrade but currently not worth the price performance ratio of the t2
any other good wireless in ears?
campfire solaris using chink knockoff drivers <:thonk:288060975775612929>
id love to open those and see identical to anyone else driver and stuff there
and people just paying out of their ass for the brand and idioticy
This kinda shit is why western companies are either dropping prices or dying
Looks like my V-Modas are kicking the bucket, and I'm about done with buying $350 headphones from them the moment my previous pair goes out of their "great" warranty. Yall got recs on higher-end over-ear headphones? I need them to be compatible with a 3.5mm cable.
Also: strongly prefer closed-back
pro82
What's the sound profile on those?
nvm they have a graph on the product page
Anything better than that though? I don't care about budget, really.
Do all 2-pin iem connectors suck or have I just had bad luck?
KZ ZS5/CCA C10, found the connectors really loose on both
Lost a ZS5 unit when I was running, C10 came off and fell down stairs
Just want to know if it's a kz thing, if I got a different brand would they be more secure? Or should I go for MMCX?
uh
do you have a tendency to plug/unplug them often
i think it might just be a kz thing because mmcx connectors vary in tightness
the t2 have notoriously tight mmcx connections
2 pin > mmcx in my experience
My Peacock P1 are 2-pin and that connector works flawlessly. My little sisters had some KZ earphones and their connectors worked fine as well
You shouldn't be unplugging them very often regardless of connector type
no, I don't really unplug them, just set them up when I first get them and then whenever they fall out
should go for fixed cable or tws as I have become shiva, destroyer of headphones
Fixed cable is an easy way to lose the entire pair of headphones if your cable goes bad
Learned that the hard way with RHA t20
what the hell are you guys doing with your headphones to run into so many cable issues? i don't treat my t2's all that nicely, but i still haven't ran into any cable issues, yet every thread on reddit/4chan etc complain about cable breaking, or connection being bad.
If you're out and about during the day but using wired headphones, the cable is likely to take damage from numerous sources as time goes on.
Ja jaaan
My tin p1s finally arrived
Only took 3 months
Fucking massdrop
neat case
Is it even possible for them to sound clearer than my pc37x's
high end headphones in earphone form??
gotta say, it's at least worth the wait
Aw shit, here we go again
@Wheeshnaw are they worth it?
I'll let you know in a month
Any decent chifi wireless NC headphones or should I not bother going cheap on that?
Alternatively, and I realize this is a weird question, but are there any wireless earbuds that don't have tips e.g. they're shaped like ve monks or yincrow x6s or airpods or something? I have a really bad problem with getting tips stick in my ears, even with decent pairs (yes I clean my ears)
@doji give me a sec
budget ANC
as for TWS earbuds? no clue
Thanks very much for the link
I am considering the edifier w830bt
are there any good chink desktop speakers out there?
$100 tops
there was some decent models cant remember the brand name form top of my head
@Windatica might remember when ever he is online
the only good chink desktop speaker is the edifer 1280db , R1010BT
edifers it was
thanks
R1010BT can go for like $50 with coupons
and the 1280db goes for $100 on refurb according to someone from the headphone discord
actually that might ave been referring to a single unit
also
๐
F
can't buy until I get paid at the end of the month
> he doesn't have a couple of paychecks saved in case of emergencies
I do have some paycheques* saved up
unfortunately new speakers don't constitute as an emergency
@Windatica 1280db are $100 new lol
the only difference between the T and DB is bluetooth/digital input, right?
yes
thanks
db version has them both, of course
yeah
I'll go for thee T
don't need/want bluetooth
my qcy finally arrives
I really like them and have been using them all day
well memed my good sirs
well memed
which ones
QCY T2
The funny thing is someone is selling them here for 55$
no one is selling any locally
time to flip loadsamone? ๐ค
@foxhunt Im guessing you did the research, what is the difference between t2s and t2c?
They are even discounted from 70$
No idea
Has the tin t2 been beaten yet
Probably not at the $30 it goes for now
I'd say yes, by multiple companies, at $50
