2018-08-29 19:55:02 UTC

save for something that isnt junk

2018-08-29 19:55:18 UTC

15 drivers sound like something you would read on a description page on a meme headset

tenore looks like something you should get free with your chink phone

2018-08-29 19:55:48 UTC

nah

2018-08-29 19:55:50 UTC

theyre legit good

2018-08-29 19:55:55 UTC

I still don't get why the notch of in ears are moar drivers

they are also legit expensive here.

2018-08-29 19:56:02 UTC

i still use mine despite having so much more better shit

2018-08-29 19:56:41 UTC

Still no decent chifi pleasing Bluetooth in ears sighh

2018-08-29 19:56:52 UTC

get a bt mmcx cable

2018-08-29 19:56:54 UTC

the end

my friend does want chink "no cable at all" earphones

2018-08-29 19:57:06 UTC

No cable

2018-08-29 19:57:30 UTC

Rtings gave the Gear icon x a rather mediocre rating for audio

i guess he means something like this

2018-08-29 19:58:18 UTC

๐Ÿคข

I told him it will be shit

but he does love the idea of no cable

2018-08-29 19:58:39 UTC

its called "truly wireless" I think

2018-08-29 19:58:49 UTC

Do airpods even work on non apple devices

2018-08-29 19:59:45 UTC

I only now they have this (absolute) closed source mess of a w1 chip

2018-08-29 20:00:37 UTC

why would anyone buy airpods for a non apple device when there are better alternatives for the same price

2018-08-29 20:00:53 UTC

name a better alternative then

2018-08-29 20:01:51 UTC

a quick google search tells me that the airpods are $159

2018-08-29 20:01:55 UTC

Gear icon X

2018-08-29 20:02:01 UTC

Samshit <:alismirk:230784726615588865>

2018-08-29 20:02:04 UTC

I am sure there is something better for that price

2018-08-29 20:02:17 UTC

there always is

2018-08-29 20:02:35 UTC

when it comes to apple you don't ppay for quality you pay for the brand

2018-08-29 20:03:43 UTC

Airpods are hifi

There is not higher quality than apple,they made everything good including gnu linux

theyr target is and always will be perfection

2018-08-29 20:08:30 UTC

this really

2018-08-29 20:08:43 UTC

but for real airpods look fucking retarded

2018-08-29 20:10:03 UTC

soypods

2018-08-29 20:22:25 UTC

Come on that is not a nice thing to say

2018-08-29 20:23:00 UTC

You should say instead airpods go well with the style of the average apple user

Or pull out J.Peterson card and call the style "Profound"

and ask what do you mean by airpods

2018-08-29 20:41:35 UTC

>not listening to JBP wave with booming mids and spicy highs of monks

2018-08-29 20:44:58 UTC

The jbp wave videos are so ridiculous, I actually enjoy them

lowfi beats with masturbatory feel good advice? Why not

2018-08-29 20:47:22 UTC

>clean up your room

2018-08-29 20:53:26 UTC

2018-08-29 20:59:16 UTC

@Arcbat thats an amplifier right?

2018-08-29 21:01:24 UTC

Yep

2018-08-29 21:02:31 UTC

no that's the worlds best CD player

2018-08-29 21:02:37 UTC

PlayStations make good CD players.

2018-08-29 21:02:49 UTC

kek the ps1

2018-08-29 21:03:02 UTC

i should see if my old one is the right model

2018-08-29 21:03:08 UTC

would be an interesting cdt

2018-08-29 21:03:15 UTC

Memes aside, they really did have the best audio processor available from Sony at the time

2018-08-29 21:03:51 UTC

As long as itโ€™s the RCA 1001 model.

2018-08-29 21:05:32 UTC

just rip all ur cds like all the cool audiophiles do today

2018-08-29 21:07:48 UTC

But then Iโ€™d have to buy a DAC better than the other one I have >.>

2018-08-29 21:08:10 UTC

And I wouldnโ€™t have a 20 year old PlayStation as part of my hifi rig

2018-08-29 21:12:35 UTC

@bentech I rip mine in .WMA

2018-08-29 21:12:57 UTC

nice

2018-08-29 22:07:54 UTC

I haven't ripped a CD in 5+ years <:turt:443131018950606878>

2018-08-29 22:22:43 UTC

I rip mine in FLAC, but that's because I'm too lazy to get LAME for EAC.

2018-08-29 22:22:57 UTC

Not sure why my EAC didn't come with LAME but

2018-08-29 22:22:59 UTC

2018-08-29 22:44:59 UTC

Update: got the bose qc 35 since someone was selling them cheap because they lacked pads and 3rd world reseller issues, got some replacement ones from a friend and they do provide enough noise reduction to make these noisy days doable. I paid like 160 usd total. I compared these one from my friend's originals and they seem original. (short version: due to my city's administration the buses and trucks how transit next to my place, making a not of noise. Asked for advice about NC)

2018-08-29 22:46:23 UTC

Also, I'm considering those T2, 24-25 usd is too tempting for me...

2018-08-29 22:49:48 UTC

do it faggot

2018-08-29 22:50:58 UTC

i normally perfer my etys to bose

How much do you think I could resell the tin t2 cable for?

2018-08-29 22:53:02 UTC

why would you do that

I have two,if it was reply to me.

2018-08-29 22:54:24 UTC

Depends, basically check a similar cable and add like 2-5 bucks for a fair price, or go to Amazon/eBay and subtract that amount.

2018-08-29 22:54:47 UTC

Since they usually sell that stuff overpriced

can you remind me how is it called, mtx cable?

2018-08-29 22:56:29 UTC

mmcx

2018-08-29 22:56:32 UTC

id just keep it as a spare

2018-08-29 22:57:40 UTC

^

2018-08-29 22:58:02 UTC

if youre gonna be using the t2 actively, chances are the cable will give out sooner or later

I just did not want to clean the cum stain from it. But it does make sense,time to clean it up.

2018-08-29 22:58:36 UTC

Yep, I recommend having a backup cable just in case, even if it's a cheap $8 KINDEN one

2018-08-29 22:58:41 UTC

uh

2018-08-29 22:58:42 UTC

.

2018-08-29 22:58:46 UTC

Yuwhat

2018-08-29 22:58:56 UTC

wait

2018-08-29 22:59:16 UTC

**cheap** *$8* cable

2018-08-29 22:59:21 UTC

that isnt cheap

2018-08-29 22:59:26 UTC

Okay $3

2018-08-29 22:59:32 UTC

there's MMCX cables like that

2018-08-29 22:59:38 UTC

$8 is cheap for a cable

2018-08-29 22:59:55 UTC

spoiled cunts

funny somehow it does find only wifi cables when i type mmcx

2018-08-29 23:00:26 UTC

i dropped $30 on my ety cable which was cheap as fuck

2018-08-29 23:00:31 UTC

mmcx is a type of coaxial connector

2018-08-29 23:00:38 UTC

its used for antennas

that makes sense

2018-08-29 23:01:04 UTC

Yep, fairly certain that same connector is used on modems, wireless cards, and 3G/4G cards.

2018-08-29 23:01:09 UTC

It is, but since there are $2 dollar cables (even if they are DIY), some people might say $8 is kit cheap enough

2018-08-29 23:01:25 UTC

we're talking mmcx cables

2018-08-29 23:01:29 UTC

not just any cable

2018-08-29 23:01:41 UTC

if it was a 3.5 male to male it'd be a different story

2018-08-29 23:01:52 UTC

I dropped close to $20 on an 8-core 0.78mm bi-pin cable. But..the thing about MMCX is that it has to be strong.

2018-08-29 23:01:58 UTC

I'm talking the solder job.

2018-08-29 23:02:04 UTC

mmcx is junk

2018-08-29 23:02:30 UTC

I prefer bi-pin rather than MMCX.

2018-08-29 23:02:41 UTC

But you know, T2's are good so I'll deal with it

2018-08-29 23:02:43 UTC

2 pin is far better

2018-08-29 23:02:55 UTC

mmcx is such a shit connector for iems

2018-08-29 23:02:55 UTC

bi-pin is much more durable.

2018-08-29 23:03:18 UTC

its fine for antennas since it needs to be rotated and doesnt have a lot of repeated movement

2018-08-29 23:03:25 UTC

but the way it locks is so shit for iems

2018-08-29 23:03:28 UTC

I also prefer 2 pin, it's more reliable and durable

2018-08-29 23:03:37 UTC

i wish jh's screw in 4 pin wasnt proprietary

2018-08-29 23:03:42 UTC

its a legit great iem connector

2018-08-29 23:03:55 UTC

I've nearly dislocated my finger trying to yank out an MMCX connector on my Senfer PT15's

2018-08-29 23:04:02 UTC

Those things are stupid strong.

2018-08-29 23:04:15 UTC

its a shit mechanism

2018-08-29 23:04:20 UTC

what do u expect

2018-08-29 23:04:20 UTC

I think 2 pin is better but honestly its an artisan connector at this point

2018-08-29 23:04:55 UTC

It's much more durable, not to mention you won't have the constant movement issues associated with MMCX.

2018-08-29 23:05:09 UTC

I haven't had an MMCX cable break on me, except for a couple small antenna cables

2018-08-29 23:05:39 UTC

0.78/0.75mm bi-pin is far more durable.

2018-08-29 23:05:41 UTC

Change my mind.

2018-08-29 23:07:04 UTC

mmxc looks cooler

2018-08-29 23:07:08 UTC

๐Ÿ˜Ž

this got too heated guys,calm down. Kz will maybe one day have 6pin for 40 driver tho :^)

2018-08-29 23:07:58 UTC

would like to see it, then our eardrums would have 20 pin sized holes each <:alismirk:230784726615588865>

2018-08-29 23:08:31 UTC

why did mmcx become the standard connector type for chi-fi?

2018-08-29 23:08:32 UTC

why do all mmcx cables with mics on ebay use literally the one same mic/button module ๐Ÿค”

2018-08-29 23:08:53 UTC

mmcx >>>> 2 pin

Is it cheap and just works TM?

2018-08-29 23:09:08 UTC

i've always had 2 pi ncables fall out

2018-08-29 23:09:21 UTC

mmcx cables are a pain to get out

2018-08-29 23:09:28 UTC

๐Ÿค”

2018-08-29 23:09:33 UTC

especially when you dont have long nails

2018-08-29 23:09:39 UTC

wait wrong link

2018-08-29 23:09:48 UTC

Like I said, I've nearly dislocated a finger yanking one out

2018-08-29 23:10:00 UTC

MMCX is cancer.

2018-08-29 23:10:03 UTC

please stop abusing IEMs.

2018-08-29 23:12:45 UTC

>stop absuing chink shit

2018-08-29 23:12:46 UTC

NO

2018-08-29 23:19:50 UTC

2018-08-29 23:23:38 UTC

2018-08-29 23:23:43 UTC

Ultimate Ears In Ears with IPX

```
2018-08-29 23:25:59 UTC
whats so special about these
they look cool,is not it all that we need
2018-08-29 23:27:34 UTC
linum cables are insanely light and flexible
2018-08-29 23:27:40 UTC
like otherworldly
2018-08-29 23:28:14 UTC
$150+ kind of light?
2018-08-29 23:28:29 UTC
note the cable/connector is shit and breaks all the time,
2018-08-29 23:28:32 UTC
well the connector is
2018-08-29 23:28:37 UTC
i only have had expedrience with the t2 cables
2018-08-29 23:28:54 UTC
2018-08-30 07:02:20 UTC
I'll fix the dzats and bgvps later
2018-08-30 07:12:09 UTC
T2 are legitimately good meme
2018-08-30 07:36:16 UTC
@Droidbot bluedio T2?
2018-08-30 07:42:35 UTC
2018-08-30 07:47:24 UTC
tin audio t2
2018-08-30 07:47:33 UTC
I had a pair back ~6mo ago and lost them
2018-08-30 07:47:58 UTC
They're great little IEMs for day to day, might pick up a pair as a backup if my Bluetooth dies
2018-08-30 07:48:10 UTC
Happened today <:angery:423058200661590017>
2018-08-30 07:48:44 UTC
Didn't charge them since Monday, get out of home and listen for ~1h and get "Please recharge headset"
2018-08-30 07:49:14 UTC
Put them in the case and it blinks red 3 times, so the case is dead
2018-08-30 08:24:37 UTC
I have these cheap bluetooth adapters and they just start telling you battery is dead every 5-10 seconds
2018-08-30 08:24:42 UTC
its really annoying
2018-08-30 08:24:56 UTC
I would rather the battery completely died
2018-08-30 08:38:13 UTC
I mean
2018-08-30 08:38:22 UTC
idk if it's just me but the QT2s aren't that bad now
2018-08-30 09:27:05 UTC
QT2 are pretty good have them myself
2018-08-30 10:12:51 UTC
im tempted to get another pair of cheap etys
2018-08-30 10:13:03 UTC
```I've noticed a trend recently... Why are so many IEM's being released with too sharp highs or aggressive midranges? Do people actually enjoy those type of sounds or are there so many folks who are already experiencing hearing problems?

I'm on a trip to find a good, neutral or warm sounding sub-20$-ish IEM and just can't find anything...
```
2018-08-30 10:13:03 UTC
loll
2018-08-30 10:16:13 UTC
2018-08-30 10:17:02 UTC
you know you want to start a kz collection
2018-08-30 10:17:18 UTC
mean
2018-08-30 10:17:54 UTC
the absolute timing
2018-08-30 10:18:03 UTC
I doubt theyre gonna be much better tho
2018-08-30 10:18:03 UTC
```I mean, it's all relative anyways. Here's an example. If someone was to say that a hypothetical "$50 IEM sounds better than $300 IEMs". Well, there's $300 ChiFi IEMs "that sound better than $1000 IEMs". So does that mean the $50 IEM sounds better than $1000 IEMs (since they sounded better than $300 IEMs, which sounded better than $1000 IEMs)? See how pointless and meaningless those dollar comparisons are?
```
2018-08-30 10:18:12 UTC
they're just gonna be more bassy t2
2018-08-30 10:18:22 UTC
so they did the seal but in factory?
2018-08-30 10:18:52 UTC
gonna be $80 on assdrop probably
2018-08-30 10:19:06 UTC
dear, we put very weak tack inside port that faggots have been blocking since the release of our iem
2018-08-30 10:19:10 UTC
and new packaging
2018-08-30 10:19:12 UTC
by hand
2018-08-30 10:19:17 UTC
therefore $30 price increase
2018-08-30 10:19:20 UTC
id pay 60
2018-08-30 10:19:32 UTC
tfw paid $29 <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
2018-08-30 10:19:38 UTC
I paid like $35
2018-08-30 10:19:41 UTC
and they're worth it
2018-08-30 10:19:43 UTC
for that money
2018-08-30 10:19:48 UTC
how??? they're tiny iems
2018-08-30 10:19:56 UTC
qt2 are slightly uncomfortable after long periods
2018-08-30 10:19:59 UTC
who knows ve monk plus are worse than the original so you never know
2018-08-30 10:20:24 UTC
@foxhunt thats why you buy whats good now and then wait for audio autists to take the plunge
2018-08-30 10:20:29 UTC
if its shit, don't buy it
