is there any reason why this depreciated format is still used in $CURRENT_YEAR besides retro nostalgia?

2018-05-20 16:39:00 UTC

no

2018-05-20 16:39:38 UTC

@Deleted User hoardi- I mean collecting

2018-05-20 16:39:40 UTC

you should use cds instead.. see the magnetic data stored in hard drives can be corrupted with background radiation but cd's have that shiny surface that block radiation waves

2018-05-20 16:40:29 UTC

vinyl is better because โ“กโ“žโ“คโ“โ““ โ“ขโ“žโ“คโ“โ““

2018-05-20 16:40:45 UTC

360 degrees of sound versus 2 degrees

2018-05-20 16:47:19 UTC

Why would he use those amps when he's got a Schiit Stack.

2018-05-20 16:48:57 UTC

oh my god

2018-05-20 16:49:05 UTC

```they spammed, i purchased:
"Hi My Dear Friend, Our New Earphone QKZ VK1 is Coming ! Hi-Res! Hi-Res! Hi-Res! Hi-Res! Hi-Res! Hi-Res! Hi-Res!"```
2018-05-20 16:50:08 UTC
https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/in-ear-headphones/mdr-ex450
I have this, is there chi-fi I can get that'd be better?
2018-05-20 16:51:10 UTC
Considering it's Sony, it'll sound good
2018-05-20 16:51:19 UTC
But the cables will break fast. And erm
2018-05-20 16:51:20 UTC
Not sure
2018-05-20 16:51:24 UTC
I don't have EX450's.
2018-05-20 16:51:30 UTC
damn, $40 IEMs
2018-05-20 16:51:39 UTC
@Millwood budget?
2018-05-20 16:51:54 UTC
I dunno, just throw something that's better at me
2018-05-20 16:52:01 UTC
tin audio t2
2018-05-20 16:52:03 UTC
I'm just researching for now
2018-05-20 16:53:46 UTC
TIN Audio T2 (I should have bought those instead of these meme ZS6's I have), TRN V20 (They sound a bit better than most Sony buds)
2018-05-20 16:55:22 UTC
andromeda
2018-05-20 16:55:33 UTC
think of all the $$$ if you just got them in teh first placer
2018-05-20 16:55:41 UTC
-900
2018-05-20 16:55:54 UTC
I didn't know about chinkshit when i got them
2018-05-20 16:57:04 UTC
TRN V20 has the standard chi-fi connector for iems, right?
2018-05-20 16:57:08 UTC
I mean, my first real pair of earphones were KZ ATE, then KZ ZST, Sony MDR-XB50LP (Which, sound pretty good, I just hate the cheap plastic cable), then TRN V20.
2018-05-20 16:57:12 UTC
It's somewhat standard
2018-05-20 16:57:16 UTC
Bi-pin 0.78mm
2018-05-20 16:57:21 UTC
KZ uses bi-pin 0.75mm
2018-05-20 16:57:39 UTC
t2 uses mmcx
2018-05-20 16:57:56 UTC
mmcx is the most used stanadard then?
2018-05-20 16:58:03 UTC
MMCX is better, too. More cables available, so you won't have a hard time trying to find replacements if the included one breaks.
2018-05-20 16:58:18 UTC
You can buy MMCX cables for <$10 USD. Good ones, too.
2018-05-20 16:58:24 UTC
Oh well, in any case it's easy to get replacement cables so no problem whichever i evenetually get
2018-05-20 16:58:37 UTC
TIN T2 is best bet then
2018-05-20 16:58:47 UTC
Next time I buy earphones I'm getting them.
2018-05-20 16:58:58 UTC
Probably be in a few months since I gotta save up for a Xiaomeme phone but hey
2018-05-20 16:58:59 UTC
same
2018-05-20 16:58:59 UTC
I'll probably do the same
2018-05-20 16:59:08 UTC
what xiaomeme phone are you saving for
2018-05-20 16:59:12 UTC
Redmi 5.
2018-05-20 16:59:14 UTC
tfw saving for the a1
2018-05-20 16:59:35 UTC
not gonna be buying iems with non swappable cables ever again
2018-05-20 16:59:47 UTC
yeah if they break you're fucked
2018-05-20 17:00:07 UTC
Ditto. I may shit on China at times for making shitty stuff, but if you know where to look you can get some pretty fantastic shit.
2018-05-20 17:00:35 UTC
Detachable cables were the best thing to happen budget earphones and IEMs.
2018-05-20 17:01:04 UTC
Anyways, from what I know, TRN and QKZ use the same cables.
2018-05-20 17:01:07 UTC
bi-pin 0.78mm
2018-05-20 17:01:47 UTC
qkz is a shittier oem that has a mix of their own original products and stolen products that are rebranded
2018-05-20 17:01:51 UTC
i wouldnt buy anything from them
2018-05-20 17:02:07 UTC
TRN is supposedly made by ex-kz employees
2018-05-20 17:06:13 UTC
Their QC is on pair with Pre, and post-hype KZ
2018-05-20 17:06:30 UTC
so not good at all
2018-05-20 17:06:47 UTC
2018-05-20 17:11:22 UTC
Yes, I just had to turn down the 10KHz range the nth fucking time
2018-05-20 17:11:23 UTC
2018-05-20 17:11:24 UTC
"yo hol up homie lemme turn up my 9th and 10th drivers"
2018-05-20 17:11:52 UTC
At least I could dampen my ZST's
2018-05-20 17:11:53 UTC
These?
2018-05-20 17:12:16 UTC
Some twat at the manufacture plant decided it was a good idea to epoxy the goddamn grill to the nozzle.
2018-05-20 17:13:02 UTC
Normally it's just regular old sticky glue like my ZST's or ATE's.
2018-05-20 17:13:23 UTC
Soundstage is good, clarity is good, bass is good, treble? Snares hurt.
2018-05-20 17:14:05 UTC
I can only use them on my computer or smartphone since they have EQ's. My MP3 doesn't.
2018-05-20 17:14:32 UTC
Just waiting on foam tips, and hopefully TX-500's mellow out the sound enough for me.
2018-05-20 23:29:28 UTC
i can never etake him seriously with the fuck ing anime girl
Jokes aside, shill me the actual iem or headphone
2018-05-21 00:23:58 UTC
You tested and made an infograph about "mutation pronuction units" so you probably know better <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
2018-05-21 00:24:19 UTC
yincrows are really good, but fuck my ears earbuds are so uncomfortable
2018-05-21 00:24:55 UTC
really the only chi-fi i can recommend is t2, yincrow and zs5v1
2018-05-21 00:25:03 UTC
Tin iems usually get shilled too?
2018-05-21 00:25:18 UTC
tin t2 got measured well
2018-05-21 00:26:40 UTC
Hmm, hopefully kz or some other company will release the next meme
2018-05-21 00:27:11 UTC
```Overall, I think picking this up is a no-brainer. It's a well-tuned IEM(s) regardless of price, and it's an incredible deal for $30. I will be using these a lot, alongside my Andromedas and HS1551s as daily drivers. ```

2018-05-21 00:27:54 UTC

I could wait until the end of summer

2018-05-21 00:28:27 UTC

"Top brands" usually have a mid year release cycle

2018-05-21 00:28:33 UTC

are you american"?

2018-05-21 00:28:40 UTC

they probably won't go below $40 until 11.11 smh y2k <:blobsweats:427568683003412505> <:blobconfounded:427568418107949090>

2018-05-21 00:28:48 UTC

11.11 maymay

2018-05-21 00:28:58 UTC

11.11 is real for chifi

2018-05-21 00:29:00 UTC

super real

2018-05-21 00:29:08 UTC

Bluedio releases a new headphone for every new 11.11

2018-05-21 00:29:16 UTC

ya but bludio sucks

2018-05-21 00:29:31 UTC

for now though, for now

2018-05-21 00:29:43 UTC

They can compete if they want

2018-05-21 00:30:02 UTC

But rather take the beats/bose way

2018-05-21 00:31:06 UTC

There was a edifier headphone with 75+ hours of battery life right?

2018-05-21 00:31:19 UTC

are the hd 6xx identical to the 650?

2018-05-21 00:35:35 UTC

Well looking forward to the xiaomi headset

2018-05-21 00:35:49 UTC

It has that autistic USB c cable for audio <:alismirk:230784726615588865>

2018-05-21 00:36:03 UTC

fuuuuuuuuck my ms15's went out in one ear

2018-05-21 00:36:31 UTC

2018-05-21 00:42:27 UTC

@AstroJannah xiaomi headset?

2018-05-21 00:42:56 UTC

Xiaomi gaming headset
It has all the memes

2018-05-21 00:47:59 UTC

that looks pretty cool actaully

2018-05-21 00:48:42 UTC

I'm tempted to try it out, but I doubt it could beat Cloud II's.

2018-05-21 00:52:14 UTC

yeah

2018-05-21 00:52:15 UTC

but t

2018-05-21 00:52:16 UTC

2018-05-21 00:52:17 UTC

look so cool

2018-05-21 00:54:24 UTC

That's why I want them in the first place

2018-05-21 00:54:41 UTC

rgb speakers dudessss

2018-05-21 00:55:47 UTC

Probably sounds like shit but gimme anyways.

2018-05-21 00:58:50 UTC

I don't think I'd buy anything from Logitech unless it's mice or keyboards.

2018-05-21 00:59:05 UTC

@Windatica For the isolation, all you need is the tips that come with the ROCK zircon. The zircons are very cheap, so... shouldn't be a problem. That combo is the ultimate combo, and makes ANY other chi-fi IEM pointless (IMHO). Also, Tin Audio are working on a T2 PRO, that will have more bass (if that's your thing), so you could wait for those to release as well.

2018-05-21 00:59:06 UTC

is this true

2018-05-21 00:59:16 UTC

not at all

2018-05-21 00:59:19 UTC

zircon has shit tips

2018-05-21 00:59:26 UTC

Zircon are shitty tips.

2018-05-21 00:59:28 UTC

does it make any other chi iem pointless

2018-05-21 00:59:49 UTC

i can't speak for other, more expensive chifi but i will say this

2018-05-21 01:00:01 UTC

it did not strictly outpreform the zs5v1, but it was equally as impressive

2018-05-21 01:00:09 UTC

thats p good tbh

2018-05-21 01:00:15 UTC

zs5v1 is different characteristically

2018-05-21 01:00:56 UTC

fun, very narrow soundstage, its very different to what i've listened to before

2018-05-21 01:01:52 UTC

interesting

2018-05-21 01:01:58 UTC

only 10$ as well

2018-05-21 01:02:01 UTC

wat

2018-05-21 01:02:01 UTC

Wait, which one are we talking about?

2018-05-21 01:02:07 UTC

zs5v1 is like $16

2018-05-21 01:02:08 UTC

id get a pair but that's violating my no chi-fi rule

2018-05-21 01:02:11 UTC

but its discontinued

2018-05-21 01:02:16 UTC

yeah i meant the zircons

2018-05-21 01:02:19 UTC

oh no

2018-05-21 01:02:24 UTC

zircons are.. not bad but not good

2018-05-21 01:02:28 UTC

oh lmao

2018-05-21 01:02:35 UTC

i was talking about zs5v1

2018-05-21 01:02:51 UTC

Was just wondering what you were comparing zs5v1 to

2018-05-21 01:02:56 UTC

tin t2

2018-05-21 01:02:59 UTC

oh lmao

2018-05-21 01:03:24 UTC

t2 are a really solid well-rounder, its not overly sibilant and if you don't like bass just don't do the mod

2018-05-21 01:03:36 UTC

yeah ill rpob get a pair of t2 come a sale

2018-05-21 01:03:49 UTC

You got TRN V20's to compare to Tin T2's?

2018-05-21 01:03:56 UTC

I'm still looking at getting a pair, eventually.

2018-05-21 01:04:18 UTC

i wish i had CAL or gr07 to compare them too but i don't

2018-05-21 01:04:45 UTC

i have a picture of what i have, i'll post it again

2018-05-21 01:04:45 UTC

thats a good point acutally

2018-05-21 01:04:48 UTC

why dont i just get a gr07

2018-05-21 01:05:01 UTC

its twice the price? i like being an OY VEY

2018-05-21 01:05:07 UTC

3x the price actually

2018-05-21 01:05:18 UTC

$36 * 3 = $108, for gr07 detachable

2018-05-21 01:05:42 UTC

i wish i knew what gr07 sounded like so i could say "hey just buy a t2"

2018-05-21 01:06:00 UTC

oh yeah

2018-05-21 01:06:01 UTC

twice the price

2018-05-21 01:06:02 UTC

ok

2018-05-21 01:06:04 UTC

yeah ill just get t2

2018-05-21 01:06:21 UTC

whats your biggest regret

2018-05-21 01:07:04 UTC

everything in the top 4

2018-05-21 01:07:30 UTC

so zs3 , monks

2018-05-21 01:07:35 UTC

dunno bottom 2

2018-05-21 01:09:17 UTC

the bottom left is some generic garbage, bottom right is eiaosi x6

2018-05-21 01:09:53 UTC

es3 is weird, out of my computer it doesn't have piercing treble, out of my phone or the bluetooth cable it does

2018-05-21 01:10:16 UTC

not sure what OI is for any of my sources

2018-05-21 01:12:35 UTC

Oh, yeah, forgot to say

2018-05-21 01:12:41 UTC

I ordered Yincrow X6's.

2018-05-21 01:12:45 UTC

Should be here in a month.

2018-05-21 01:12:53 UTC

Got the ones with the upgraded cable, too.

2018-05-21 01:13:02 UTC

Nice

2018-05-21 01:13:16 UTC

I want to see how they sound, it's been a while since I've used earbuds

2018-05-21 01:14:50 UTC

upgraded cable?

2018-05-21 01:15:01 UTC

The same one you've got.

2018-05-21 01:15:10 UTC

i think they all have the same cable

2018-05-21 01:15:16 UTC

I noticed some Yincrow X6's come with a super cheap cable

2018-05-21 01:15:26 UTC

wat

2018-05-21 01:16:43 UTC

they're all the same price except with controls is a lil more

2018-05-21 01:17:18 UTC

Well, considering I just use most of my shit on a PMP, I don't really need a mic or controls.

2018-05-21 01:17:24 UTC

That's what I ordered.

2018-05-21 01:17:37 UTC

I think I went a little overboard on that price though.

2018-05-21 01:18:14 UTC

Wat

2018-05-21 01:18:20 UTC

...that's legit the same cable as the $10 one, just.

2018-05-21 01:18:20 UTC

You did

2018-05-21 01:18:23 UTC

I'm retarded.

2018-05-21 01:18:37 UTC

Vido are the ones with the cheap cable.

2018-05-21 01:18:48 UTC

Same earbuds difference cable tather
