headphones like my AKG's have a flat EQ but my seinheisser IEM's are default bass boosted

so to some people the bass boosted feature of my IEM's would ruin songs

but studio monitors are for mixing audio

in a studio

for listening to music as it was intended to be heard right from the mixing table

you get indentical sound

so this is why they're an important part of choosing

there's no "it's the best for it's price in the world

even in chink land there's piston 3's hybrids and zircons and KZ's and shit

and i wont know how good the zircons are untill i listen to the pistons and the hybrids
