I'm building an SBR, but at the same time, fuck the ATF, I don't want to get put on an SBR registry and pay a tax stamp... so now I'm looking at AR-15 pistols instead.... what are your guys thoughts on the best braces out there? @Static in my honest opinion a AR pistol or SBR is a waste of time and money unless you’re a small frame kinda guy

If you’re an average size person who isn’t going to use said firearm for personal protection you have so many more options with a standard 16 inch barrel/carbine

Unless you want to legitimately carry said AR pistol for self defense (a little absurd and not practical)

Ar pistols are not accurate unless youre planning to use a 9mm pistol ammo one, and SBR is a pain waiting for ATF to approve it. When you can get a normal size carbine for cheaper

I'm slapping a can on the end of it too, so that should give me an extra, meh, 3% bullet velocity? It tacks on a couple inches onto the barrel. You're not going to be hitting much out to 400yds with anything under a 16", but again, it all depends on what you're getting the gun for.
