@Ablesmith We're not trying to appeal to everyone, we're trying to appeal to certain Americans who are looking for an alternative to the system we currently live under.
And our website of course.
You cannot have a message that has the sole purpose of appealing to the lowest common denominator, or you end up with baseless socialist claims of gibs for everyone.
Tbh fam the fasces is really bad optics. I mean that evil guy Mussolini used it and stuff
We want to be an organization that William Peirce would join
Now you're just being sarcastic.
That was the goal
That evil guy George Washington had one too.
@NDO Eric - TX practically a nazi
The absolute madman
Can we replace the MLK monument with a big ass statue of George Washington?
In self defense of course
If you are going to make the case that the swastika has been demonized because of the NSDAP I would figure that the argument would be applied for the fasces as well. After all, the swastika is an ancient symbol, just like the fasces. Regardless if our American forefathers used it, it has since been demonized
I forgot where I saw this but there is a Heimbach quote from a video where he states to Schoep, "Maybe they'll have statues of us one day, but hopefully I'm about 40 pounds lighter."
Ablesmith, the fasces isnt nearly as demonized as the swastika
most people have no idea what it means
Not nearly to the degree of the swastika. Most people have no idea what a Fasces even is
So all that matters is how others view us?
It's about how we present
no, but you can't be autistic about it, there is such a thing as nuance. the swastika is not an american symbol, The fasces is
we still have fasces in the house chamber yeah
Doxx'd
If anyoneโs on Instagram follow me. About to start posting PF material.
Doxxd myself
Iโll post that. Thanks goy
@Ablesmith The fasces really has not been demonized, and is far, far more prevalent in American history and culture throughout Western Civilization. The comparison is flawed. It's not just how we present, it's also about using things we believe in. I believe in the symbol of the fasces because of what it represents.
@hlaiwas Wait a bit and I'll send you a not messed up version of that.
10-4
crop skills/10
absolutely aesthetic
@Thomas Ryan PLEASE make these official propaganda.
@everyone yโall better follow me
We don't do fashwave on the official accounts because it has colors other than red/white/blue. HOWEVER, you're free to post them on personal accounts and all that.
Very cool.
Yea those are badass
Okay, question. Even though you don't use the swastika, do you beleive in what it represents?
I believe it is a symbol that represents a people that I do not belong to.
I'm going to say yes since most people associate it with George Lincoln Rockwell's "this is the symbol of my race" doctrine.
But I don't think we should use it as an explicitly american organization
I believe Thomas views it as german symbol specifically
The swastikas is a foreign symbol, I wouldn't use the sonnenrand or Slavic sun wheel either
The fasces is literally the physical representation of "from many one"
they are both ancient symbols and I understand the affinity for it
I think it's more of a broadly Germanic thing, if any. We also don't use relatively un-demonized runes like the black sun because they aren't American in nature.
I don't know what your ethnic origin is but greater than our ethnicities the swastika represents the white race and even greater than that it is a symbol of the idea of ethno-nationalism as a whole
That said, I happen to remember a few members with a swastika flag
@Ablesmith How does the symbol itself, as part of its origin, represent ethnonationalism?
You can have a swastika or you can actually have members, easy call for me.
Youโve already got to be redpilled to appreciate the imagery, and without that youโre just going to be turned off. Practicality over sentimental symbols
It's an Indo Aryan symbol used by Hitler and the NSDAP. I truly believe National Socialism is the most successful form of fascism while it existed but it has nothing to do with what we are trying to accomplish
@Rocky Place ๐
I believe he's making the point that it is a representation of the white race. I am simply saying that we are an explicit american organization and so draw the symbolism closer. The swastika is too wide. Let's not forget also that it has been programmed into many that it is an inherintly evil symbol. And while we do not agree with those people, it helps break the conditioning when you don't look like the stereotypical villain and still proclaim your values
It was a symbol that was used by the most widely known ethno nationalists in history. It is used currently by nationalists all around the globe. America, Japan and South America to name a few. Of course I want to live in an ethno state full of white brothers and sisters from all European ethnicities but I will stand for any people that seek self determination and freedom from the Jews
That's great. We're not using Swastikas so it's moot
A race is a larger classification of a people than a nation. There are many nations which compose a race. The White race is composed of many nations, one of those nations is America. We are centered on national identity, not racial identity as the first concept we bring to the table. Universal symbols, as you see the swastika, are thus not really at the core of our message.
Whatever. I'm not saying you should use the swastika.
Its hard to read tone in text, so I hope we're all coming across as we intend
I'm trying to deep dive into the ideology behind this organization because other than the manifesto there really isn't much substance
?
Isn't much substance?
Give me a question, and I will give you an answer.
Your statement you made last sufficed for the answer I was looking for
Wym?
Gotcha, well don't hesitate to bring anything up if you're curious.
"The American identity has no substance but the swastika does"
Odds are I've been asked something similar before.
I didn't say the American identity has no substance
@southland That's not what he's saying.
I'm talking about the substance of this specific organization
Yes
The organization that you are a part of
Point being?
@southland He is more than free to ask questions about my positions.
Calm down folks.
Let's keep it civil.
I like this group, but seeing people talk so much shit about other groups gets to me a bit
I don't endorse the harsh critiques of other organizations. Everyone's stance to them should be at best neutral. Your mindset should be to provide an alternative if you believe they are doing something wrong, not to pull them down.
That's always been my stance.
Regardless of your opinion on their methodlogy, You have to realize that if we were in a dire situation, people like the TWP and even the NSM would rally around us with shields in their hands.
And we would rally to theirs. Don't spend too much time in the general, its not healthy. @everyone
I would not stop them from doing so. The reasons we do not currently work with them are simply organizational, not personal. I would have no issues with helping them if one of them was in need.
I enjoy shitposting about anyone but when it comes to the bigger picture we all have common ground when it comes to who the enemy is..
I am speaking purely of political positions and branding choices, not on the basis of personal value.
I'm not talking about TWP. Questioning the substance of your own organization based around not using the swastika is a little strange to me, but I'll leave it at that if I'm in the wrong.
Dude, I'm not dogging you guys for not using the swazi, I was just trying to make a point. My question of ideological substance is largely unrelated to the point i was making about symbolism
Let's drop it. Points have been made.
If you have a question, feel free to ask.
