Tumeric is a great herbal supplement to fight inflammation. MSM, Glucosamine, Chondroitin, Collagen, and ashwaganda are pretty good too. Any GNC will carry an abundance of them. Triflex is a relatively cheap formula that combines them, but imo Instaflex or Dr. Joints is a lot better. @JesseJames

2018-08-13 14:46:32 UTC

@Suomi Stronk great thanks man. I will make a trip to the local gnc and pick some up.

2018-08-13 14:47:40 UTC

glycine and salt lol

2018-08-13 14:47:44 UTC

and water

2018-08-13 16:06:03 UTC

I take every supplement imaginable for joints @JesseJames @Suomi Stronk but I can never really tell you if they work.

2018-08-14 04:32:03 UTC

Managed to somehow pull my trap today

2018-08-14 04:32:11 UTC

Good thing tomorrow is leg day

HuffPo wants Rise Above Movement to be censored by Instagram. Nice! When you’re catching flak, you know you’re above the target.

2018-08-17 02:22:19 UTC

Violent or no violent, HuffPo tracks down platforms and intimidates them into deplatforming.

2018-08-17 12:06:38 UTC

So crappy. We have to win now for all those that have suffered personally at this point.

2018-08-22 01:07:04 UTC

Just started doing 100 burpees each and every day after I get off work now that it's tougher for me to get to the gym. Definitely a quick, killer workout.

2018-08-22 01:37:10 UTC

That sounds like a killer

2018-08-22 01:53:25 UTC

2018-08-22 02:08:32 UTC

2018-08-23 16:46:13 UTC

got any fellow olympic lifters here?

2018-08-23 16:48:23 UTC

I'm pretty weak at the lifts but I know em

2018-08-23 16:49:24 UTC

Same. my ratios are pretty bad for my weight so i know that feel.

2018-08-23 16:49:45 UTC

I'll continue to use the excuse of leverages lol

2018-08-23 16:49:55 UTC

I'm not built for it

2018-08-23 16:50:40 UTC

lol yeah I'm about 6

Yes, I am both of you

2018-08-23 19:21:25 UTC

I'm pretty familiar with most Olympic lifts @Gerald Cunningham

2018-08-23 19:31:40 UTC

Training for oly is about all I do anymore @Suomi Stronk

2018-08-23 20:48:14 UTC

I'm actually planning on doing some snatches today

2018-08-23 22:15:06 UTC

Godspeed brother

2018-08-24 10:59:20 UTC

haha damn

2018-08-24 20:30:49 UTC

What is recommended for doing HIIT (specifically rowing machine) as coordinated with lifting? Any reason I should do it on lifting days vs. rest days?

2018-08-27 00:36:38 UTC

Jesus christ

2018-08-27 00:36:56 UTC

My skin started itching just looking at that amount of L-Citruline and Beta-Alanine

2018-08-27 00:37:12 UTC

4.4 g is nuts

2018-08-27 00:40:24 UTC

That stuff literally made my nervous system tingle for 24 hours one time

2018-08-27 00:44:28 UTC

@Gerald Cunningham bro I worked out, left and ate dinner. This was like 2 hours later I still felt like i was tweaking so i went and worked out again. Like high intensity sopping in sweat to burn off the energy

2018-08-27 00:44:31 UTC

2018-08-27 01:24:30 UTC

It's the dimethylamine

2018-08-27 01:40:28 UTC

Sounds good 😩

2018-08-27 01:50:45 UTC

I just looked up demethylamine apparently it's an ingredient in rocket fuel......

2018-08-27 01:52:12 UTC

2018-08-27 01:57:25 UTC

i need this

2018-08-27 02:09:28 UTC

i don't fuck around with no preworkout

2018-08-27 02:21:22 UTC

@Deleted User ^^

Me either. I hit the gym before daybreak.

No energy boost needed first thing in the A.M.

2018-08-27 02:29:12 UTC

2018-08-27 02:30:33 UTC

When I take pre workout I just sweat profusely lol

2018-08-27 02:32:56 UTC

tf lol

2018-08-27 02:33:07 UTC

preworkouts never really affected me much

2018-08-27 02:33:18 UTC

maybe I just need to piana it

2018-08-27 03:26:43 UTC

Idk, don't really use caffeine either so maybe that's why

2018-08-27 16:41:18 UTC

2018-08-27 16:52:06 UTC

2018-08-27 20:42:37 UTC

ok guys today we have *looks at sheet* ... worm deadlifts

2018-08-27 20:58:40 UTC

sounds good coach

2018-08-27 21:31:36 UTC

some people can get away with it for reasons, most can't

2018-08-28 03:27:51 UTC

I laughed pretty hard at @Mark Vandal's prework out story

2018-08-28 03:28:23 UTC

I just do creatine and maybe a little caffeine before working out. Never been a huge fan of stimulants.

2018-08-28 03:45:58 UTC

@Reinhard Wolff yo I swear i was tweaking my ass off for a good 3+ hours

2018-08-28 03:46:57 UTC

After 2 work outs

2018-08-28 04:48:28 UTC

Creatine scares the hell out of me to be honest.

2018-08-28 04:48:58 UTC

I don’t like the feeling of something I can’t see crawling all over my skin.

2018-08-28 19:00:31 UTC

@ChippedStones creatine isn't what causes that sensation. That would be the other vitamins and stimulants that's marketed in these SUPER CHARGED MONSTER GAINZ preworkouts.

2018-08-28 19:42:40 UTC

creatine is basically powder testosterone, okay

2018-08-28 20:05:25 UTC

not really ^ lol 😎

2018-08-28 20:05:29 UTC

but creatine is awesome

2018-08-28 20:07:02 UTC

creatine gave me roid rage

2018-08-28 20:47:53 UTC

@Gerald Cunningham I see, I’ve only used it two times, but yeah it was a pre workout so I guess my view on it is a bit skewed.

2018-08-28 21:27:13 UTC

Hell yeah

2018-08-28 21:33:51 UTC

We need a lot more of hims.

2018-09-01 15:22:06 UTC

Did 3x4 archer pull-ups for the first time yesterday

2018-09-01 17:31:07 UTC

What is an Archer Pull Up? @John O -

2018-09-04 01:40:21 UTC

I'm so disappointed in myself today. Had all the time in the world to go lift, but I let myself get too comfortable and next thing I know it's night time

2018-09-04 01:40:42 UTC

I'm at the point I'm going to just make a set schedule to go by and will follow it without excuse

2018-09-04 01:42:04 UTC

I mean

2018-09-04 01:42:09 UTC

how bad do you want it?

2018-09-04 01:48:50 UTC

Unfortunately, a hectic work life added with school has left me without a lot of energy in what little free time I do have. But that's no excuse, and it's just a mental barrier I have to get over.

2018-09-04 01:49:03 UTC

I'm just happy I'm back to eating clean again

2018-09-04 01:49:07 UTC

Feels so much better

2018-09-04 01:51:03 UTC

eh I wouldn't sweat it too much

2018-09-04 01:51:25 UTC

recovery is almost more important than the actual lifting itself

2018-09-04 01:52:35 UTC

Funny enough, working out tends to be my stress reliever, so I'm almost more uptight with the days of I've had

2018-09-04 01:53:26 UTC

Lifting and MMA is therapeutic

2018-09-04 01:53:52 UTC

I'm so glad I've found these things lol

2018-09-04 01:56:18 UTC

I really need to pick up BJJ here

2018-09-04 01:56:33 UTC

Did some very mock fighting during the warrior dash and I want to get into it

2018-09-04 01:57:32 UTC

All I do is spar with IE folks and practice on my heavy bag

2018-09-04 01:59:00 UTC

I'm not huge on bjj but I know @Deleted User knows a thing or two

2018-09-04 02:00:12 UTC

Oh yeah, I wrestled around with the old man this summer

2018-09-04 02:00:19 UTC

And he kicked my ass pretty solidly

2018-09-04 02:43:03 UTC

Who has some experience with massage balls/rollers? I’ve gotten to where my back and shoulder muscles stay so tense they’re almost always sore. I have curvature of the spine from a moto accident from when I was younger so that doesn’t help but I thought I might try one of these balls or rollers.

2018-09-04 02:58:19 UTC

I do, but tbh it'd be very difficult to explain not in person

2018-09-04 03:14:21 UTC

So you think they work? Is it something I could learn to use properly from YouTube or something

2018-09-04 03:27:56 UTC

I've used them and got some relief

2018-09-04 04:11:52 UTC

I think I’ll pick one up tomorrow and see how it goes.

2018-09-04 11:30:08 UTC

@Suomi Stronk You + BJJ = deadly.

2018-09-04 14:12:56 UTC

@JesseJames They can be very helpful but it has to be a consistent habit to have any real relief.

2018-09-04 20:17:13 UTC

Crush it, brother! @Robtheroman

2018-09-05 00:00:42 UTC

@JesseJames Foam rolling is clutch. I do not think I would be able to function without it. Remember that the tightness you feel can be stemming from other parts of the body, so roll out as much as you can. For example my lower back gets tight if I don't keep my hips loose

2018-09-05 15:13:46 UTC

@Robtheroman payment processor good to go? Lol I think i still have three shirts in my cart.

2018-09-05 15:56:37 UTC

Dude, nice! Very happy to see you back up. Looks like I need to make another order soon.

2018-09-05 21:16:59 UTC

anyone else follow professional bodybuilding?

2018-09-06 17:28:54 UTC

2018-09-06 22:27:15 UTC

@Deleted User I was at the park today doing my routine, and two Asian guys showed up and started doing like 100 pull-ups each

2018-09-06 22:40:18 UTC

Wiry little feckers, those Asians.

2018-09-07 00:30:18 UTC

Haha. Were they big? Or lean

2018-09-07 00:36:01 UTC

Asians are natural ninjas

2018-09-07 01:35:25 UTC

100 pull-ups = skipped leg day

2018-09-07 03:52:37 UTC

Iron path is useful for olympic lifters and any kind of weight training, pretty neat stuff. Free version only lets you keep 3 videos at a time, though.

2018-09-07 03:55:57 UTC

---> it tracks the path of your bar from a side view.

2018-09-07 22:47:48 UTC

@Pat-MA They ere 5'2 skinny af. They were explosive pulls, too. It was like being at the circus

2018-09-07 22:50:09 UTC

explosive pulls are easy, those mofos have no bodyweight and momentum was helping them. damn manlets showing us up

2018-09-07 23:00:45 UTC

Extra power in the gym

2018-09-07 23:22:17 UTC

@Rogue No kipping explosive pulls

2018-09-07 23:22:27 UTC

They didn't kip at all

2018-09-07 23:24:15 UTC

Did they lock out their arms?

2018-09-07 23:24:20 UTC

2018-09-07 23:44:22 UTC

Bro, idfk, it was pretty impressive even if the form wasn't strict

2018-09-07 23:48:42 UTC

Yeah but did they engage their hips?

2018-09-07 23:48:55 UTC

just kidding bruv, wish I could knock out that many

2018-09-07 23:49:19 UTC

I knew some kids in high school that did cross country, were thin and short, could knock out 40+ pull-ups with ease

2018-09-08 02:38:41 UTC

It was weird man. They did 20 pullups, then did a set of 10 pushups on the raised bar, then did 20 more

2018-09-08 10:51:18 UTC

When in the army, I would do wide arm pushups for my PT test. My range of motion was like 4 inches. Maxed those shits.

2018-09-11 03:23:26 UTC

Any of you fine gents rock climb?

2018-09-11 03:27:11 UTC

@JC17-OR You want to talk to @Felden - CO about that.

2018-09-11 17:31:56 UTC

Well I’ve been using a foam roller for about a week and I can say it is helping me out. I think I find better ways to use it every couple of days still so I’d say the rollers are promising.

2018-09-12 02:51:05 UTC

@nils someone said “rock climb”

2018-09-12 02:53:50 UTC

@JC17-OR I climb somewhat frequently

2018-09-12 02:54:30 UTC

Did you guys know Ronnie Coleman is a cop?

2018-09-12 03:54:07 UTC

Jesus they will let anyone be a police officer. He maybe huge but his iq is small.

2018-09-12 16:40:36 UTC

@JesseJames Different times but still the same.

2018-09-12 16:41:20 UTC

@nils cool, talked with @Felden - CO about my questions, but I'll PM if I have more.

2018-09-12 16:58:41 UTC

Dang fascists and there fight clubs

2018-09-14 01:50:59 UTC

@JesseJames yeah dude, the guy is retarded. The clip of him taking the statement and not even paying attention is incredible

2018-09-14 02:06:09 UTC

I am assuming that wasn’t a real call and those where “actors” , at least I hope so anyway. I have no doubt my 13 year old daughter is more intelligent than that man.

2018-09-14 03:05:26 UTC

2018-09-26 03:39:03 UTC

Lmao does the Golden One know he’s the picture for one of our servers

2018-09-26 10:17:46 UTC

Haha yes he does, I told him in an email exchange a while back

2018-09-26 10:17:59 UTC
2018-09-26 15:06:45 UTC

Awesome 😂 Now if only he would make a video about us

2018-09-26 16:17:02 UTC

He has mentioned us positively in past videos

2018-09-26 20:52:15 UTC

@everyone - These playlists I've made might be of interest to you, especially if you're looking to get some extra fire behind a workout.

2018-09-26 20:53:00 UTC

is there any harebreed on that play list

2018-09-26 20:53:15 UTC

hatebreed always gets me hella pumped

2018-09-26 20:53:54 UTC

I haven't listened to them enough to include their music. Any albums you specifically recommend?

2018-09-26 21:03:05 UTC

2018-09-26 21:11:25 UTC

Thank you for sharing @Aleis⊕ccidentalis!

2018-09-26 21:15:17 UTC

This is pretty good, I usually just listen to the /pol/ anthem on repeat or mr. Bond. Both are really good.

2018-09-26 21:18:05 UTC

@Krypto- OH the 8pol techno beat or Erika?

2018-09-26 21:19:12 UTC

Here you go buddy.

2018-09-26 21:22:42 UTC

Also check out Power Level by Mr. Bond

2018-09-26 22:16:56 UTC

@Caboose satisfaction is the death of desire...hatebreed's best album

2018-09-30 20:25:44 UTC

You guys have any tips on strength training? I work manual labor and I’m really tired of my muscles feeling completely dead whenever I come home

2018-09-30 20:30:42 UTC

@NITRODUBS I work manual labour as well. The trick for me is to do it first thing in the morning, before going to work. I feel like it makes me less tired at work and gives me more energy. That's why I go to bed at 8 every night now. So I can wake up at 4, cook breakfast, be at the gym and then to work by 7

2018-09-30 20:34:14 UTC

My only problem is I already have to wake up at 4 so I don’t know how I’d manage that hahaha

2018-09-30 20:34:42 UTC

I lost a lot of weight since I started working there and i just feel a lot weaker now

2018-09-30 20:39:26 UTC

You probably just need to eat better, and more

2018-09-30 20:39:45 UTC

mainly just more

2018-09-30 20:40:00 UTC

sounds like your job is giving you enough training stimuli

2018-09-30 20:51:45 UTC

Eat more

2018-09-30 20:51:47 UTC

and give it time

2018-09-30 20:51:52 UTC

your job will make you stronger

2018-09-30 20:51:59 UTC

(i work construction)

2018-09-30 20:52:30 UTC

I always go to the gym about 2 hours after work, 4-5 days a week. Eat enough carbs and take my pre workout and I'm usually good to go.

2018-09-30 21:02:40 UTC

Pre workout is a blessing for you then , yeah

2018-09-30 21:02:55 UTC

Take it after work

2018-10-01 00:42:06 UTC

How many hours of sleep are you getting each night?

2018-10-01 01:39:18 UTC

I get like 6

2018-10-01 01:42:39 UTC

I try and get 8, but usually end up at 6-7

2018-10-01 01:42:43 UTC

I'm making gains so it's all good

2018-10-01 01:45:28 UTC

7-9. Sleep is number one factor in health, happiness, recovery, brain health

2018-10-01 01:46:11 UTC

Arnold says all you need is 6 hours. "sleep faster"

2018-10-01 01:46:23 UTC

granted he's probably just saying that because it sounds good

2018-10-01 01:46:28 UTC

and the roids

2018-10-01 01:46:31 UTC

2018-10-01 01:47:33 UTC

sleep 20 hours, gym 2, eat 2

2018-10-01 01:48:16 UTC

honestly it's all about sleep and diet

2018-10-01 01:48:33 UTC

gym 30 minutes, eat 10 hours, sleep 10 hours, watch anime 3 hours and 30 minutes

2018-10-01 03:05:25 UTC

@NITRODUBS that’s your problem. You need to go to bed earlier.

2018-10-02 03:36:46 UTC

2018-10-02 03:37:26 UTC

Broke: 4/pol/
Woke: 4/fit/

2018-10-02 03:37:40 UTC

Be sure to not squat exclusively, lel

2018-10-02 03:38:28 UTC

How does that happen?

2018-10-02 04:26:30 UTC

noticing the lack of calves too

2018-10-02 04:27:57 UTC

Yeah I have started training calves, albeit on the dreaded MACHINES. Calves recover more quickly than most, IIRC

2018-10-02 04:29:27 UTC

I homegym it, calves are weird training without machines

2018-10-02 04:31:24 UTC

What is your method, @Deleted User ?

2018-10-02 04:31:38 UTC

How exactly do you guys train calves? I basically just do calf raises and a calf extension machine

2018-10-02 04:32:33 UTC

on the end of my bench is a quad extention bit, I put it up completely, slip my knees under and use it as an improvised seated calve raise

2018-10-02 04:32:45 UTC

There is a squat machine. I do actual squats in the free-weight barbell rack/cage. But I do calves in the machine, just raising up and down utilizing the elevation of the machine's foot platform as compared to the actual ground.

can't really load a bunch of weight with this method sadly

2018-10-02 04:34:26 UTC

and i just do standing barbell calve raises

2018-10-02 04:34:48 UTC

but you gotta balance, so can't go super heavy either

2018-10-02 04:34:56 UTC

just my own limitations

2018-10-03 05:14:44 UTC

2018-10-07 19:23:31 UTC

Not to Styx-post, but there really is a moral panic going around, and not to Goad-post, but the bluehair/pinkhats are the same as the 1980s church ladies. seeing Satan/nahseez under every bed. Even in a Castizo/Hapa-friendly Roman-LARP gym
