makes it hard to read
Yeah, not the best quality unfortunately
New charles murray book ready for predorder https://www.amazon.com/Human-Diversity-Biology-Gender-Class/dp/1538744015/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=
hmm, perfect timing
Howโs the hardcover version much lower in price than the kindle version though, strange
Might buy that, saw it advertised. /ourguy/?
I mean if you don't own any charles murray books yet you might want to go for something like "human accomplishment" which imo is his magnum opus. But yeah he's definitely ourguy and any book he authors is worth picking up.
Oh, he's the guy behind the Bell Curve?
Yeah

In Harran, the locals refused to convert. They were dismembered, their limbs hung along the townโs main street. In Alexandria, zealots pulled the elderly philosopher-mathematician Hypatia from her chariot and flayed her to death with shards of broken pottery. Not long before, their fellow Christians had invaded the cityโs greatest temple and razed itโsmashing its world-famous statues and destroying all that was left of Alexandriaโs Great Library.
Today, we refer to Christianityโs conquest of the West as a โtriumph.โ But this victory entailed an orgy of destruction in which Jesusโs followers attacked and suppressed classical culture, helping to pitch Western civilization into a thousand-year-long decline. Just one percent of Latin literature would survive the purge; countless antiquities, artworks, and ancient traditions were lost forever.
As Catherine Nixey reveals, evidence of early Christiansโ campaign of terror has been hiding in plain sight: in the palimpsests and shattered statues proudly displayed in churches and museums the world over. In The Darkening Age, Nixey resurrects this lost history, offering a wrenching account of the rise of Christianity and its terrible cost.
Some obscure books
anyone read pat buchanan? Worth reading? Seems based
i've heard good things. never personally read but probably should at some point
Yeah
he was the original far righter with good optics
yeah, I listened to a bit of "The Unnecessary War"... think I'm gonna pick that up, along with Death of the West, which seems to be his classic
Pat Buchanan ran this ad on national TV for his presidential run in 2000
lol
didn't know he ran
Yep
back then the internet wasnt as big yet
so the fact this was on TV stations was insane
The media would NEVER talk about Pat
they learned from the Ross Perot ordeal
yeah, his "Unnecessary War" book seems extreme by todays mainstream standards
Sounds like he was fringe even back in the day
He was, even by the mainstream right
They didnt even acknowledge him
But look how dead on he was
This ad is older than most people on here
ya looks old lol. I was around. But ya seems based. Def gonna check him out
pat buchanan is definitely worth reading
so is henry ford
and sam francis
```Chimp in state of nature never jerks off, but in captivity he does, wat does this
mean? In state of nature heโs too busy, to put plainly. He is concerned with
mastering space: solving problem of life in and under trees, mastering what tools
he can, mastering social relations in the jockeying for power and status. Deprived
of this drive to development and self-increase he devolves to pointless
masturbation, in captivity, where he senses he is in owned space and therefore
the futility of all his efforts and all his actions. The onanism of modern society is
connected with its supposed โhyper-sexualizationโ and its infertility. Itโs not really
hyper-sexualization, but the devolution of the spirit to the lassitude of a diffuse
and weak sexuality. Life in owned space becomes drained of energy through low-
grade pointless titillationโand nofap is a kind of cargo cult that tries to
reestablish energy in order, on path of ascent. Sometimes, however, itโs a
successful cargo cult, but whether it works or no can be seen usually within a
week. The unfortunate thing about all this is that w*m*n have exceptionally good
antennae for this kind of thing, and when a man frees himself from these
pressuresโฆthey see this from very far away. They have an instinct to seek out
ascending life and drain itโฆthey and the species thereby achieve their goals, but
you are bled dry and sometimes left a husk. They revert life back to its irritated
state, and by their drainage of vital essence theyโve laid low many great tasks.```
so i started reading Arabian Nights aka Thousand and One Nights
im thinking lets see what arab culture is all about
mfw the entire structure of the story is based on a cuckolded king who murders his wife for sleeping with a negroid slave, then has virgins brought to him to marry each night, consummates that same night, then has them killed in the morning. mfw
medieval arabs seem p based
one of the first morals of their most classic piece of oration/literature is essentially: dont trust any woman, they all cheat on their husbands. kill them if they do, then remarry and make sure she doesnt do it again, by all means necessary.
also the first "night" is about a woman that asks her husband too much and has to be beaten by him until she basically shuts the fuck up lmao
i went to find an audio version on yt and listened to a lecture about how Arabian Nights is not authentic, theres an early syrian manuscript that resembles a small part of it. dude was saying Europeans pretty much made it up.
*Modernity & Cultural Decline: A Biobehavioral Perspective*
-*This book argues that despite the many real advantages that industrial modernity has yieldedโincluding large gains in wealth, longevity, and (possibly) happinessโit has occurred together with the appearance of a variety of serious problems. Chief among these are probable losses in subjective existential purpose and increases in psychopathology. A highly original theory of the ultimate basis of these trends is advanced, which unites prior work in psychometrics and evolutionary science. This theory builds on the social epistasis amplification model to argue that genetic and epigenetic changes in modernizing and modernized populations, stemming from shifts in selective pressures related to industrialization, have lowered human fitness and wellness. *-
@auamoti well there are a LOT of differing translations. but the authentic ones are based on the original orations told fireside at the travelling camps. so yes some of it is europeans fantasizing. but most of it is confirmed by scholars, at least the richard burton version is. there are a few other authentic ones but his is verified by a number of egyptian assyrian and persian scholars
what are some good beginner books on fascism?
are you seriously interested @Deleted User
@Deleted User i wouldn't have asked if i wasn't interested.
might seek out the books though, i hate reading over the internet
yeah, thing is you search for facists book, its' mostly books about the critique of it
i got a bunch of different books, not sure if they are explicitly "fascist"
maybe someone else can give a list, a lot of what i know that some would consider falls under that category would be more specifically National Socialism, Race realism, jewish critique
What even is a "beginner" fascism text?
mien kamf?
thats NS though
Scrolling down the page is destroying my vision
Former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon says he is "fascinated" by former Italian dictator Benito Mussolini.
In an interview published Friday in the British magazine The Spectator, Bannon praised the fascist strongman's "virility" and "fashion sense," calling him a "guy's guy."
"He was clearly loved by women. He was a guyโs guy. He has all that virility," Bannon said. "He also had amazing fashion sense, right, that whole thing with the uniforms. Iโm fascinated by Mussolini."
Bannon, who is touring Europe, has faced accusations in the U.S. of promoting racist and fascist politics, though he has identified himself as a populist. He told The Spectator that "fascism" was a term used to smear populism.
He also insisted that the two โ populism and fascism โ "are not even related."
@Deleted User Have you looked into Evola?
THE END (Accompanied by the science a wonderful poem to finalize the main message of the book in an astute elegant fashion.)
@Banjod i heard of that from jan irvin. He now claims the books author is fraudulent and talks about an ancient christian rusian pangea the history of which has been destroyed
I know jan too his guest quality has diminished (all jews)
but I appreciate his anti psychedelic stance, and pro family stance
he used to be a jack herrer friend and psychonaut
but grew really skeptic about it later on
as have many other ex droogies
they all realized its a government scam
@My body is amazing it would be too old for that to be real
?
or what exactly do you mean?
where would it be?
For some reason I am hard pressed to find a video with the name of the country. But it was on ancient maps spanning the entire landmass of russia and asia. I believe he was researching Anatole Fomenko's book series History Fact or Fiction around that time maybe a couple years ago now. Maybe I can find a link later.
you basically mean a country?
how long ago would it be?
Yeah I think maybe around 1200
1200 bc?
Ad
mongol empire?
I think it had "-teria" at the end of the name. Yes it was the theory that the mongolian empire was the first chriatian nation and spanned the entire landmass.
Mongolian will help me think of it
