^ that couldn't be more true. I get upset at how much money we spend to help black people in America. I think we'd all be much better off if we dedicated our resources to people who have a much higher likelihood of success. We'd 1) spend less and 2) get a larger return on our (relatively small) investment. That is a win for everyone, especially tax payers. With the money we save we could spend it on so many more useful things or just pay down the $20 trillion in debt we owe

I was just casually looking up Mencken since he's one of the more interesting Nietzschean scholars and I had no idea he was so based. I'll have to pick up some of his works. He was more of a journalist and cultural critic so I hadn't considered looking into what he'd written until now.

@Jacob It is rather dense but overall it is rather great. A lot of great insight into various topics. The one he spends the most time on his talking about the mind of the antifa of his day.

Finally started reading a lil of The Poetic Edda lastnight. Actually decided to try my hand at doing 1 personal reading of 1st verse video,just to see what others think. Have been trying to upload all night with constant problems,so i dont know.. anyways really enjoying it.
And have "Why We Fight" on the stack to read next. Need to go back and start over White Identity too. Was reading e version of Culture of Critique but was getting too draining after awhile so may come back to again later.. Enjoying the Edda though for now

Interesting quote in this book from Nikolai Bukharin, one of the leading early Bolsheviks, on the assumptions underlying the goals of leftism. He said, "Plasticity of the organism is the silent theoretical premise of our course of action. If we were to take the point of view that racial and national characteristics were so great that it would take thousands of years to change them, then, naturally, all our work would be absurd."

That's fascinating! Changing one premise shifted an entire civilization. Where'd you find this gem? :)

I'm reading the book for a class on the history of the Soviet Union, if you just search "Everyday Stalinism" on Amazon I'm sure you can find it. It does a really good job providing an understanding of all the contraditictions in the Soviet system and how those contradictions impacted the lives of Russians in the 1930s. It's a very mainstream work but I would reccomend it if you're interested in the period.
