@fgtveassassin well, the first problem is that you're looking at associate's degrees
True
is the category you're looking at even accounting?
There is no accounting option, I'm on business
ya I wasn't sure what accounting would fall under either
My area surprisingly has a median income of 61k for accountants, that doesn't break it down based on degree though
Pretty much at over 100k for the 90th percentile incomes for the whole state
@Jacob I donโt think one petroleum engineer is going to have the same effect as a million unskilled workers. And I am part Norwegian so I know a little about the culture. At any rate Iโm not really serious (atm)
Well, one person never really has an impact
Entry level for my city with a BA is average 50k
My degree at my school is only $49,000 after one year
which is pretty low for computer science
Lookin pretty cozy post college if I stick my work and don't mess it up
Even after 6 years graduates of my school don't catch up to UW graduates after 1 year
I don't personally care that much, but my mom thinks I'm gonna be super rich after I graduate ๐ฌ
Any IE members in the Cloverdale CA area? Iโm in Cloverdale until Sunday
That new article about the Utah action gave Patrick a decent platform.. I'm glad someone published our viewpoint for once vs the normal rhetoric.
Utah action got a lot of press great success
Poast before and after Trump
Does anyone know how to find cheaper car insurance? Cheapest I found so far is $94 a month
If I was a boomer I wouldn't need cheaper car insurance
The reason it's expensive is because I'm a very inexperienced driver
You only technically need liability
Just hope you don't hit anyone else
I know
$94 is the cheapest I've found for the state minimum
Oh wow
I think mine is only $65 a month, it could have been cheaper but I didn't have proof of how many/how long driving lessons I had
lol they ask for that?
They didn't really ask for it, more so it was offered
I'm not one of those rich kids who got one at 16 lol
I need to eventually get my own car, I'm really lucky my dad can use my grandmothers' pretty often but his car is in bad shape and he's put so much money into it he's done fixing things unless its dire
Even if it was something dire, he'd probably just say F it and throw the thing out and look for a new one
you have insurance but you don't have a car?
I'm on my parent's insurance
oh
I guess I would have been screwed if I crashed one of my parents' cars then
not that they ever let me drive them alone lol
I didn't even get my license until I was 18
@Jacob you can scoop a decent, safe and reliable (ish) car for under 2k if you look hard enough.
@fgtveassassin lmao I got mine even later
@Papa Pizzagate I already have an offer for 500
from an IE member who I trust a decent amount and who can help me work on it
my finances are too screwed right now to buy anything over 500
Only thing about getting a cheap car is it'll probably nickel and dime you to the point you might as well have shelled out the extra 2-3k
but I'm tired of breaking my back to buy groceries
Bike with a basket
Bike and use coupons
Ibotta and other apps are great
My point was less about your specific vehicle and more about "rich kids who got a car at 16". You hardly have to be "rich" to afford a reliable beater.
that's barely gonna save me any time, I have to spend money on the bike and basket, I still can only take what fits into a backpack, and I would only have access to whichever stores are close by @fgtveassassin
@The Eternal Anglo I guarantee you, I'm already using any discount I can get
I'll eat expired food off the clearance rack
@Papa Pizzagate I guess. Though I imagine your parents would still have to help you a lot with the cost at that age.
I'll stand by my earlier advice
Buy 80 liter ruck
what does "ruck" mean?
backpack
haha I'm trying *not* to continue wrecking my back
I already have a good offer for a car, that's not an issue
Dec 2016 vs February 2019
@Jacob if you work 20 hours a week for 6 mos for $5 an hour as a 16 year old you can easily afford a car, insurance and gas for a year.
wait a second did @Nemets just suggest me to but a car without doors? lmao
He's recommending an R or S title.
huh, I guess you're right
I personally wouldn't have found it worth it at that age to get a job just to spend it all on a car, but I mean I guess it depends what your priorities are
Jeeps sometimes have no doors
@Papa Pizzagate niBBa literally said "you can remove the doors if they don't close" ๐ ๐ ๐
lmao I already said I already have an offer
500 for something that actually runs and the person selling it can help me fix it is as good as I'll get
I know nothing about cars so I'm definitely not getting something out of a junkyard
@Jacob Cars are not expensive if decently maintained, and depending on what car you're buying with what issues. It can vary. Good driving practice can save you a lot on gas, and using discounts or going to the junk yard to buy parts will also save you a lot of money for repair
Generally however, if your choice is primarily based on money conservation instead of convenience, I would say a bike is still far cheaper than buying the cheapest car, due to maintenance and gas. IMO. If your travels will be equal regardless of using a bike, or vehicle, I would say bike.
But cars are also convenient
@The Eternal Anglo Can't advocate that.
If he grew up driving a two-stroke around his property, that'd be one thing
but young homie has never even put his hands on a steering wheel.
There is always a start somewhere my mans. I understand
the benefit of a bike would be literally zero
it's probably a bigger hassle than just using the bus
@The Eternal Anglo No worries. We're talking past each other, I think...
Howdy friends
We're probably on the same page.
@Isabella Locke-MT oh hey you came just in time for a heated debate about bikes and cars
You definitely need a bike
I mean I have one
I left it at my dad's house because it's useless lol
I meant motorcycle
These pics aren't posted anywhere else BTW
Undoxxable
@Valaska ohhhhhhhhhh ya I was talking about getting a motorcycle license with another IE member
How are things going up your way Isabella
because he has an extra motorcycle
and we could go on a postering tour
Nights are exhausting but that's to be expected
How about you?
Doing well. The snow is keeping me indoors
We got a little snow
We got dumped on
I know I'm late, but what Patrick describes a conservative seems to be what I thought was NRx
Am I wrong?
In <#497878998949429249>
I had school cancelled two days
Due to weather?
@Distracted Conservatism used to be reactionary.
Right
no longer
Sad!
so no, you're not wrong :^)
You have been visited by the baby of Doxxing Invisibility
You will be blessed with 90 days of dox invincibility... but only if you reply: "Sleep tight star child"
Lol
Modern conservatism consists of free-market fundamentalism, surrendering on all social issues except abortion at times, and foreign intervention for "democracy" and Israel.
Idk where the "conserving" is in the that
Indeed
that article linked in <#497878998949429249> outlines it well.
Sleep tight star child
Thanks @Distracted you too
I'll give it more of a read @Papa Pizzagate
@Distracted Your instincts are ๐ฏ
It's been a minute since I read it myself. IMO besides a backbone or cohesive platform (lol) the GOP's biggest shortcoming is her inability to brand or frame issues properly
inability or lack of intent to
Press F for my right (wing) headphone. Dire omen.
The GOP has no serious/well-thought out stance on many hot-button issues and that's concerning if someone wants to do political activism for a Republican candidate.
I would have a hard time campaigning and volunteering for tepid candidates from a treacherous and surrender prone party. I am not telling anyone else to not help the GOP. Do especially help if there is a more nationalist primary challenger. But if you're stuck with entrenched cucks that refuse to stand up to cultural marxists, maybe money and time is better spent on Identitarian and other causes
Luckily, Josh Hawley, newly-elected Senator from Missouri, didn't vote for this dumb bill, which fortunately makes me not regret campaigning for him.
It's hard where I'm at to do IE activism because not a lot of members are in my area. Also, not to criticize banners drops/usual activism, but I'd prefer to get to talk to people, explain the issues, and try and convince them, as I feel comfortable doing that. But I don't think I'll be going door-to-door handing out pamphlets about white demographic decline anytime soon.
@NiceGuy I believe we have a few MO members, I think it's valuable also just to meet and build friendships with members. It's part of building our better society
@ThisIsChris And I hope to do a meet-up and do activism. Problem is with school and sometimes work take up time, and I'd have to drive at least 2 hours to get to any event. The summertime may be a good time for a MO event, at least for my availability.
MO ftw
@NiceGuy let's get you in touch with a local coordinator and find who's reasonably close
@ThisIsChris That would be great. I'm in the regional server but I don't think Missouri has a coordinator, though I may be wrong.
@NiceGuy what state(s) outside missouri are you closest to?
@ThisIsChris Very close to Illinois
Perfect!
I wonder if @AltRightMick can help you out here to let you know who is close by that he knows of. @AltRightMick is our Illinois coordinator. He's not on-line at the moment but should see this message when he comes back on. @NiceGuy
Great!
Thanks for bringing it up @NiceGuy , we try our best to get our members connected. Our motivation for the pledge program was to have a first step in getting people integrated but there's always going to be more steps.
@ThisIsChris Well I joined back in June but I've haven't down a good job at connecting with people regionally. This was partially due to working on a political campaign since May going door-knocking 2-4 times a week in the summer, but also my lack of effort. But electoral politics are not the full answer, as wee all know; more needs to be done outside of getting more guys with Rs next to their name in office.
Yeah absolutely. Politics is downstream from culture, and reasoning is downstream from values. A network of fraternal relationships does wonders for happiness too (it has for me at least).
Republicans have abandoned any real stand on social issues. This means they have to somehow be able to convince a new generation of voters to be economic avtistes. Which is not going to work because most people pick a political party like they pick a football team anyways.
And hell yeah just reset my sleep schedule to Bronze Age sneak attack hours.
Lmfao the first 5 mins of this vid are the best neg of Candace Owens I could ever ask for.
Ari Shaffir stand up was funny.
Goooooooooood morning Evropa!
Reminder to keep your personal social media devoid of dissident right content
Good morning IE
Good morning brilliant gentlemen! <:deye:359010025223618570>
Good morning I.E
What are you great white folks doing this Saturday?
Hitting the books at le trendy coffee shop
Lol its only White people out rn
Haha just passed a farmers market thought the same thing
Oh hell yeah now its raining. They are gonna stay inside even longer now.
Why does it feel like this is the movie Omega man where they only come out at night ๐๐๐
The Starbucks near me is always full of college girls and homeless black people.
๐ถ one of these things is not like the other ๐ถ
The duality of that could not be more dramatic
Mornin
So what are we planning to do about this @everyone
Just scrolling through my morning feed, and this shared post pops up in a normie anti-communist group.
Of course the leftist lunatics talk about razors behind the stickers, while the group members defensively ask "how is this a hate group?"
Nice to see us gaining the favor of normies
>populations which display a high degree of anti-semitic animus
Gamers?
@Perihelion - CA Gamers are truly the most oppressed minority
Came out yesterday
@Valaska valah i didn't realize they were the same incident.
Very nice
Lol these people manage to contradict themselves at an impressive level
โStolen land but no bordersโ
โAnarchist but weโre a federation not a collectiveโ
Obviously not direct quotes but hilarious
Iโm in northern Cali and this is the second car I see with the State of Jefferson โs Seal ๐
Any victory in history by whites is theft in their eyes and any victory by their people is just/legitimate.
World history 2019
Did this conflict result in Europeans defeating non Europeans?
Yes: Theft
No: Victory
Wait so what is the scale of Trump the Traitorโs amnesty?
A friend on facebook was going off on how Trump was "populist" . I started grilling him to justify how democracy could be good but populism bad.
Haha not to mention these are Aztecs claiming rights to North America, which is well beyond their borders at any point
Or how personality cults could be bad while that was the entire premise of democracy
We should probably just return any part of the US that used to be part of Mexico back to it
@Grayson Welcome to our State of Jefferson. DM me if you will be up here for awhile. Weโve got guys all around here.
Its amazing how the Left will tactically employ the blood and soil argument for Native Americans but then say anybody can be English or German ect
@Sam Anderson that was one of the first โwait somethingโs not rightโ feelings for me.
Now, itโs actually a pretty useful argument to use in the inverse. โAnyone can be British!!!โ
โReally? How about me- could I be Korean? Could I be Navajo?โ
*silence*
Or even the trope from when I was a Conservative โI was born here so my ethnicity is Native Americanโ
If anyone can be English or German youโd still get people wanting to differentiate by saying โwhite Germanโ
What do you guys say to evangelicals who use the biblical passage about Israel to justify their undying support for it? I tried talking to one that I know but all she would say is that no matter what, she would support Israel because the Bible says to.
@OttoVonBismarck depends how old the evangelical is. In my opinion going against an older evangelical in a bible quoting match can be fruitless unless you are a pro. Check out pastor Steven Anderson if you need some Protestant redpills.
Sheโs 29
My argument is that the Bible says you should support their right to exist as a nation, not that you need to support their political machinations
But it usually falls on deaf ears
@Asatru Artist - MD I need to use that line, that's good. My wife and I still have the same arguments... cultural oppression, magic soil, etc
โI will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessedโ (Genesis 12:3).
There's an easy solution. That part of the Bible was a typo. It actually said we must support the Italians, not the Israelites
Based on the context heโs clearly talking about Israel. From my point of view, it means the sons of Abraham, not the modern state of Israel
Bring back the Italian-American Anti-Defamation League
Meaning everyone of the faith
But this just doesnโt register
Cue nazi name calling
I made it all the way to the bike park like an hour outside of town just to find out I FORGOT MY HELMET
High key mad, tbh
Just mentions how God made the new covenant BECAUSE of Jewish revolt against God... throughout their entire history.
Jesus didn't give his church to Jews, he gave it to Europeans.
It irritates me because evangelicals apparently donโt care that Jews donโt feel the same way about them
I was talking to a Jewish classmate and he said he thinks the New Testament is about as important as an airline brochure
?
Literally called them the children of Satan.
Where
I think he was saying that everyone is influenced to a small degree by Satan, not that all Jews are satanic.
Revelation 3:9 but I'll leave the religious stuff at that
Dang it I missed the religious discussion
Of the week
Abrahams actually name was anthony and he made the covenant with the big man upstairs to protect the boot
โTake no other capos before meโ
You see these two guys, Vinnie and Paulie getting sent to da big house with me?
Real tough guys here
Comedian I saw last night was Jewish and he was dropping some tasty insider info on Jewish identity and customs. I was very surprised.
Literally went on a tangent about the Kabbalah. Wild stuff.
Our guy subverting Jews lol
Isn't there a stereotype about jews constantly bragging/joking about how weird and quirky they are?
That was a [[[my fellow jew]]]
If it was in LA im sure Ari thought he was in a safe spot where everybody was a philosemite
@DeusVolk so was I #redpilled
Yeah, you definitely were, lmao.
@Kingfish You may be right, I don't know enough about Jewish comedy to know exactly what their acceptable framework of self awareness is but some of it was pretty blatant.
They just feel like theyโve won so theyโre monologuing now like a Disney villain
Why do they act that way. Seriously they are scary
Dude they're just blatant about it. They're high on their own supply
Their zeal to maim anyone who isn't beholden to their privilege is scary
I got the impression Ari really isn't a huge fan of his people. He definitely put a lot out there to pique any interested parties.
I could be wrong.
Talking about inbreeding, the race/religion lack of distinction, their collective "look," etc. If that's new to you it's probably enough to get you researching.
Self deprecating Jew is definitely a thing
It was ari Shaffir you saw last night?
Hell yeah
@ThisIsChris They're genetically prone to become Schizophrenic. If it would be weird if they *didnt* be at least a little Schizophrenic
Thatโs cool he did that โback to Africaโ stunt haha. The amazing racist
I saw a Jewish comedian who opened for Theo von who was self deprecating too
That's the ploy
They do a shuck and jive to disarm the goyim
It wasnโt deprecating as a Jew tho. It was like woe is me Iโm pathetic. I didnโt like it I saw through it
This was a great review of your night gents. I have thoroughly enjoyed the thread. Has anyone watched the age of rage?
