@Kingfish Lincoln also originally planned on sending the slaves back to Africa but his death prevented that
Yeah I think the best case scenario would have been Lincoln living to see through whatever he had planned
Lincoln has been often described as a tyrant for a reason, but I suppose thatโs mainly due to his Caesarian style
He was in complete control of the nation and had the power necessary to positively bypass congress
I think like Caesar, tyrant is certainly a title you can accuse him of
But how accurate it is will change from who you ask
Many will argue however that his strong measures were needed to keep together the nation
But thatโs neither here nor there
I personally subscribe to that belief.
For better or worse
As do I.
He did what he felt necessary
I think that America is more than a government though
It was a tragedy for everyone
And that such a view may be a bit mistaken
Both sides were Americans
With the Confederate side being more along the lines of what the Founding Fathers intended regarding small government and states rights
I actually would agree. I believe the confederates absolutely had a more literalist view of what the founders intended
The Founders were not unified in their views, to be fair.
@The Eternal Anglo We arent a democracy but a constitutional republic ๐
I think that they had a culture deeply rooted in a system that was beginning to trail behind and the rift created irreconcilable differences
Never forget that universal suffrage wasnโt a thing. We did republicanism *right*
Jackson did one thing wrong
It was a mutual fight to determine just what this nation was
And one side won
@Kingfish That breaks my heart actually but itโs true
The civil war was awful
Iโm sympathetic to the idealism of it
I really am
But as a Pennsylvanian with family who fought for the union, I firmly stand on my side of the line haha
I donโt have any ancestry or ethnic ties to the southern society and being from an Italian Catholic background I understandably canโt really say Iโd side with the south. But like I said I understand the idealism and respect the will of those who fought for what they believed to be right
For better or worse
@DixieBoy76 - KY I have a ancestor that fought for the union as well in Oklahoma
When he came home for his wife to give birth he was killed by bushwackers
Iโd highly recommend doing a family tree and trying to go back as far as possible/meeting family members you never really knew you had, even if itโs just online. It gave me a big sense of where I came from and my role in carrying the torch. I think itโs an enjoyable hobby as well, good thing you can share if your parents and grandparents.
@Rick Flair The furthest back Iโve gotten is the 1790โs
I was able to get back to the late 1700s in Italy
traced one side of my family back to 1280AD in the HRE
@Lawrence of Eurabia How is that possible
@Rick Flair that's a great idea. Even though we're a young nation American identity is so important
HRE and Church kept good records
@Rick Flair would you recommend using Ancestry or other means?
Yea some church records go back 1600ish
@The Eternal Anglo I recommend Ancestry
23andMe is known to add โsurprisesโ.
They were important people in the HRE from what I've gathered, but that side came to America in 1752 or 1751(cant remember)
obviously they couldn't have been royalty since they left
My 23 and me canโt decide if my small Balkan percentage is Albanian or greek. It keeps changing
I used 23 and me to connect with a cousin who had a a tree already (maternal grandma) for my paternal grandma, I got lucky. Basically 100 or so people moved from one village in Germany to a town in Illinois and one of he descendants had a tree online. Youโd be surprised what you can dig up online though
Btw 23 and me updated some features last week
Tfw banished from the pledge hall
More accurate, can also identify regions in each country your dna is found in, the data it gave me agrees to information I have on my trees
Iโm born from the family line of the goddess Venus
I've traced a few sides back to Scotland and England, but only can get as far as the first guy to move here
Man you guys got shafted
I'm pure Hyperborean
Meier was a name of lower royalty in Prussia
My great uncle is actually lord kromdor the devourer of galaxies
Not sure if that would be my family or not
I'm actually the Prince of Prussia
@Lawrence of Eurabia Congrats. The polish half or the Russian half?๐
All my ancestors were peat farmers
the no half
Iโm the prince of Persia
Every single one
@Kingfishbased
I'm descended from German silk weavers, some Prussians, and an English Master Mariner
my family used to have a large ranch but it was lost in the depression
My ancestors shoveled muck, farmed hemp, were sons of harris, and were molters
A lot of sacrifices were made down the line so each and every one of us could be here. Helps motivate me
(Peterson is asked a question.) โMore recently what has gone wrong with the right?โ
โWell where? Itโs threatening to go too far in identitarian Europe, thatโs for sure.โ
Haven't watched it yet but transcript sounds good.
My great grand mother moved from Ireland in the 1930s and my great grandpa moved from Germany around the same time, probably after the war to avoid the allied war trials. I wish I knew more about them.
my great grandfather fought in the pacific
My great great grandpa was drafted into WW2 at the age of 55 I have the draft card
55!!!
@DixieBoy76 - KY Based! He must have been an Officer
My great uncle was born in Argentina and fought n the eastern front
My Oma says he was studying in Germany then was drafted
my great grandfather brought back a japanese sword, officers pistol, and the heads of a few people
@โกClarkโก so many young men were drafted in those times, it's quite heart breaking what they came back to in some cases
@Lawrence of Eurabia nice, grandpa of mine brought back two Japanese swords from iwo. He was artilery
@The Eternal Anglo he was captured
mine was an infantry officer, fought in Kwajalein where he was shot in the hip by a sniper and when he healed up he fought in Saipan
@Lawrence of Eurabia crazy. I used to always wish my grandpa was infantry
i never knew the army was involved in the pacific until i researched my gramps
used to think it was all marines
Yah I believe before the marines
My grandpa on my dadโs side was in the army in the 20โs
He got dishonorably discharged tho lol
I believe my great grandpa was a scientist for the Army back then
my grandfather was in the Coast Guard for 21 years, he joined before Vietnam broke out
was a dental technician, a cop, a rescue diver, and all sorts of stuff
Speaking of the military
Our uniforms havenโt looked *cool* since Korea
Americans had war with 3 different Asians in 30 years
my other gramps was a dope smoking hippie who got drafted
Especially the really modern ones
Theyโre hideous
Fake news
They look legit
Pinks and Greens come out this summer for army
If you want to look like a ragamuffin maybe
@Lawrence of Eurabia yes Iโm very excited
Space force armor soon
Depends, I like the old uniforms for sure, old airforce blues are peak based
My ancestors were all coal miners with a few farmers mixed in.
Iโm going to get a book with the illustrated uniforms of the US army from 1776 to 1870โs
we should wear animal furs and old beat up helmets for the next uniform
Dude I love old, historical Americana it's so rad
Whatever happened to style *sigh*
We spend billions on new camo designs but put no effort into prevention of Chinese spies
I was watching boardwalk empire with my dad and I loved the way they dressed back then too
we have the south koreans make our camo as well
Chinese wear our camo designs now.. LMFAO
We China now bois
where do you think we buy ours
Xi's the man
Starbucks is a den of homeless losers now...F
Nah technically we had war with 4 different Asians in a 20 year span. 1945-1965, you got Japan, Korea (+Chinese troops) and Vietnam
it would be awful to live in china
Holy shit fellas. Remember the chubby โgingers have soulsโ kid?
Haha!! Wasn't he trans at one point??
He was fat like 3 months ago wtf
He's a troll.
Heโs th best troll
And always in character.
The dude never breaks it
Hereโs fashion, lads
*tips*
@Nemets Interesting. Seems like a lot of empty verbatim however. I should read it some time.
Weird flex, but okay
And itโs a *real* fedora, al Capone style. I only wear it with my suit
๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
Y'all just goin ta scroll by without sayin howdy??
who owns a suit?
Uh
camouflage gang
Dixieboy out here looking the kinda homie to say "indubitably my fair Watson"
>not wearing a canvas anorak that freezes into ice armor.
@Nemets Ah. That makes more sense, I was wondering why half that page was about, "Dreams." Not bad
@DixieBoy76 - KY my dude nothing but respect but allow me to inform you that not even Italians dare try to where a fedora "Capone" style anymore
>not wearing non-Newtonian fluid you have to constantly punch to keep solid
@The Eternal Anglo very Hyperborean
Cornstarch garments
carhartt gang
I got my money on coppercab beating Gavin
@Lawrence of Eurabia I prefer Arborwears
But Carhartt is good too
Dude jesus christ. That version of copper cab took the steroid pill haha
@DixieBoy76 - KY I appreciate what your doing but bro, you canโt be wearing a fedora
https://thehill.com/homenews/house/427364-some-dems-float-idea-of-primary-challenge-for-ocasio-cortez
...and here comes the establishment counter-attack
@DixieBoy76 - KY youre sayng you donโt take the 14 serious by wearing a fedora
They'll have to find a Neoliberal Puerto Rican. She won because her district browned.
Iโm sure they can find one
Checking into <#481597551272001546> aaaaand weโre talking about copper cab lol
@โกClarkโก I think thatโs a little excessive. I only wear it on special occasions.
I dress normally 99% of the time
Like I wore it when I went to see the president speak
@DixieBoy76 - KY gotcha, still Iโm just messing
<:nervous:359009898115104770>
It could be seen as an antisocial behavior though. And Iโm aware of that so I donโt
I dress normally
wearing hats prevents your hair from turning blond in the sunlight
I usually just wear ballcaps
I have been feeling white pilled lately (mostly for personal reasons), but Carlson vs Kirk is the gift that keeps giving
Kirk effectively does the "I'm in charge here" before Tucker's Banepost "do you feel in charge?"
The thing with fashion is old styles, once out, never return unless for some irony fashion
tf is irony
Personally I wish we could go back to 1690s French high fashion
irony is huge in fashion rn
irony is a sign of just how boring people really are
@Wood-Ape - OK/MN can you link to the tucker/Kirk thing?
Iโm not gonna defend the fedora but I will point out that men in America stopped wearing hats around 1960, which is when everything really started going to hell
coincidence? *I think not*
36:35 lol
@Alex Kolchak - NY *x files theme starts playing*
Tucker: "maybe you should start to think of your country a little more like your family" [crowd erupts]
Kirk "nooo! nooooo! you shouldn't! noo!"
๐๐๐
๐๐๐
My girl looking fab
Your girl? Good luck pal
I see the birth control goggles are in full effect on AOC
You're a thousand miles away
This is why the Northwestfront idea has so much potential
resist the temptress, Fish
Iโll make it happen.
not mentioned is WA having a rather bad Measles outbreak
Outside of Portland, And the Seattle area, WA and OR are very white
I wonder why though...
Seattle and the surrounding area have only had huge spikes in immigration, illegal and otherwise and MYSTERIOUSLY a measles outbreak hits
@Wood-Ape - OK/MN that is literally ๐ฅ from Tucker, can't believe I'm only seeing this now
He mentions this in his book
Tucker covers it well in his book
And I've seen it mentioned _many_ times in my personal experience
oh shit beat me to it
GOTCHA FISH
HA
"They tell coal and steel workers LEARN TO CODE, then hire indians anyway"
this book as me fired up
been listening to it the past two days
Do not get me started, Fish. You're going to make me go full labor activist
Way ahead of you
@Kingfish is that ship of fools on audiobook?
yep!
Narrated by the man himself
Alright then got my new work out track
I went very much so into my old labor activist mindset when I ran into the people saying, "just move, just go to college, just do X, Y, and Z"
Hell yeah
and every time the feeling is, "I had to deal with a bad system, so you have to deal with one that's even worse because _fuck you_ kid"
I've gone through many iterations of political theory but I've always been very pro labor through it all. So to see Tucker promoting a synthesis of social conservatism and populist/labor movement economic policy really makes me glad to see
I made the mistake of going back into my syndicalist/corporatist material and I forcing myself to not start evangelizing
"Do you have a minute to hear about the alternative to capitalism?"
excuse me sir do you have a minute to discuss how **thirdworldimmigrationisanelitistplottooppresstheworkingclassfurtheranddestroythemiddleclassentirely**
we are currently in the โlook how black I amโ phase of Kamala Harrisโ campaign
itโs not gonna improve from here
also like my spicy comment on that post #selfpromotion
Oh, I also ran into this piece of information: the SD state legislature is apparently putting some citizenship test requirement for people wanting to be admitted to state colleges
(I'm still looking it, but that's the gist of what I've been told. Until I know more I can't really say anything beyond, "_why wouldn't_ you do that?")
There are people who're trying to get an email campaign going to stop that from happening, however.
Not sure if that's what happened to the previous legislation I saw which would've asked for citizenship status of applicants to SD state colleges... but I feel like it might be that way.
there is a passed-out homeless guy in the background of the Harris-Abrams staged candid pic
it's rather symbolic
the universe has a sense of humor
@Alex Kolchak - NY that's pretty interesting they are picking Abrams. She is the embodiment of the globalist "hold elections until you get the correct results" policy
I think itโs more that the left hyped her up as the Empowered Black Womyn Politician and now they gotta get as much mileage out of her as possible, even though she lost the race
There is a broader campaign to encourage do overs. They did it in Florida and California this year too. It was very successful in CA.
"do overs", meaning they didn't get the result they wanted, so they "found" new ballots. <:really:453005408064241674>
Yep
Speaking of do overs, I wonder when "Brexit" 2.0 will happen?
Like when Fox called the vote in CA hours before the final tally and it turned out it likely swayed five to ten congressional races.
They had Fox call it because people think Fox is a "conservative" outlet and wouldn't deliberately throw the vote.
The only thing good about Fox is Tucker, but we all know that.
Favorite tweet of the day. Some guy chatting with Patrick.
โitโs afraidโ
@micbwilli I would love to see the chain of conversation they were having.
You should follow Pat's Twitter

You know who I miss? Filthy frank. That guy was super funny
He's a pop singer now.
He makes weird, slow xanax music now right?
haha yeah, kinda
it's not terrible, but it's not for me.
its pretty damn close to terrible
incredibly boring
Yeah I heard a song by him once and I was like meh...it's cool I guess
meh is a good description
