Pack it up, everybody.
So not a single Congress person even on the gop side would defend nationalism
Unbelievable
To be fair, in their minds thatโs not what they thought they were rebuking. Language is very important.
@StevePines -WA I mean I agree with you that it suck, but imagine defending "white nationalism" as a federal official in this climate
thats the same logic as "i wont vote because my vote isnt going to matter anyways" and then nobody votes
@Jacob I agree with that, I was looking at it more as them wasting their time by even taking this vote instead of doing something, literally just a virtue signal vote
If you were to take "white supremacy" to a lot of people in the dissident right they would disavow. I don't understand why he said that. King should ask Patrick for advice.
i just skimmed through the resolution, its pretty preachy
>this climate
>climate is more WN than anything since the seventies
Congressmen have two year shelf life, fresh senators have six. At the rate things are going a fresh senator with balls could display solidarity and spin it well by reelection
what's the take on William Barr for AG?
"Whereas while our country has often fallen short of these ideals, patriotic Americans have sought to form a more perfect Union by rejecting White nationalism and White supremacy, embracing inclusive patriotism, and welcoming immigrants from across the globe who have continuously enriched our Nation;"
i agree that white supremacy is bad optics but come on this is just infuriating
i mean i also dont believe in white supremacy but nationalism is patriotism
again and again
the GOP never learns
if I was a congressman I would probably just abstain
say that it's a meaningless virtue signal vote
but I don't think I would have the balls to vote "no" on condemning white nationalism
it would risk taking me out of power
with the benefit of *slightly* moving the Overton Window
If I was a congressman, I think my main focus would be to just lay low, don't say anything too controversial, and try to get away with passing as much good legislation as possible
I'd introduce immigration bills and make up bullshit post hoc rationalizations for why I support it.
"oh I think we need to cut immigration to reduce overpopulation"
let someone who doesn't have a position to lose do the proselytizing
Far leftists are actually pretty smart and don't fall for huwyte taqqiyya
Note how the wording of the resolution reduces politics to a binary choice between "welcoming immigrants from across the globe" and "white supremacy"
ya but most people aren't far leftists so who cares
My average conservative constituent would be like "oh cool he's stopping us from getting overpopulated"
Just remember 2/3 of Congress attend AIPAC
Yeah, yeah I am sure you would have done so much better
well, my point kind of is opposite
my point is that I probably *wouldn't* have done much better than the guys virtue signalling
๐๐๐๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฝ
I wouldn't go up there and be a hero
Our people need heroes
Too many Congress people just want to lay low and stay in office, I'd rather just have one term and actually get something done
No, we don't need people martyring themselves when there's other ways to make themselves useful
This is how we end up with career congressmen
The boomer anti-racism chicanery/taqiyya isn't aimed at leftists but Nationalists who need permission or cover.
@StevePines -WA That's a valid point. They can't take the lay low stuff *too* far, they have to do *something*.
Waiting for useful congressmen to do useful things....
Any day now
Steve King is more useful in Congress than as a nobody. He needs to be more careful about who he talks to and to not make tactless statements to the media
@TMatthews Ya, exactly. That's why I'm saying we really don't need people martyring themselves when they could be doing something useful. There's no shame in keeping your mouth shut when you have to.
I agree with @Jacob, for now.
The rhetoric from the right should be "democrats are anti-white, anti-family, anti-men, etc" which you can say while claiming to only want equal opportunity. Tucker Carlson does this quite well.
Some of you younger guys may not remember this, but in 2002 the GOP forced their own Senate Majority Leader, Trent Lott from Mississippi, to resign from his leadership position because he had the audacity to say at Senator Strom Thurmondโs 100 year birthday party that had Thurmond won the Presidency in 1948, America wouldnโt have so many problems.
Thurmond ran as a Dixiecrat, which was pro-segregation, but it was obvious that Lott was just praising a 100 year old man whom he had served with in the Congress for decades.
i've never wanted to see the GOP crash and burn so quickly
they intentionally block out youth participation while the left is recruiting in grade school
Yup. The Allsup affair and this cuckSignal vote are related
i'm so pissed i called scalise's office just to complain about their boomer tactics of losing with grace
Without the Goose you Lose
@TMatthews definitely. Tucker sounded believable when he was saying "we don't want identity politics." I almost could remember the time when it was possible to get along with the Coalition of the Alien
The gop sure loves to lose
It is still a good thing we have Trump... but we really have a four/five party system masquerading as two.
Dems: Neoliberals, Progressives, Browns
Repubs: Neocons, and the MAGA/Nationalists
Republican officials have a different idea of winning than we do. For them, winning means keeping their comfy offices in DC. For us, it means helping out people
There is barely any difference between the Neoliberals and Neocons
@Wood-Ape - OK/MN you mispelled "marxists"
DC has become too cushy, I don't believe anyone in politics was meant to be treated as an executive celebrity, they are supposed to be public servants not self servants
@Logan I like "Coalition of the Alien" phrasing much better than the demoralizing "Coalition of the ascendant"
Honestly if there was a way the people could vote to take luxuries away from government I'm sure everyone would be all over it
Direct Democratic referendums are a Pandora box, but it could be nice to lower politician salary or benefits
Brimelow defines it as the historic American nation vs anti-America
Something, government officials become untouchable by the people once they are elected, they don't have to be held accountable to anyone who voted for them unless they want to be reelected
Getting big money out of politics is something that could unite right and left against the establishment
But I'm thinking allong the same lines as taking away benefits from illegals to reduce them coming here
Elections barely hold people accountable. The incumbent wins his primary 99% of the time unless the challenger has a personal fortune to fund attack ads
I wish the left would #metoo McCarthy after this King fiasco
I mean they still take in donations and PAC money, that should be outlawed too
I feel like we agree with the DSA on more economic stuff than we would like to admit lol
my interviewer said there's a fair # of socialists here
if the salary is too low they'll just have more incentive to live off bribes
@Dylan - NY That's correct, we accept many different economic views
thats good, in terms of economics its important to debate
Democracy, or the Klepticratic Kritarchy that calls itself Democracy, blows
sure
as long as it doesn't get divisive debates are fine
I personally think it's not healthy for friends to bottle up their disagreements
Even Damigo said a lot of guys on our side agree with socialist policies in the TYT video
i think security for good, working Americans is important, we all know that economic anxiety is why whites are reproducing slower
I favor a social safety net for whites only.
@Dylan - NY the IE guys that used to be Leftists are really interesting to talk to.
i think most of us are repentant libs of some stripe
any former lefties here?
I was a typical republican before becoming WN
I got here through Free Market slide right
Was a Bernie Bro
Former leftist here
bernie would be so cool if he was pilled
I was a civnat who agreed with Dems economically, I actually registered Democrat <:nervous:359009898115104770> just because of economics like a dummy, I quickly realized I didn't want to be a part of the party who hates me
well i guess he cant be pilled
Enlighten me
I say it for the meme, but I do have lefty economics
@fgtveassassin @Sam Anderson I'm not sure but I'm going to go with let's not continue this line of discussion.
Mkay
Or at least find a more accurate and academic way to talk about it.
Off to the Jiu Jitsu place. College gym is too packed.
Tbh considering itโs history it should be banned as Nat Soc posting is
Not calling anyone out just saying they come from practically the same place
@Jawa this is what I think has been determined in the past.
@NateDahl76 @ThisIsChris what is the canon?
@Logan Canon on what?
NazBol combines two of the most hated ideologies ever. Bad optics, even as a meme
@StevePines -WA Trump calling out the routine lobbying trip to Puerto Rico by 30 dems and 150 lobbyists has been good. One of Trump's best opening moves was his partial ban on the official to lobbyist pipeline. I almost think he should have saved that for later.
@Sam Anderson What about?
Guys who came to IE that used to be Lefties
Yall are pretty interesting
@Logan What were the previous rules on official-lobbyist pipeline?
@Sam Anderson @Jawa @ThisIsChris @Virgil I deleted a couple of comments that fell under rule 4 so this conversation will be a little confusing to read through.
I actually was a Bernie supporter until he lost the primary
I also wasn't big into politics
@StevePines -WA I was the same way, once bernie was out I was almost immediately a big Trump guy
If for no other reason than I hated Hillary
@Sam Anderson I was more of a far left ethonationalist, so I'm probably not the best person to ask tbh
Oops
Deleted the wrong thing
@Logan thank you for addressing this. Very glad we have your help here modding!
I wasn't a trump supporter until he won
Sorry @Logan
@NateDahl76 no problemo amigo
Then in about a year I went from center left to far right, it was a ride and a half
Once you notice certain things you can't ignore them
Side project: reclaim Spanish and "hispanic" for the descendants of the historic Celtiberians and Visigoths.
Conversos not invited.
I took my anger for Congress out at the gym
Had a really productive workout
Well currently am*
@Dylan - NY I'm a former leftie!
Hey friend! What finally caused you to switch?
if indeed it was one final thing
a few things
being told over and over how I have to apologize for white privilege, when I've had a hard life
trump winning
the left name-calling people and saying their ideas were wrong, so I decided to just watch their stuff and judge for myself
but if it was one moment, it was seeing Jared Taylor in a round table on immigration, and thinking who is that well-spoken, intelligent man? and I saw he was a "white nationalist" when I looked him up, and debated with myself about whether to watch him but decided to go ahead
@apronandlace that's a pretty good story of getting off the fence.
Didn't you want to do a podcast about that @Virgil ?
taylor is based yep
in terms of video content and speaking hes basically unmatched imo
Yeah, Taylor got me to consider things I wouldn't have gone for (it took me a while to accept IQ differences and freedom of association) because his content is so high-quality (lots of facts, intelligence, respect for anyone he's debating or being interviewed by)
What do you think is the best way to get through to the other half of whites?
Do we talk affirmative action and white privlidge or go an economic route on outsourcing and immigration?
I think a good strategy is making white advocacy seem like the more virtuous choice. It seems like a common theme in history that white people get very motivated when they think a cause is just.
like, shaming white people and telling them they're unvirtuous works very well against us (e.g., Gandhi's strategy against Britain, the left now)
and we have historically gotten very motivated to do things like abolish slavery, bring civilzation to other continents, etc.
the left is already framing this as a matter of good vs. evil
so unless we are definitely on the side of good, hopefully more than the left, we seem like the evil side
I think we should use a different word than genocide, but use the 2020 census as an argument for self preservation?
That is the foundation of law.
yeah
@JoeDrake We need to be in the habit of describing ourselves as Identitarian instead of WN. Just a tip. ๐
It's not just about labels, though. Identitarian isn't just another word for WN. As Identitarians, we don't just ascribe to a set of beliefs, we take action to show a new way forward that's relatable to our current circumstances. The only world that we can change is the one in which we actually live. There is a clear path to getting our people to understand they are a group with genuine interests and they have a duty to assert them.
For 60 years, white nationalist groups have failed to come up with a clear path to their solution. Identitarianism is different not just because we also focus on culture, shared historic experience, language, etc., but because our vision tells us what we must do _right now_.
@apronandlace I really, really, agree with that sentiment..
I completely agree with your statements, @Evan Thomas . We need that call to action to set forth real change.
@apronandlace Tbh that is part of why I am in IE. I consider myself on the good side. So yeah, your point about making our cause a good vs. evil thing is spot on
Yeah, and identitarianism, particularly when set against globalism, is easy to characterize as virtuous
Some ways identitarianism is virtuous:
All groups of people can follow their destiny (as JT says)
Honoring the ancestors who made your culture or fought to preserve it
Better wages and protections for the poor, elderly, and infirm, when work and benefits stay generally within a group (compared to open borders)
Better civic engagement and cooperation when there is a cohesive culture
Better for the environment (compared to moving people from low-carbon use countries into ones where they will use more carbon)
Preserving unique cultures, cultural diversity (similar to preserving languages or endangered species or subspecies)
Counteracts exploitative nature of global corporations
And Identitarianism also easily explains the behaviors of other groups that aren't of European descent. Basic Trump supporters need to understand that Democrats don't create identity politics, _identity_ creates identity politics. It's an inescapable aspect of tribalism that the Democrat party has simply exploited. And unless we see ourselves as a group and join the trend toward the politics of identity, we'll be easily pushed aside by groups that defend their interests without hesitation.
I couldn't agree more with Great American's assessment.
@Evan Thomas I think that many Trump supporters see identity politics as a form of demagoguery. Similar to how Black politicians tend to use and exploit the identity of Black America to further their own individual interests. Trump supporters and populists see that happening in black community and they expect it to carry over to the European Americans if we embrace our identity. Which may be why they're against identity politics.
Yes. They don't like the brand of identity politics of other communities because it is largely self-serving on the part of their "leaders."
More powerfully, though, is their understanding that we're all in this together and everyone should be proud to be an American, have good values, treat each other well and work hard.
They don't realize that their understanding of America ceases to exist without people of European heritage.
Their very depiction of that kind of America is white and western.
Can't we all just get past this identity thing and embrace our differences? Some people charge interest rates, some people rob liquor stores, this is what makes us GREAT. If you want to MAGA, give your daughter to Tyrone!
@Virgil I think that's true. Many people who would otherwise be on our side say that playing "identity politics" is bad. one possible rebuttal could be to say that each group decides on how to embrace and further its own identity. white people don't need to do it the same way as black people.
Our differences make us the same! BIGOT
@Evan Thomas @apronandlace I think the key to bringing Trump supporters over to European/American Identity politics is convincing them that we're not demagogues or self serving. And we can achieve that by being stable, professional, honest and showing that we take care of our own people. In other words, be an example and a role model that everybody can look up to.
@Virgil I agree completely. It works better if we don't seem like demagogues or self-serving.
I think it helps to universalize when we can (white people have long been fans of universal morality), like Jared Taylor does, and say that we are for identity for all groups, that all peoples should follow their destiny, etc. Survival for all groups. Positive pride for all groups. Respect the unique contributions of all groups. that kind of thing.
Mexican guy at Amren claiming that identitarianism is also better for Mexico

I am V.Balboa and I'm posting in this general channel
@apronandlace Good find, I remember watching that speech on YT, a few years ago. Definitely one of the best Amren speakers in my opinion

Nothing like a good spaghetti dinner on a cold rainy night๐๐
@celticflame Delicious. But why does corn go with spaghetti?
It was just handy, sounded good. Also hubby likes with it. @Rick
Nice. I thought that was just a Minnesota thing (we eat corn with lasagna here).
Sometimes i do Broccoli or other stuff, just depends
Lol,kinda funny since my kids have grown up loving it that way. @Rick
We enjoy it with lasagna too! Haha!
Taught some 7 year old kid ab workouts today before BJJ. Little lad used pretty big words too.
Awww
When he mentioned something being โefficientโ
Hell yeah little man.
Definitely way to go lil man!๐
Taught him the word โretainโ

Really heartwarming stuff
And Im sure we all know the eheh, ethno religious background of that family.
@Sam Anderson go on...
Those damn Russians
For example, Mortimer Sackler, very Russian name.
Go on...
All I did was read their newspapers?
No, you did hate facts.
oh right yeah
Reality is too hateful.
Hater.
Reality needs its own SPLC article
We're in it. Walking through a giant cloud of words.
This times of Israel article really lays it out.
Allsup is a savage today
I'm about to ask Vincent James on his live stream what he thinks of IE. BE THERE in 5 mins.
He already did a video featuring Patrick. But yeah man do it.
getting into his discord
Just did it. Mif http get a few applications for the 10 I fired off for the question.
Dude where's our hike video from DTR?
Might get*
@celticflame Iโve been to Carcassonne actually! It was a neat trip. I was very young but I remember it. Neat place.
Good work @Johnny B. Populus!
Right On! @Grayson about 10-15 yrs ago my Aunt Monique, Uncle Danny & Dad went on a trip to Europe and had a blast. I could be wrong but believe that was from the castle they stayed at & had a blast cheering folks on etc. Could be wrong but I know was 1 of those.
@Reinhard Wolff Thanks much, I do what I can.
Cool
Red Elephants and Nick Fuentes are solid recruitment grounds.
Yea, Nick and Red Elephants are probably two of my favorite channels along with the Darkstream

I would cut IAus some slack on that quote. The point of the quote is a famous enemy of that war (among the least ideological and most skilled of them, really) praising NZ and AU with grudging respect.
It is like the apocryphal Yamamoto quote displayed by NRA members saying invading America is foolish because there is a hunter behind every blade of grass. Using that quote doesn't make you an Imperial Japan sympathizer.
>TFW your enemy respects you.
NPC meme lives!
I am going to assume that's Photoshop. I can actually see Maher having that done himself. He is a sleazy, bitter, awful goblin of a man, but he has never been above self depreciation in his humor.
Nah its real. Saw a video on Twitter of a guy on top of the sign moving the NPC face into place.
Aww man he is so butthurt by this!
It is even funnier because he in particular already somewhat resembles the face
Also good morning to everyone except globalist corporations, journalists, bureaucrats, glow in the darks and perverts.
