On the topic of designer babies, Iโm very torn on that topic. On one hand I can see the benefit of it, if it was used to eradicate genetic abnormalities. On the other hand, Iโm also against the whole โplaying Godโ scenario and have little faith that the system wouldnโt be abused

There is a difference between not having Downs Syndrome and gene editing for stronger muscles or high IQ.
There are absolutely great arguments for crispr, I won't deny. I even agree with some of it - however it's the implications a bit further on that worries me.
