My Dad was blue collar urban and my Mom was isolated rural. She had nine brothers and sisters, all older, so the reunions were full of ancient tales. Our earliest ancestors came over to Virginia in the 1690s and to Georgia in the 1780s. It's all surprisingly well documented.
