But I just feel so pessimistic, lol
Yeah man, I feel you
There is definitely something going on
Many people I know are feeling really bad right now, for a variety of different reasons
could be related to the moon stuff
something spiritual happening

Perhaps this woman will white pill me, or throw me further into the abyss. Lol
lol
I hope you guys acheive happyness, I belive you can do it!
But part of me almost wants to see Punished Blaze: the Man Deinied his GF
Dude
That wouldnt be very good
Trust me
Im on my last straw
I would unironically suggest purchasing a miraculous medallion, or a Benedictine crucifix/medallion and having it blessed by your local priest. I've heard that they can work wonders. @epic
You dont wanna see it
supermoon?
lol
Sounds sappy and stuff.
is that today lol
@donut go outside
oh
brb
But, y'know.
you don't want to miss it
I would've gone outside a while ago, but if I'm honest the blacks down the way seemed a bit too loud and discontent while working on some sedan in their driveway.
these?
Yes those.
@Thomas You're right, that sounds like it could seriously help.
Where is the best place to get them?
I'm not rightly sure. I'd ask your priest.
There's many which can be purchased online.
But they are said (as the names imply) to work wonders over their bearers.
Be SURE,
Im too autistic to buy and get an item blessed by myself
to have at least the benedictine cross blessed by a priest.
Preferably a priest of the Benedictine order.
fuckfuck its cold outside
what temp?
46
its windy though
oh lol
i see
Wind chill in Texas is always a killer.
im just in sweatpants and a tshirt so
i was kinda dying
Carrying around a Christian medallion/crucifix sounds comfy.
About a hundred and thirty years ago when folks were driving a herd down the Chisholm Trail, and entire herd of cattle froze to death in the Texas snow.
lol
F
I mean it was something. People had to dig any survivors out.
The death screams of hundreds of cows wailing in the night.
thats scary
I still need to work up the resolve to go to mass alone.
@Thomas any tips for a former non-dom trying to get into SSPX Catholisism?
Hell I myself am slowly converting from Baptism (whoops). But, from what I've studied, it's best to simply find the closest Latin Mass practicing chapel near you, research the dress code, and go accordingly.
And from what I might be able to discern, there's no resolve needed for such a thing. Only a reverence for the hierarchy which God gave us to uphold.
You'll be welcomed.
I went to the SSPX mass nearest me, it's only a 30 min drive, but I didn't really know what to do with my hands, you know
Like bowing before entering the pews, the hand motion thing,
Well, you could, during one of the less busy week days, go and see the father and ask your questions.
Are Catholic churches usually open during the week?
They hold mass, yes.
For exaple, there's a LAtin Mass church called Mater Dei here in Fort Worth,
their entire schedule goes through the week.
That's interesting
I'll look into trying to speak to someone there
Good.
Last question, do you know the process of conversion to Catholicism?
I know obviously not to partake in the Holy Eucharist yet
But, are there other things I should be aware of as a non-Catholic Christian going to SSPX mass?
Well, obviously be very quiet, and very still. If you intend to take women, they must not speak (at all, like at all literal rule of latin mass) and they must to an extent, be veiled. Not fully, just a gentle cloth covering the top of their heads.
You're (if I'm not mistaken) also expected to learn specific prayers, ideally the Latin ones,
but I think they've shfited that in the last centuries.
ALSO,
this is a personal hypothesis, but, one nonetheless grounded in reality.
If you are to get your Benedictine crucifix blessed, then it would be better for you to do it from a priest (who is) or a member of the Benedictine order as it was entirely exclusively able to be blessed by members of the Benedictine order up until about the sixties or so.
If you can have that, you'll have the genuine article.
Folks say that the origin of the blessing is no longe rimportant,
but I don't believe that.
@Thomas Thanks a ton, man, that really helps!
I'm glad I can provide any insight with the little scrape of knowledge I've gained looking into the issue.
I'll be sure to follow your instruction, and I'll let you know how it goes
It really is a beautiful and holy order.
