I made a bet with a few friends and in order to win I need to raise my maximum 1 repetition bench press to at least 90 kilograms (198 pounds) . My current best is 75 kilograms (165 pounds). @NovaSoldier it's brutal. Online google searches compare a mile swimming to the cardiovascular equivalent of running 3 miles. Though, swimming wont translate to running longer, as different muscles are at play. But it would increase the amount of red blood cells you create, so your oxygen carrying capacity would increase, which would carry over. Food for thought
