bell curve
@Deleted User and?
that is where all the refutations are
@Deleted User and they're all terrible
Nothing but progressive griping that totally misses the point
but it's gross and racist
And can be disproven with research that has been conducted since the publishing of the bell curve
bad science!
i.e., if you task computers to sort individuals into populations that maximize in-group similarity and minimize out-group similarity, you get standard racial classifications
that many phenotypic clusters are associated with race
that the whole idea that race is about skin color
Nobody hates niggers because they have black skin.
"1) They rely on traditional racial categories, but American definitions of โblackโ and โwhiteโ are social categories based on appearance, not genetics. The One Drop Rule is an American cultural custom, not a genetic finding." -- Different populations have different phenotypic clusters. As with all distinct populations, many phenotypes are associated with other phenotypes.
"2) They insist that IQ testing proves blacks are genetically less intelligent, yet the study was vague in its assertion of which exact gene makes black Americans less intelligent. There was no examination of people with Sub-Saharan African heritage living outside of the United States." -- Because those results are even more abysmal. i.e., 10% of Sub-Saharan blacks have IQs under 50, that there are less Sub-Saharan blacks in the entirety of Africa with IQs over 100 than there are white Americans with IQs over 115+
"3) They insist that IQ is a definitive measure of intelligence, yet IQ testing has been proven to be severely culturally biased - our ancestors would have done very poorly." -- And yet it seems that most Eurasians and even some Latinos can adapt to the test best able to measure g factor, aka innate intelligence, and Africans seem most poorly equipped to handle abstract reasoning because "it's dey culcha". Not a winning refutation.
"4) Furthermore, IQ testing only measures math and verbal skills - it does not account for the vast majority of intelligences identified by multiple intelligences theory." -- "Jamal can throw a football really far, and Karim can spit bars. Where's da IQ test for dat???"
"5) They insist IQ is passed on from parent to child, yet the heritability of IQ has yet to be proven since parents with high IQs usually have an easier time providing intellectually nurturing environments to their children thanks to the economic value our society places on having a high IQ." -- Which is why the conduct twin studies with control groups to account for that very factor. i.e., measuring IQs of identical twins put in the same environment vs. identical twins put in different environments of varying degrees. Heritability takes into consideration environmental differences by the very definition of its calculations.
Verdict: scientifically illiterate progressives flipping backwards to deny reality.
Thinking blacks are just as intelligent as whites is just a meme
Another review thinks that race is a totally meaningless classification (even though you could quantify the social and economic consequences of population replacement based by race to the degree of trillions of dollars, identify genetic clusters by sorting that roughly line up with our understanding of race, etc.); and thinks that g factor doesn't exist (lol we're all the same intelligence)
If you're comfortable with intro stats, intro genetics + evolutionary science, and intro psychology, if you have a few studies under your belt, if you practice your lines a bit, and if you've read the bell curve, then you can BTFO any liberal so hard that they'll combust in public and leave everybody feeling cheated by the mainstream narrative
Fellas we gotta start road tripping around the US with our best friends
facts
True
Gonna be posting pdf dumps
so much natsoc shit
if my school checks this computer I'm going to be on several watchlists
@Deleted User No decline and fall?
@Hektor#9849 I didn't check the contents of the megas
I just copy and pasted from the /pol/ book club thread
@Triple Hernan idk
Siege was bad would not recommend

10/10 would recommend
Oof my book list is 100+ and I've barely been reading lately.
I hope I get to around to Dostoevsky some day.
Do that one it's quick
Dostoevsky is the best writer ever @shinjitsu
did you like Ginsburg translator? all the chepeast dostoevsky books are by Garnette, but other translators have been better to read imo
Hey folks, thank you for the server invite. I make Reading Lists pretty regularly, hopefully you find them useful
@Callaghan I have never read the same book from two translators so I can't say I really know
But that one was Ginsburg and was really good. I've heard everything from the translations change meaning completely, to they don't matter much.
I have a mcduff translation of brothers karamazov I'm reading rn
Read the Bible too guys.
This is the copy i got a while back. It was 6 bucks and doesnโt say who translated it
Off Amazon
@Simon Scola it has to, at the beginning
This is all there is. Then the book starts. The end and back doesnโt day either. Iโm sure it days on the listing on manzon
hmmm odd
does it even have a publisher?
No
Has anyone read Bowling Alone?
Iโll find the link on Amazon
k
Says publisher but no translator.
A couple ones like this on Amazon. Really cheap and just the straight up book, nothing else
bizarre
have you read it?
Not yet
Itโs a short read so Iโll probably sit down one day and read the whole thing.
lol no page numbers even
lol
Jewish Question Reading List
While we're posting reading lists there's always this
http://4chanlit.wikia.com/wiki/Charts
the attached image isn't the only one, there's a couple dozen on there
Yeah sure thing, I'm currently doing the start with the greeks meme more or less. Going to start on the iliad tomorrow
I've been meaning to read the Iliad, there was a pretty good one I saw on Amazon a few days ago that was a great quality hardback with both the Iliad and Odyssey for something like ยฃ10
apparently the robert fagles translation is really good so i went with those, also because i like the way they look, even though the books are overpriced
I try to read books online unless I want them for long term use libgen.io
^libgen is a good site for anyone looking for free pdfs
Oh wait no, just found it, ยฃ17.16, 752 pages and bonded leather, there's something about having a physical copy and being able to collect them that appeals to me honestly
oh yeah, the leather barnes and noble classics are nice, I have one thats the complete works of shakespeare and the same for edgar allan poe
Ah nice, I have The Raven by Poe and I'm impressed with him so far, I'll have to take a look at the complete works at some point
Yeah I'm not some big reader or something, I have yet to go through a lot of them. I only just started reading again last year, made a resolution to read regularly so I've only recently been getting big brained
I've only actually read 2 works by Shakespeare but I'm planning on buying Holinshed's Chronicles of England which is apparently what Shakespeare got all his sources from. Being an Englishman I'd love to have a total knowledge of my country's history and it's Kings
reading pdfs are boring
