Let the internet do it for them.
The *patches* for New Vegas were token patches at best that only really were there to integrate in the DLC, which were entirely new content, instead of the content that was cut to make the deadline.
WHAT IS UP?
@Oxigin it's...it's that except it has a really deep story, and it's really pretty.
Like
XD
Really, really, really pretty.
I bet XD
I just installed the unofficial patch for Fallout New Vegas
I don't know what I want to play
Same

fallout4 killed my hype for games. i will never be hyped for a game again.
Is it because
I like my keyboard
You're a pussy?
Oh
So you're NOT afraid of "it's hard"
No
Just afraid I'll break my keyboard
XD
Eh
Assassin's Creed Unity called my hype for games
Keyboard and mouse is really bad for the game
Unity
Eeeewwwww
Then I'm afraid I'll break my controller
Ugh I know
Then we have games like
Watch_Dogs 2
Which just sort of looks at the steaming mess that Watch_Dogs was
And goes like
Unity game literally made me sad by how broken it was
"Well you see...we're not that anymore!"
And turns out to be a great game
Watch_Dogs 1 was alright
Not the best thing ever
It was a mess
Mass Effect 3
Choose the color of your explosion:
Red, Blue, Green.
XD
Green explosion!
Or red.
Since you know
I've...never played Mass Effect >.>
Kill yourself
don't kill me

Play it
Waiting for that to download
Playitplayitplayit
Sex Tali
I am, jeez >.>
XD
You must sex Tali
Casey Hudsen swore to us that the Mass Effect 3 ending would be intricate and dynamic and absolutely would not be a stale A/B/C ending where the choices were barely different.
And that's exactly what it was.
^
Heh
I mean before it was an A/B ending
They just added C
Yeah, in a fucking DLC
Since, it turns out
Ah DLC
They added a D in DLC.
Oh, right
That sounded perverted.
Put your D in me โค
Ew
God no
That was disgusting
XD
Might play waifu bartending
Err
Why does that sound like a game I must play
VA11-HallA
Orrr
Just to say I played a game called Waifu Bartending
Vallhalla
The actual name
Oh >.>
It's
Cyberpunk waifu bartending
I'd still play a game called that tho
The game
huh
It's really good
unfortunately I is broke
By the way
Oh you can just grab a torrent
Shh
Torrent? What even is...torrent? I don't know what you're talking about >.>

This convo never happened

What convo
Exactly
I just want Google Loon to become a thing so I can finally have decent interne
Google Loon?
giant air balloons that supply free internet 0-0
Remember though that Google loves tracking your every move. Internet use through Google would be spied on and documented.
i don't care, it's free XD
It's why I use OpenDNS instead of Google's DNS.
Both are way, way better than your ISP's DNS would be.
But OpenDNS wouldn't record everything you do like Google's.
OpenDNS?
Primiarly Google uses its tracking to target ads to you.
checking it out now
Short version is to just log into your router and enter these three IPs into the DNS fields:
```
208.67.220.220, 208.67.222.222, and 208.67.222.220
```
hmm. good info to know. i'll look more into this
By default your router uses the DNS provided to you by your ISP. It's terrible. Most ISPs have extremely poor quality DNS.
A lot of the lag and other connection issues you may have is likely from bad DNS from your ISP.
jeez. good to know. I'll take what i can get to increase both security and speed
That's why Cisco bought it out, because it was so much better.
clearly XD
Google's own DNS is really just as good, but no one likes to use it because Google will track everything you do.
Businesses don't like that because it makes it too easy for confidential data to be stolen.
obviously.
OpenDNS is a good choice but in my option not the best OpenNIC I think is a lot better
As long as it's not Google DNS.
repizon is a twink
True but if you don't care about privacy of someone watching you (like nearly everyone that uses facebook and that shit) then google is a pretty good choice
That could be suitable for things like game consoles, or other small portable systems.
Or a smartphone
True but to change DNS settings you have to jump through hoops and bonds so most people can't give a fuck even on game consoles
At your home, you just have to do it once. On the router and then everything connected to it will use it.
You only have to set it manually on devices you'll bring somewhere else.
True, but my ISP (for example) made it nearly impossible to change DNS settings on the router they send and I think most ISP will go that way and not many people want to go out and buy a new one if they not going to use it
Little choice with mine. You'll sorely regret not getting your own.
For an ISP they have exceptional service. But nothing's perfect. And their flaw is that everything physical they give you, from hardware to any kind of cable, is of terrible quality.
HDMI cables they give you ***WILL***fail.
Not *might*, they ***will***
So will anything else. Ethernet cables, coaxial cables, modems, routers, cable boxes, remotes, etc.
Yeah I get what your saying but most people are like it just works so what the point
I've never really had anything like that fail on me yet
I opted to get a TIVO from their partnership instead of one of their own cable boxes for that reason.
The modem and router are mine.
All the cables are mine.
Never had a problem with the TiVO like I did with the cable box they had me using before.
I don't know what it is about them that causes all their hardware to be shit.
their service is some of the best in the whole country otherwise.
Money simple as that
They don't want to spend much on you they don't care they just want your money
That's just it. they're insanely dedicated to have high quality, top end service.
They're going to give their entire service area gigabit internet by the end of the year.
At least they say they will.
If they do they'll create the largest gigabit service area in the nation.
Hmm well they spend so much on the lines and shit. I guess they need to make shortcuts somewhere
They claim they're not going to signifcantly change their prices for gigabit speeds and that it'll be their base service in upgraded areas and that they intend to bring it to every area they service.
Yup and that will cost buckets full of money so yeah I see why some of the other products might be shit
Ugh....
Skyrim SE was crashing on loading a save so I tried a clean install and then cutting back on some of the mods I have installed.
**NOW** it crashes on loading the main menu.
RIP have you tried restarting your machine?
I have.
I wouldn't be complaining if the simple fixes didn't work.
that reminded me of every tech support call ever
"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
I was tech support at my last year of high school and that's how I fixed 99% of problems.
Nice XD
having the worst time trying to access my routers DNS settings
I've done tech support and yeah it's how you fix every problem
Sometimes I wonder if playing Dark Souls is a bad way to deal with feeling like shit.
Also what router do you use?
It's a Netgear
I've tried www.routerlogin.com but every time I put in the login redentials it just doesn't work
Have you done user = admin, pass = password
Yup
Did fuckall
if that doesn't work on the bottom or somewhere on your router the should be a sticker with the admin details on it
If that didn't fix it, we'd just reimage the computer using generic backup image from our server. That fixed almost everything that a restart didn't. If it still didn't work, it was a hardware issue and that's when it got really fun.
That's what I originally typed in. That didn't work either for ome reason
The only repair that really stands out though was the one time we had to remove the top half of a laptop and replace it because the screen was totally destroyed. All we got for an answer was that it was an accident. But honestly if I had to guess, I'd say he took a sledgehammer to it.
The back side of the laptop lid was split open.
Backup are the key to tech support also people are fucking stupid with hardware and laptops like boi come on.
Also you tried to fix that laptop? I would have bin it
Currently, no. I'm not the main admin, to my knowledge.
We had three backups. One for Windows 2000 desktops, one for Windows XP desktops, and one for the Windows XP tablet PC laptops that we bought for every student that year.
If the problem wasn't immediately obvious and a restart didn't fix it, we'd just reimage it with the relevant backup.
Windows XP best annime.
Sounds like a pretty sweet setup for a HS
At the time the only other choice was Vista and we weren't doing that.
Vista was such a resource whore that none of our computers could run it anyway.
You think Vista is a resource whore. Wait till you have a whole company that where all running windows 7 then over night they all get switched to 10
Could be, but I don't ever remember being told about it. That's something I'm normally told about.
Microsoft got pretty scummy there as the free period for Windwos 10 was coming to an end.
Forcing a lot of computers to update to it without the owners' knowledge.
A lot just woke up one day to find they now had Windows 10.
Hoii!
I'll figure something out
Also yeah they did I have heard some horror stories of support staff running around trying to downgrade everything and failing horribly
Microsoft snuck in some innocuous looking things inside normal Windows updates that were checked automatically as recommended priority updates that, in reality functioned more like a virus and would download in the background, the Windows 10 install and then upgrade the computer to it when it wasn't being used.
I don't know what I did but I think I got Skyrim working.
Nope. Just got back to my original problem of it crashing on save load.
gg
It's brand new.
$1000 gaming PC.
prebuilt or
It ran Skyrim just fine for a month and all of sudden the crashing issue started.
I tried clean installing Skyrim and still didn't work.
It's a Win10 problem you said, wasn't it?
That's not what's causing this problem.
I'm someone you'd hire to fix that.
And I can't get it to work.
^
It's SkyrimSE right?
just change your IP address ๐
bottom text
Yes.
Yeah, that's just a Skyrim SE problem. I remember I had a framerate problem with Fallout New Vegas and uninstalling it and reinstalling it immediately didn't work. So I unistalled it for a few weeks and it worked.
Maybe uninstall Skyrim for a week or so
idk
