2016-12-13 21:30:23 UTC

piper and danse got like stuck in a lop

2016-12-13 21:30:28 UTC

The only thing that bothered me about it is that they stopped updating the game exceptionally fast. Much faster than with Skyrim. They didn't make a much DLC as they indicated. They only made two real ones, that weren't as good as they hyped they'd be. And they stopped fixing bugs.

2016-12-13 21:30:49 UTC

loop*

2016-12-13 21:30:53 UTC

The bug that annoyed me the most is the notorious ash pile bug that's been in Bethesda games since Fallout 3 and they have never fixed it.

2016-12-13 21:30:57 UTC

and I could never find them again

2016-12-13 21:31:03 UTC

They claimed to fix it in Skyrim but they didn't.

2016-12-13 21:31:04 UTC

or bring them with me

2016-12-13 21:31:29 UTC

Same here, lost a lot a progress due to me losing Nick Valentine

2016-12-13 21:31:39 UTC

They actually did address that one with the Vault DLC. It includes a machine to locate companions.

2016-12-13 21:31:47 UTC

Sometimes I found them in the weirdest places.

2016-12-13 21:32:10 UTC

also don't ever send one of them on supply line

2016-12-13 21:32:12 UTC

Yea, I'm happy they did that

2016-12-13 21:32:23 UTC

or you have to stalk their supply line to find them

2016-12-13 21:32:54 UTC

It's always easy to find a supply line NPC.... until you actually need to find them. Then good damn luck. Because you never will.

2016-12-13 21:33:04 UTC

It's like Narnia. You can only find it when you're not looking for it.

2016-12-13 21:33:58 UTC

Lol

2016-12-13 21:34:43 UTC

Can't tell you how many times one of them walked into the middle of a firefight I was having and got shredded.

2016-12-13 21:35:24 UTC

I will admit that Fallout 4 does have problems, with the Story and Companions having no development.

2016-12-13 21:36:05 UTC

Juicy

2016-12-13 21:36:10 UTC

They cut some amazing Parts from Fallout 4

2016-12-13 21:36:31 UTC

Part that bothered me the most that they cut is the alternate ending to the Brotherhood questline.

2016-12-13 21:36:37 UTC

from becoming Elder of the BoS

2016-12-13 21:36:39 UTC

Yea

2016-12-13 21:36:46 UTC

I am furious they never added that back in DLC.

2016-12-13 21:36:51 UTC

Same

2016-12-13 21:36:54 UTC

Like in Broken Steel for Fallout 3.

2016-12-13 21:37:08 UTC

I never did play that DLC

2016-12-13 21:37:29 UTC

I didn't either but it added an alternate main quest ending too.

2016-12-13 21:37:41 UTC

ohhhh yea

2016-12-13 21:37:44 UTC

Originally you just died. Game over.

2016-12-13 21:37:47 UTC

It changed that.

2016-12-13 21:38:00 UTC

Open world RPGs should never just end.

2016-12-13 21:38:07 UTC

It's one thing I hate about New Vegas.

2016-12-13 21:38:15 UTC

They cut that feature for time.

2016-12-13 21:38:20 UTC

And refused to add it back in DLC.

2016-12-13 21:38:52 UTC

But honestly, New Vegas had an amazing story

2016-12-13 21:38:56 UTC

and good story DLC

2016-12-13 21:39:03 UTC

I think people exaggerate though how bad Bethesda is with leaving things unfinished and unpatched.

2016-12-13 21:39:11 UTC

Obsidion is way, way worse.

2016-12-13 21:39:16 UTC

well

2016-12-13 21:39:19 UTC

New Vegas is a prime example.

2016-12-13 21:39:26 UTC

It's the buggiest game I have ever played.

2016-12-13 21:39:35 UTC

Bethesda DID give them barley any time

2016-12-13 21:39:53 UTC

That's not the point. It was going to be buggy regardless.

2016-12-13 21:40:02 UTC

The problem is that they didn't patch it at all after release.

2016-12-13 21:40:18 UTC

Just token patches to integrate DLC, no real bugfixes.

2016-12-13 21:40:28 UTC

I hd less problems with NV than with FO4

2016-12-13 21:40:30 UTC

tbh

2016-12-13 21:40:43 UTC

FO3 was the worst

2016-12-13 21:40:50 UTC

It crashed every 15 mins on release

2016-12-13 21:40:52 UTC

We can't see into alternate universe's, how can we know that It would be buggy regardless??

2016-12-13 21:40:59 UTC

it was unlplayable for weeks

2016-12-13 21:41:06 UTC

Because of the company's reputation.

2016-12-13 21:41:19 UTC

and really, I've had no problems with my New Vegas game

2016-12-13 21:41:28 UTC

Obsidian is infamous for releasing buggy, barely-if-at-all functional games.

2016-12-13 21:41:40 UTC

Worse than Bethesda.

2016-12-13 21:41:59 UTC

didn't they work on South Park the Stick of Truth though??

2016-12-13 21:42:15 UTC

those games are technically easy tho

2016-12-13 21:42:17 UTC

That was compartively a much simplier game.

2016-12-13 21:42:43 UTC

And the South Park team was heavily involved in it and they delayed it several times.

2016-12-13 21:42:47 UTC

those games don't exactly have complex engines

2016-12-13 21:42:51 UTC

ok

2016-12-13 21:42:56 UTC

Usually Obsidian's publishers run them on unrealistic deadlines.

2016-12-13 21:43:08 UTC

every publisher does

2016-12-13 21:43:14 UTC

it bankrupts studios

2016-12-13 21:43:15 UTC

They love to blame their publishers for that, but despite that they usually refuse to patch it post-launch.

2016-12-13 21:43:17 UTC

remmeber Troika

2016-12-13 21:43:28 UTC

I heard Bethesda put them on a unrealistic deadline for New Vegas

2016-12-13 21:43:40 UTC

That's kind of exaggerated.

2016-12-13 21:43:56 UTC

It was fast for a Bethesda game, but more than most games get.

2016-12-13 21:43:57 UTC

nobody remembers Troika...

2016-12-13 21:44:05 UTC

๐Ÿ˜ฉ

2016-12-13 21:44:25 UTC

And New Vegas wasn't started from scratch. They basically just took the completed Fallout 3 and built New Vegas in its engine.

2016-12-13 21:44:32 UTC

Which takes considerably less time.

2016-12-13 21:45:00 UTC

Every single item and asset that was in Fallout 3 is in New Vegas and accessable by console commands.

2016-12-13 21:46:19 UTC

isn't Obsidian made up of Ex-Black Isle Studio members??

2016-12-13 21:47:26 UTC

Yeah, that's how they got the license to make a Fallout game. It was Bethesda extending an olive branch to them.

2016-12-13 21:48:14 UTC

Anyone played tyranny yet?

2016-12-13 21:48:20 UTC

What do you think about the Story of New Vegas??

2016-12-13 21:48:44 UTC

Troika included the guy that worked on the first fallout

2016-12-13 21:48:48 UTC

Tim Cain

2016-12-13 21:49:08 UTC

The story is certainly more interesting than anything Bethesda has done.

2016-12-13 21:49:23 UTC

Arcanum was better than Fallout imo

2016-12-13 21:50:12 UTC
2016-12-13 21:50:29 UTC

wot

2016-12-13 21:50:32 UTC

2016-12-13 21:50:33 UTC

2016-12-13 21:50:34 UTC

2016-12-13 21:50:37 UTC

2016-12-13 21:50:45 UTC

2016-12-13 21:51:09 UTC

2016-12-13 21:51:12 UTC

sleep is for the weak

2016-12-13 21:51:13 UTC

I haven't actually finished them all but I know the story of them.

2016-12-13 21:51:21 UTC

/afk... O wait

2016-12-13 21:51:25 UTC
