Nitpicks aside, yeah that's some great work.

I mean the nitpicks are always handy, it helped us figure out the Leafblade works effectively as a coilgun, and the drawbacks for it.

The lockscrew muskets were an entertaining concept for a faction that is magic-focused.

Granted making a magic-focused steampunk that doesn't look sci-fi is a fun tightrope walk.

I'm the commissioner for this, the weapons were designed by a 3d artist from 2d renditions as well as the Battlefield 1 game's lewis gun, and the others are either Blender or digital art.

Is the German march song "Erika", featured in many a meme, just a German song, or is it specifically a Nazi song? I was written by a member of NSDAP, but it holds no inherent political undertones, and removed from all context, is actually pretty nice.

This basically boils down to "Are artist, art, usage of art, ... separable or inherently linked?"

@Goddess Tyche It is more a typical marching cadence common to most armies and not a 'Nazi' song as it contains no political narratives, slogans, or anything to do with the NSDAP.

In short; go listen to Volk Ans Gewehr, Heil unserm Furher, Horst Wessel, Die Braune Kompanie and Ade Ade Ade if you want some good examples of the lyrics an actual song of the NSDAP would have in it. Then go listen to Erika.

In 1873 there was a proposal in the Alabama Legislature to sell the land west of the Tombigbee River to Mississippi, including the city of Mobile, in order to finance the purchase of the Florida Panhandle west of the Appalacaocla River. I made a map of it because why the heck not.

No way Florida was going to give up Pensacola. Though having a major port like Mobile might've helped Mississippi avoid becoming a bottom-tier state.

There were many proposals for the Panhandle to join Alabama, and apparently some in the Floridian government were actually willing to sell it for the right price.

But there were also a lot of politicians in the Floridian government who resisted, which is why it never happened despise the wishes of the local population.

Most of the discussion of the Panhandle joining Alabama was dropped after the Pensacola & Atlantic railroad was built in the 1880s, mostly because the railroad caused the Panhandle to become less of a backwater.

Yeah. I was assuming Pensacola was already a port and/or Navy base at the time. Clearly it wasn't.

Pensacola only became a major port after the railroad was built. Along with Panama City and Port St. Joe. They mostly exported logging products.
