i guess it depends on the type of survival

2017-09-21 02:37:03 UTC

Probably should just merge these.

2017-09-21 02:37:38 UTC

im worried about too many overlapping conversations

2017-09-21 02:38:04 UTC

Well, most discussion in one is applicable to the other.

2017-09-21 02:38:17 UTC

Doesn't really matter either way.

2017-09-21 03:42:25 UTC

Zennex17, to answer your question from the sig chat: it's a new hobby for me and I haven't harvested anything yet. But I think that lettuce in the pic is about ready and it's been ~3 weeks since the seeds sprouted from the rockwool.

2017-09-21 18:20:17 UTC

Anyone know anything about bovines?

2017-09-21 18:21:44 UTC

Anyone have any experience with family milk cows, on the topic of self-sufficiency?

2017-09-21 21:14:37 UTC

Not much, I knew some folks that had a milk cow. They also had a couple goats and said that the goats ended up producing more milk for their size than the cow.

2017-09-21 21:22:16 UTC

It depends on the cow, cow's age and feed. Personaly I perfer more animals because it minimizes the chance of catastophry. http://www.backwoodshome.com/bovine-basics-for-beginners/
P.S. did you know that there are dairy sheep breeds.

2017-09-21 21:35:21 UTC

sheep milk

2017-09-21 21:35:21 UTC

what

2017-09-21 21:36:58 UTC

Sheep herding would give the ladies plenty of work and generate a nice income for the community

2017-09-21 21:37:04 UTC

yeah

2017-09-21 21:37:15 UTC

maybe putting up our best livestock for studding

2017-09-21 21:38:39 UTC

Anyone know anything about sheep?

2017-09-21 21:38:55 UTC

not really tbh

2017-09-21 21:39:08 UTC

also here's a bit of something on agriculture if we decide on mossy rock

2017-09-21 21:39:08 UTC
2017-09-21 21:40:17 UTC

I know orchards are huge in WA and OR

2017-09-21 21:44:08 UTC

What sort of orchards?

2017-09-21 21:44:50 UTC

Christmas tree farming?

2017-09-21 21:44:50 UTC

im not sure what particular fruits they grow

2017-09-21 21:44:54 UTC

2017-09-21 21:46:17 UTC

Apple orchards.. That's a god-tier life

2017-09-21 21:46:48 UTC

Berries too, again lots of products we could make with those harvests

2017-09-21 21:46:54 UTC

All natural too

2017-09-21 21:47:09 UTC

yea

2017-09-21 21:58:11 UTC

Lady and child friendly work too, picking apples and berries

2017-09-21 21:58:50 UTC

I want to brew alcohol someday

2017-09-21 21:59:04 UTC

theres something really comfy about it

2017-09-21 21:59:08 UTC

i want to raise good, white children who understand work ethic

2017-09-21 21:59:12 UTC

who work around the house

2017-09-21 21:59:17 UTC

literally only thing i want

2017-09-21 21:59:31 UTC

On the subject of homeschooling

2017-09-21 21:59:39 UTC

but yeah alcohol brewing might be fun

2017-09-21 21:59:53 UTC

We can get away with not having a (((school))) in our community if we all do it

2017-09-21 22:00:14 UTC

And yeah I like the idea of a brewery. Folkish work and will generate income.

2017-09-21 22:00:56 UTC

or we can simply build a private school

2017-09-21 22:01:14 UTC

^

2017-09-21 22:01:16 UTC

otherwise rural schools are still much more redpilled than urban ones

2017-09-21 22:02:52 UTC

As long as we don't have to worry about "teacher, daddy is a nazi and so are all my neighbors"

2017-09-21 22:03:00 UTC

*knock knock* child services

2017-09-21 22:03:32 UTC

Also, anyone seen this? Super cheap, easy money, will help other crops

2017-09-21 22:03:50 UTC

oh wow

2017-09-21 22:03:51 UTC

beehives

2017-09-21 22:03:51 UTC

I would definitely put a few of these up

2017-09-21 22:03:53 UTC

forgot about those

2017-09-21 22:04:10 UTC

This design used artificial combs for the bees

2017-09-21 22:04:18 UTC

No more smoking them to get the honey

2017-09-21 22:04:36 UTC

Now more killing bees by breaking the honeycombs

2017-09-21 22:04:49 UTC

The honey flows right out of a fucking tap!

2017-09-21 22:04:58 UTC

Just watch the video

2017-09-21 22:06:27 UTC

au naturale

2017-09-21 22:06:30 UTC

i love it

2017-09-21 22:10:37 UTC

We can build schools and have our own teachers

2017-09-21 22:10:58 UTC

maybe the parents could teach a basis for the child to work off of

2017-09-21 22:11:01 UTC

I'm going for management and teaching in uni

2017-09-21 22:11:10 UTC

a teaching degree

2017-09-21 22:11:11 UTC

huh

2017-09-21 22:11:15 UTC

Ye

2017-09-21 22:11:18 UTC

nice

2017-09-21 22:11:26 UTC

I have a teaching degree

2017-09-21 22:11:33 UTC

I'd rather do real work

2017-09-21 22:11:41 UTC

But I guess that's an option

2017-09-21 22:11:47 UTC

For their sakes

2017-09-21 22:12:49 UTC

Not using state books tho

2017-09-21 22:12:51 UTC

hehe

2017-09-21 22:12:58 UTC

Because I dont think homeschooling is good.

2017-09-21 22:13:19 UTC

honestly the main reason (((they))) can so easily brainwash children is because the parents fail to get to their own children first and instil proper virtues and morals

2017-09-21 22:13:41 UTC

Better than sending them to holocaust and slavery school though

2017-09-21 22:13:48 UTC

i feel like modern parents have just lost their ability to instill virtues and morals

2017-09-21 22:13:56 UTC

and instead just push equality onto them

2017-09-21 22:14:00 UTC

Our people did fine without schools until the 1920's

2017-09-21 22:14:11 UTC

or put the responsibility of parenting on those teachers

2017-09-21 22:14:14 UTC

or the TV

2017-09-21 22:14:28 UTC

or the media

2017-09-21 22:14:29 UTC

in general

2017-09-21 22:14:39 UTC

which is why we have so many wigger children i'm p sure

2017-09-21 22:14:43 UTC

only care about money

2017-09-21 22:14:50 UTC

It is

2017-09-21 22:15:12 UTC
