are there cars allowed here or are we just a bunch of neo-amish
Look all Im saying is eventually the society is going to get larger and there will be a surplus of people, not everyone will need to farm
i wanna be able to drive a chevy you guys
)^:
>And medical skills are priceless, become a mechanic, or consider going into engineering, IT, the trades, or learn something more old school such as leather working, textiles, blacksmithing, woodworking, farming, ect.
low key compound in a urban setting?
i wanna still listen to country and drive a jacked up chevy
Ironically even communists don't like "primmies" people that would prefer to live a primitive lifestyle.
We can set up our own transmission for radio now that you mention country
thats expensive as fuck
to do
Meant install
unless you wanna have commercials and have people chat
you can install it yourself
ever heard of pirate radio?
I dont know that kind of stuff
well i know a lot about computers and tech and shit
I can do medical shit at a sumwhat scrub tier
i dont want to formally get a degree
thats pussy shit
would take more time as well
Tfw already preparing to be jury rigging people for the rest of my life
FM pirate radio is easy
@dmac100 I agree with you too, I just think we need a wider base to get more people
but expensive
Food first, but one key element for civilization is specialization
this sounds like base building out a game called fallout 4 ๐
We have to have people doing stuff to progress the community
I don't think the US is the optimal country for the Ethostate, we should focus on countries with a good and quiet countryside
Plenty of water for hydropower
hardcore winters, just like god wanted for the white man
Alaska wouldn't be too bad, but there's a lower growing season compared to the Continental US
@dmac100 what kind of shit are we growing? Mass produce wheat for a shit load of food?
and alaska has excellent hunting to make up for the smaller growing season
I'm not an expert in geography but I don't think that Alaska is going the have enough crops for 100+ people, specially because of the harsh winter
I think a more hospitable climate would be best
Secluded, hilly but moderate
We will need other food groups for sustenance
corn and soy are your best bet
also ranching cattle
Meat should be a future thing to invest in
ranching
You guys know that about 3/5 of our people will have to be working on the crops and hunting to supply the state, right?
With or without farm tools?
i think i might just stick with a scythe + hoe
i'd hate to destroy land with large machinery
fuck you i like giant machines
kek
lmao
^^ this
youre a pussy unless you farm with a combine and drive your girl in a pickup truck
So how many have experience with farming? I cant farm but I can hunt
I'm a city slicker, I know the concrete jungle
im planning on getting a job at a farm soon if my factory job doesnt work out
so yea
yes
anyway I need to go to sleep, keep it hetero guys
and goats
night orchid
G'night
good night
are people making lists on this shit?
we need a barber to keep our fashy haircuts
i tip my wehrmacht helmet at orchid
amiright
>not foraging your own helmets and making your own security uniforms from cotton we grow
# fashy hair cut village
Cotton kills
there's certain types of rabbit we can shear for wool
rabbits breed fast
I think everyone on the ethostate should know the basics of permaculture
And for more specific crops we should use hydroponics
we need barbers
otherwise we cant maintain our undercuts
amiright
Brussels sprouts, squash, eggplants, spinach ...
wheat/barley?
Gotta bounce guys, cya later
cya
can we grow flax in the PNW
Cress is also a good option, since it is one of the best vegetables when we are talking about nutrition
then we can have linin uniforms and shit
for when its warm
also bed sheets and shit
Cress is good for the optimal volkisch diet
When you eat cress, you are honoring the Gods
sieg heil
do we bring our own vehicles here though
pickup truck only rule?
totally bro
just like the pioneers did
That makes you live better and longer
you need to eat veggies and meat otherwise youre retarded

ja
hey welcome to /sig/, how chad are ya
i jump out das fenster
i can farm poultry
Can we build an Odin statue on the hall of the Ethnostate?
ive been doing it for a while
Goats are a great replacement for cows. They produce a lot of milk and it tastes just like cow milk.
I've had it before.
>i've never had gat
goat
goat milk is way richer than cow
lets grow soy and make soy milk guys!
also i can bake bread n shit
i know how to grind down wheat into flour + turn it into bread
dont say cow
there are various cattle with varying milkfat contents
holsteins are your best bet though
GMO is a jewish trick
I'd rather to have the cow because the amount of milk they produce is 2 times more than a goat
you can get a lot out of a holstein
which isnt bad if you think about it
@_CREWMAN the issue with cows is that each cow needs 1 acre of land for grazing. You can produce more milk by having multiple goats on 1 acre.
ive been before
Goats produce more milk per acre of land required per animal.
goats would be better for a smaller op
Goats it is then lol
cows arent profitable unless you grain feed them
who's gonna be our official goat rancher lmao
alright
I wanna be a smith :33
dogs and cats are needed too
Or a carpenter or something
cats for the mice and rats
and dogs for herding
If you have cows you can also have oxes on the livestock
@dmac100 exactly, they need 1 acre for eating and you need a second acre to regrow.
And bulls for the leather
but a truck is the best
@Yung Koala i'm going into either carpentry/smithing so we could work together lmao
we need to think about machines to help us maximise output
combines for corn
trucks for hauling grain and trailers
Yay @ram3n ๐
Workshop when
Oh yeah
forging our own tools when
I almost forgot about the corn
Fuck yeah
Corn is a must have for vegetable starch
And even for biodiesel
Peas are awesome, they grow like hell
Heck, you can burn corn cobs for heat.
we can still buy from hardware stores
hrngh
we need to stop larping as a bunch of cowboys and middle ages europeans
we can have trucks, and buy shit we cant make
lmao
okay
we buy capital goods and produce consumer goods
put simply
Self sufficiency should be a long term goal, but thinking that we'd be using Amish level technology starting out is silly.
@dmac100 corn may not be optimal for energy but we can kill many problems with one solution
I think it's completely reasonble to have non-powered tools to use in a SHTF long term scenario but also make use of modern technology while we have it.
>implying I'm not gonna set up blacksmithing shop with Ramen
@dmac100 what didnt you get about buying capital goods and producing consumer goods
Heh, get a load of this guy..
we buy tools and machines and produce food to sustain ourselves
maybe even sell surpluses to outsiders
IRCC biodiesel corn farmers only get a profit through government subsidies. IF they didn't get govn't funding for "Green energy" they wouldn't break even.
think about this ethnostate economically
and you can easily succeed
Like how Wind turbines cost more in maintenance than they provide in power.
Cool concept, but not practical.
solar is a very good investment though
