Authoritards get the helicopter
Nothing to do with authority
it has everything to do with authority
Democracy is legitimately terrible for everyone
It's due to democracy that you can't force your view on everyone else so you seek an option where others have less ability to resist what you think is right
*Democritards get the bullet
Except the elites
And what do elites get in any other system? Power.
Just the same as democracy
Did you even read what I said?
shutup liberal
>wanting a classical republic is liberal
It is
Democracy is the most liberal system
false
Large business is multinational so the qotd is moot
Democracy: everyone is equal and has a say in the running of society for everyone else.
Classical republic: understanding that people have a say but it is only select groups with investment in the system, and there is a natural hierarchy of authority.
That isn't true though
Democracy serves the interest of the least amount of people in society. Monarchies are preferable. At least a monarch has a sense of ownership of the nation, and duty to it.
That isn't true either
A monarch has a duty to his ego
only what he wants to do as true monarchs view themselves as divinely appointed
The Founding Fathers knew that Direct Democracy was flawed, hence they created the Electoral College. That way Mob Rule wasn't the main driving force of political decisions within the country
And the divinely appointed know that they must serve the will of the divine. They are put in place to rule the nation well. Not for their own interest.
false
Except for all of the middle ages
You are probably mistaking divinely appointed monarchs with divine monarchs.
wait so is the threat foreign businesses vs domestic?
You are mistaking truth with truthn't
or foreign whatever vs businesses
Yea
Oof I've been btfo'd
How will I ever recover?
You have been Obongobozledโข
*>watches in Ceaserism*
Foreign influence is nearly non-existent except in the deluded minds of the left. The damage that mass media has inflicted upon the population cannot be overstated. Visual media has induced spiritual (in the widest sense) corruption upon Americans, and this is our chief export, so to the world as well. To say that the foreign element has any tangible influence is an outright denial of reality, and a creation then of a false reality.
1/3 of Americans think 2020 election will he decided by a foreign power
communism is the only solution
@Pebbะe gay
How did you go from fascist to commie
i like truth
we will save the white race with communism
Domestic influence is far more of a danger in a "Democratic" environment. I would say this because there is already some level of trust there by the people of a Nation to a well-known company, or brand.
Unless we're talking major subterfuge by mass immigrants to sway the tide of a race in their favour.
Domestic influence from large businesses
@everyone Daily Question ๐
Is it ever okay to sacrifice civil liberties in the name of security?
No
Obviously
A little bit is always needed
I like my house not being raided by gangs because the police is there to protect me
Yes
But do I want that police taking people weapons away? Nah
Yes
Or searching my house for drugs for absolutely no reason? No
Sure, security is needed, but I will never give up my Civil Liberties for the Patriot Act.
Yeah, basically what @Miguelinileugim said
Broke
We need to trade a bit of liberty for a lot of security, never the other way around
@Gamer4713 That's trading lots of liberty for a little security ie a bad idea
I do not want my liberties taken away for security.
I will give away one small one at most.
no u
Yeah, ofc
Sometimes you just have to
Some
Not completely
Privacy is needed so people can experiment on not so nicely percieved actions whithout persecutions
Its just humans
While monitoring streets with a lotta cameras and buying data from facebook google+ is quite on line but acceptable, spying with hidden microphones in CPUs (which did happen if you dont remember the famous reddit controversy) is completely off charts and should be punishable
ayyy
sexy lady
op op op op
oppan gangnam style
Why?
Suspending civil liberties should only be done sparingly if ever, and even then only the most dire of circumstances, such as nationwide famine or invasion.
Civil liberties should be warred against
Indeed
yes, civil liberties can be withdrawn for emergencies. However, rights cannot be infringed
depends what civil liberties
some yes some no
What Campodin said
Yeah it's fine.
what exactly is defined as "civil liberties" and how are they different from your rights?
The police are not there to protect you, they are there to protect the law.
Yes
@grilomoto civil liberties are the things the government allows you to do and protects.
sacrifice multiple civil liberties
the only real dependence is what kind of government it is
is it a nepotistic deep state
or one true to its people
protection of privacy is a good example of a civil liberty imo
oh ok good
Answer is no
it is really murky waters because naturally the two overlap
voting is a civil liberty
where i'm from voting is obligatory ๐ข
@Summฤซ Imperator, ๅชใๆฎฟ what's the difference if it is part of the law that they should protect you?
Because ultimately the police serve the state, and must follow the laws of the Governing force.
Otherwise they don't have a job
but what's the practical difference?
Well, the difference is that if you have a law that demands their protection of the people then it is not impossible to amend laws by bills and reduce, or remove that obligation to protect.
what
"the right" is impossible to define accurately, thus proving once again the right/left paradigm is a tool of our enemy. It is not right v left, rather national v global
I intend to be on the side of nationhood, even if that means I may seem like a "leftist" at times to some
@V-NAF_Aardist this is true, for what does the fascist have in common with a monarchist or the libertarian with your typical Christian conservative? Yet all these are apparently rightwing ideologies.
@everyone Daily Question ๐
Should the United States be worried about China? Are they a threat militarily or economically?
GAY
no u
yes
China number 1
china needs to die
China numba wun
@campodin yes
chai na namba wunnn
China numba wannn
Caina numba wann
China is a threat, both economically, and military wise.
No u
China #1
While the USA could "defeat" them, that isn't the goal.
hitler did everything wrong
Nobody can defeat the mighty Chinese
They should, China can't do shit however. It can only be considered a strong opponent, if it has Russia on its side. Otherwise, China has no air and no navy forces, really.
yes
Shut up Koni
China #1
No you
@Summฤซ Imperator, ๅชใๆฎฟ what is the goal?
Kill you are self
My my am self
the USA should look out for China in Korea and South East China sea, it is also likely in the future China's economy will heavily rival the US economy.
the Chinese government though seems to be compitent enough to not start a world war though
The goal is to strengthen their claim to the waters around Asia, and to be such a nuisance that engaging them would have losses greater than the worth of what they lay claim to.
They won't declare a world war, unless Korea is involved
you can tell Xi Jinping knows the wonders of Capitalism, seeing him as a communist fool is literally foolish
China will get its ass handed to NATO, without Russia
I don't know enough to comment
debatable
China has next to unlimited manpower and a powerhouse economy
in the unlikely case war starts even
@Deleted User then why did they capitulate to trump in the recent "trade war"?
if North Korea does something stupid China will most probably only join in small numbers and do jack shit, unless North Korea is the one getting invaded in a strike
Manpower? China doesn't have enough navy to CARRY all these men.
Nor air force
^
Their military is primarily land based
That's why they are making them.
An invasion of the US against China would be hard to succeed, and the casualtied would be pretty big.
And why they are manufacturing islands.
they could have a massive boost of any sort of vehicles if they wanted too
But China can't stand a chance
the amount of factories can be reverted to war economy if they wanted
Against NATO.
IF Russia joins the game, then it's a stalemate
I dont know
Russia has a strong military and air force
To think that they have no chance at all would be admitting defeat.
And navy as well
Overconfidence will cause leniency.
"Russia has a strong Navy" ok
Are Russia and China together really equal to the USA?
they are decently up there
And Russia wants China as an ally
China doesn't think it is worth it yet.
why wouldn't China want Russia as an ally
Because China's economy can't make up for the sanctions on Russia.
military and political power willing to side with it
anyone would take it
If USA declares war, though, China will immediately remember that Russia is their friend
why would war start
honestly
Perhaps because China thinks it can have better relations with the USA without Russia?
Let's suppose it somehow starts
No matter how
both sides have brain cells, war with eachother would do more harm than good
it'd take actual centuries for any sort of profit to be made
Some wars can't be avoided
Some
I'm sure a US vs China can be
They are too entangled economically imo
That's not the topic though
But yes, China is a threat, Economically and Military wise.
Militarily, it's not as dangerous as Russia
Not a threat that could not be dealt with, but the losses for dealing with it would out weigh any benefit.
China can't invade the US. I mean, any sea invasion would end into a defeat, and would cost a lot to the chinese (non-existant, honestly) navy
@Summฤซ Imperator, ๅชใๆฎฟ do you think China knows this and is using it to its advantage?
Yes.
They're becoming bold
China has a compitent government, it should be fact, so playing with them isn't a joke
And Putin and Jinping have met for personal dinners a few times this year.
They make pancakes together too.
Lol
Lmfao
And China doesn't care about invading the USA
^
they don't want war just as much as anyone else
They just want to see how far they can go in their area of influence.
I WAS PONGED
which is reasonable as a new and upcoming superpower
Do you think that is part of why China doesn't ally with Russia?
Yes.
It is.
ok what do you see as a superpower
Russia has their influence in the middle east, USA has Europe, and China needs to find its influence
Jinping considers Putin a personal friend
China has its influence
china likes africa more
But the economy of China can't supplement the Russian Economy without the USA.
all the middle east has is oil
superpower: a nation with a large military (over a million) owns any sort of union/alliance and has influence on regions around the world
Africa has a lot more resources to exploit and land to develop
China meets almost all of those checks
China is already striking deals with African nations
China is buying up Africa
@Deleted User what about economy, and stable social conditions
the Kenyan capital-coast highway projec was supervised by China
(((China)))
china has economy
but its social conditions
second largest
social conditions don't really matter when you have the power to not care
What do you mean? It has perfect social conditions. If somebody gets ran over and dies, nobody reports it.
The body just sits there until the cleaners come.
If the person gets ran over and lives, they can immediately claim insurance and they'll automatically win in court.
Especially if the driver takes responsibility, it doesn't matter the circumstances in which they run someone over. It's just a crime in general.
like china's factories are like that of around a century ago
horrible labor laws
What was wrong with those factories?
with workers being treated inhumane and with low pay
China has never had the notion of regulating labour laws
an unstable people = an unstable country
why does the government need to care
Well SOMEONE has to make the iPhones
Ever since the Han Dynasty collapsed.
An unstable people which doesn't have a lot of guns.
it's not like they're going to revolt they can't try and revolt
the government will shut them down before they try
and china really is fucking itself with allies since they insist on being a "communist party"
Russia could care less
You don't need guns to bring a nation to its knees
Iran could care less
theyre allies = countries theyve forced to have economic dependance on them
No they're not, nobody cares that China's "communist"
@Deleted User merica does
implying they are even "communist"
