I'm confused >.<
If she'll be the best Senator Tennesee has had since Gore?
I thought Gore was a total fucking cunt.
Button Mash likes Gore
What?
Al Gore!?
at least his senate years
@zakattack04 Because Democrats found the best candidate possible
because he voted against immigration apparently
Al Gore was excellent on his immigration votes
Button Mash posted that its largest denomination is Catholic.
I imagine Blackburn would be better
I think the fact that he voted to force nuns to buy contraception is what cinches it though.
If you believe that the Pope is the Antichrist, you usually don't want to force people to buy contraception.
yeah it's probably good to portray him as anticatholic
has he gone on record as saying that btw?
Nope, he joined a Protestant denom that believes that.
They claim not to be anti-Catholic however.
Oh come on, compared to Corker?
Gore was far better
I have a question about the effectiveness of these "Anti-Catholic" memes. I just don't think this will work at all considering most Democrats aren't as religious as right wingers. Even Nacy Pelosi parades herself around as a devote Catholic and she's not losing support from San Francisco anytime soon.
Catholics aren't as religious as Evangelicals
@๐Boo-ton๐ Gore created the whole carbon credit system which he used to enrich himself.
he's a scumbag.
Many people identify as Catholic because they have Irish ancestry
@zakattack04 um no sweetie, Immigration is all that matters
Actually irritates me when you say that.
So you would support a literal communist if they were tough on immigration?
good question
yeah, he would lol.
By his own principles.
probably
depends who is running against the communist
I think I would too
Waht!?
You would support a total Progressive as long as they were anti-immigration!?
So someone that wanted to legalize gay marriagne, make hate speech a crime?
If it was McCain/Graham vs a anti-immigration communist,
I'm going with the Communist
if it was a neolib "conservative" who wants open borders vs a communist who wants to close them for wage reasons, I'd vote for the communist
^
It's a matter of balance
I think this is incredibly narrow minded.
Dude
@๐Boo-ton๐ Now you're changing your stance.
The clock is ticking
We don't have time for a perfect candidate
Matter of balance does not equal one policy voter.
Immigration outweighs most issues
"um no sweetie, Immigration is all that matters"
If it was Ben Shapiro vs. like a Nazbol I'd vote against Shapiro
That's not what you said lol.
By what you say.
You can change economic policy on a dime, but demographics are much harder to change
it means nothing else matters except immigration.
@FLanon This is also not true.
Changing economic policy on the dime is what caused depressions.
Most commies *are* open borders so it doesn't matter much
Well, name me some issues, and I'll tell you if I'd vote for them over a immigration-hardlining communist @zakattack04
but you can and that's the point
it's possible
How about cultural issues?
Like what, be specific
Like gay marriage and hate speech?
I'm a single-issue voter on abortion, immigration, homosexuality, taxes, healthcare, regulation, and literally every other Republican thing.
Remember that people like me are a huge amount of the GOP and will not vote for wishy-washy moderates.
We already lost on gay marriage,
Well communist countries usally don't have to deal with immigration because nobody wants to move into their shithole countires
SCOTUS can overturn itself anyday lol.
and hate speech? please. The supreme court will never overturn the first amendment
Umm.
we're pretty much on the retreat with the gay issue atm
maybe someday we can come back to it
They've already limited freedoms before.
They can do it again.
there will also never be a constitutional convention
Did they overturn the Patriot Act?
SCOTUS actually can't just overturn itself anyday.
Congress did
It's theoretically possible but it basically doesn't happen.
@Nuke They've overturned massivly historic cases just because the times have changed.
They totally can.
Even though "precendent" only means something when it supports the majority party's positions.
The only ruling to overturn a ruling as old as Brown v. Board is actually Brown v. Board.
Schneck was Overturned buy Brendenburg
vs ohio
by*
And we almost lost on Heller vs DC
Which would've basically removed the 2nd amendment.
@FLanon Remember how Moore ran entirely on how Sodomites were destroying America?
Yeah
I wish he won damnit
He should've ran more on immigration
But isn't it amazing,
nah he never would've won.
He should've held back the comments about slavery
The allegations were too damaging.
Would've damaged the GOP as a whole.
He had a great chance of winning
White Alabama voted for Moore by +39 points @zakattack04 @zakattack04
Until the allegations arose.
yeah BM but
No one wanted to vote for him after the sexual stuff.
He would have won if he tried harder
It was razor thin
Nah, people were just successfully suppressed
Debate, do anything other than watch football
The DNC worked their magic.
It was close enough
Brandenburg v. Ohio wasn't as big of a deal as Brown v. Board.
Schenck totally was
He easily could've won but he tortoise and the hare'd it and he was the hare.
That was the first case establishing limitations on the 1st amendment
Precedent is meaningless unless honestly.
52% of Trump voters in Alabama didn't show up
Look at Earl Warren's court.
that's how he lost
Come on, it was winnable
Easily winnable.
He didn't try hard enough.
Maybe, but it would've given Democrats great ammo for the midterms.
"phedo sympathizers"
The fact is you need a big majority for that sort of thing.
Roe v. Wade was a 7-2 decision for instance.
@Nuke Heller Vs DC was 5-4
Litteraly one more Democrat and the 2nd amendment would be gone.
Just like that.
Heller v. DC did not overturn anything. There's a tendency for the SCOTUS to not overrule, but instead weaken, and SCOTUS usually only weakens them really.
A great example is Lochner, which is still an active decision, but they've declawed it so much that it's effectively overturned.
Heller vs DC would have overturned it if the liberal side of the court had a majority is my point.
even though precedent was set, it is basically meaningless.
HELLER V. DC WOULD NEVER HAVE OVERTURNED ANYTHING
>win 29% of the White Vote
>still win
Jones is the luckiest politician alive, honestly
The Second Amendment as we know it today was basically established in the 21st century.
It was regarded as only applying to the federal govt until the 20th century and then no one really violated it until the 21st century when SCOTUS had to issue a ruling.
He got an insane percent with the blacks
Like 97% or something right?
Virtually 100%
yes
what individuals right
natural conservatives
Furthermore, justices tend to not want to overturn things, as I said. The decisions you just cited had precedent at very least, as SCOTUS did not even rule that the First Amendment applied to states _at all_ until later on.
Don't worry tho, Kanye will turn that around for sure
I hope McDaniel campaigns right
He's an excellent conservative,
White Mississippi loves him
but dear god
the Black Bloc
It would wipe him out
@FLanon 98% of black women voted for Jones
I think Espy won't be able to get Mississippi to vote for him because he's black tbh
White turnout THROUGH THE ROOF
@Nuke Tell me Deep Southerner,
Why did South Carolina nominate Haley and Scott then?
<@&414473406264639488> Gov Debate tonight
Newson vs Villarosa over who can pander to leftist and Nonwhites the most
*Villaraigosa
Literally what happened last time
And Leftists hate Villaraigosa because he supports charter schools and is against a Single Payer plan that would double the state expenses
@๐Boo-ton๐
1. Mississippi is not South Carolina.
2. Tim Scott is a Republican.
3. Indians are not black.
4. Nikki Haley is a Republican.
5. Cao & Jindal were also Republicans.
"i wanna thank the latino community"
Oh gay
Imagine voting for something THIS loaded
JOHN MCCAIN IS DYING SOON
JOHN MCCAIN IS DYING SOON
JOHN MCCAIN IS DYING SOON
JOHN MCCAIN IS DYING SOON
JOHN MCCAIN IS DYING SOON
JOHN MCCAIN IS DYING SOON
The question is....who is going to run for his seat after he croaks?
I'm guessing that McSally, Ward, and Arpaio can opt to run for that seat instead?
idk
But Im the first person whose going to find his grave and take a shit on it
@Deleted User @FLanon
The BRรIN man is the epitome of male dominance and masculinity.
Let's start by looking at his tumor. His swelling is large. Its domineering size makes his presence known without him even needing to point himself out.
He is bipartisan, as a result of his high levels of patriotism. This gives him the appearance of health and strength.
The BRรIN man's demeanor is one of a true maverick. He is principled, assertive, and can be explosively conservative. His behaviour strikes fear into the more timid, cowardly members of the GOP
ahahahahahahahaha
WHICH DEMOCRAT WILL RUN FOR MCCAIN'S SEAT??????????
@Nuke I can do one better
Imagine voting for something as loaded as this!
Oh wait, they did
Feed the bureaucracy, agh I just can't get enough regulations!! <3
" Whereas, on November 6, 2017, during debate on the GOP tax scam, the Chaplain led an opening prayer asking God to bless Congress and for Congress to โguarantee that there are not winners and losers under the new tax laws, but benefits balanced and shared by all Americansโ;"
" Whereas, under the GOP tax bill, more than 80 percent of its benefits flow to the richest 1 percent and the corporate special interests, ignoring the needs for struggling men and women and children;"
Imagine voting for something as loaded as this to even make it to the floor!
Is he, dare I say, /ourguy/ ?
@Nuke I bet Speaker Ryan put it on the floor as a joke.
@Walter Johnson Nazi? *Endorses*
I swear if what I say on this discord ever gets released I'm probably going to have to end up killing myself since the media is going to slander me hardcore.
But hey, I'm down for the race >:)
Lesss go CNN
@zakattack04 No you infighter Nancy Pelosi did
>.>
@Nuke oh, my bad >.<
Nacy is a devote Catholic, she did it all in good faith.
"I don't even know what to call Sarah Saunders, she is the Uncle of White Women". What?
NEW MO Sen 2018 General Election Poll:
Hawley (R) 45%
McCaskill (D) 45%
Other whitepill:
@FLanon White Millennials (especially White Millennial Men) are abandoning the Democratic Party in droves
The trend persists:
The White Democrat is on the brink of total extinction
(and it's beautiful)
@๐Boo-ton๐ Got a pic showing white women 18-34?
This might just be because Gen Z is hitting adulthood.
So if there's an increase in the 35-x age group Democrat vote, then the Millennials are just getting older.
@๐Boo-ton๐ I knew this would happen. I was very Liberal until I was about 30. Then I got a good job and felt I had a bright future
@Nuke It seems unchanged, White Women (18-34) were polling at +1 R in 2016 and continue to do so
Huh, better than their boyfriends?
That's odd.
WALL
Should we rally behind Travis Allen in CA?
@๐Boo-ton๐ it was only a matter of time before Hawley began to lead McCaskill, that's why I'm skeptical of the fact that Dean Heller is 'leading' Jacky Rosen
because it's a matter of name recognition. McCaskill and Heller are the incumbents, but the state they're in isn't particularly friendly to their party. So a challenger with less name recognition, months away from November, might be 'behind' in the polls but that's because people don't recognize the name as much.
@Nuke I wouldn't be surprised if there's a clear difference between, say, the 18-20 (early Gen Z crowd) and the 27-37 (early Millennial) crowd
those born in 1981-1990 are generally to the left of those born 1996-2000
Yep.
Because 9/11 and Bushism have an extremely profound influence on younger kids
also outright moral repugnance was surprisingly common in my teens
like people would openly be disgusted by others' behavior
Pretty interesting transition point, really
In 2016, 48% White Millennials leaned Democrat & 36% Republican. In 2018, things almost completely reversed, with 46% preferring GOP
@FLanon and yes
Whites 18-29: 43% Clinton & 47% Trump
Stronger majorities among older groups
@๐Boo-ton๐ I thought we're suppose to rally behind Cox.
Allen got booed for saying he was going to get rid of sanctuary cities... I just...
pls my state
gotta be decisive, my gut's telling me allen
Allen can't win here
There's just not enough right wing votes
@๐Boo-ton๐ Looks like those Dank Memes are having their effect on the Millienial Generation
I think it's just them aging
>mfw I can spot BM in /ptg/ threads
nah its that meme magic
Does anyone seriously believe that had an impact?
what had an impact ?
maymay magic
Got a few new people to join
@RoastedAdawg thanks
Np
who's jim christiana?
No one knows
we abandoning barletta?
@Nuke so why did you replace Barletta ?
I'm not aware of the alternatives
Hi not aware of the alternatives, I'm Dad!
@Deleted User We discussed it last night. His social media presence was so bad we'd have to actively defend it ourselves, and he's also not as good on policy.
oh, you're referring to Barletta as someone whose social media presence is bad?
how's Jim Christiana when it comes to that
