God, a spirit hovering over an empty, watery void, creates the world by speaking into the darkness and calling into being light(big bang), sky, land, vegetation, and living creatures(evolution takes place here) over the course of six days(6 million/billion? years) to pronounce his works โ€œgoodโ€ (1:4). On the sixth day, God declares his intention to make a being in his โ€œown image,โ€ and he creates humankind (humans evolve separating us from the animals). He fashions a man out of dust(amino acids) and forms a woman out of the manโ€™s rib. God places the two people, Adam and Eve, in the idyllic garden of Eden, encouraging them to procreate and to enjoy the created world fully, and forbidding them to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

read whats in () to understand my connections

2019-04-22 15:01:41 UTC

I just think with so much more similarity's they could both be the same

2019-04-22 15:02:06 UTC

and we've been arguing for no reason

2019-04-22 15:02:57 UTC

just my thoughts on the matter

2019-04-22 15:03:03 UTC

๐Ÿ’ฏ

2019-04-22 15:04:19 UTC

@Pinnaplia has a point (I didnt read up before saying what I said)

2019-04-22 16:24:40 UTC

I have heard people talking about that before and it is quite interesting and makes more sense in my opinion
Now I am not a christian or super religious but I still find it interesting

2019-04-22 16:27:28 UTC

what came first -> evolution theory or the bible?

2019-04-22 16:28:13 UTC

bible just being first testament

2019-04-22 16:28:28 UTC

genesis

2019-04-22 16:29:05 UTC

and to have such similaritys

2019-04-22 16:29:24 UTC

with evolution

2019-04-22 16:30:33 UTC

its something to think about

2019-04-22 16:32:50 UTC

It is pretty interesting
And a very different way on view on Christianity

2019-04-22 16:35:04 UTC

perhaps one day the world will know

2019-04-22 16:38:31 UTC

I donโ€™t believe in any god so I so donโ€™t think we will ever know
Only i death we will know I guess??

2019-04-23 21:55:33 UTC

@Treeling and @Pinnaplia the only problem that I can say definitively with your theories is that the context the word day ,or yom in Hebrew. The word in their language is as flexible as ours. The context states evening and morning ,and it states the number; which sorry for having to use other books for more proof; in Exodus 20:9 when the Ten Commandments are given it stated a number before the day. Jesus stated Himself โ€œAt the beginning of creation, God made them male and female.โ€
โ€ญโ€ญMarkโ€ฌ โ€ญ10:6โ€ฌ โ€ญCEBโ€ฌโ€ฌ, which makes no sense if there was billions of years between the beginning and man. This was Jesus reference to Genesis 1:27. All this to say that the day in the Creation account of the Bible is a literal 24 hour day. Now I believe in God and the Bible, but to say that your theories are correct is inaccurate. The Creation account is not proving evolution.

2019-04-23 21:55:33 UTC

**Exodus 20:9 - New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)**

```Dust
<9> Six days you shall labor and do all your work. ```
2019-04-23 21:55:33 UTC
**Genesis 1:27 - New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)**
```Dust

<27> So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. ```

2019-04-23 22:00:57 UTC

@Treeling @Pinnaplia thereโ€™s more proof

2019-04-23 22:29:13 UTC

@Depression2405 Well, considering that then the only way to combine the two is to acknowledge the possibility of mistranslation or mistakes in the Bible, otherwise this is too far out of my experience and religious knowledge to attempt to prove, disprove, or even comment. But I do have to say good job on the research.

Egyptians and Summerians had science.religion and medicine and astrology connected together

2019-04-26 13:07:33 UTC

we pull em apart, thats why we cannot understand them

2019-04-26 13:08:43 UTC

Science says relies on "Big Boom" theory in order to confirm evolution and life

2019-04-26 13:08:51 UTC

the funniest theory ive ever heard is

2019-04-26 13:09:17 UTC

"An asteroid hit the earth billions of years ago and that shock made bacterias and today they are evolved into animals"

2019-04-26 13:09:30 UTC

almost everyday a planet gets hit by something, i dont see life

2019-04-26 13:10:08 UTC

If asteroids and comets bring life then is hould have happened on the moon already

2019-04-26 13:10:19 UTC

we have clear evidence that its bombed as hell XD

Similarities between Christianity and the Bible

2019-04-26 13:12:02 UTC

and same phenomenas

2019-04-26 13:12:26 UTC

only the scietists seems too BUSY to even open up a book and compare it to the mainstream knowledge, maybe it would fit.

2019-04-26 15:19:48 UTC

We have factual evidence of planetary life sustainability, and why the moon can't hold life.

2019-04-26 15:20:03 UTC

The moon doesn't have an atmosphere

2019-04-26 15:20:51 UTC

But we also don't have evidence that their isn't life underneath the moons surface

2019-04-26 15:21:38 UTC

We don't know if there is or isn't life on the moon

2019-04-26 15:21:41 UTC

But

2019-04-26 15:23:06 UTC

There are many solar systems in our milky way galaxy, and there are many galaxies in our cluster, and many clusters in our super cluster.

2019-04-26 15:23:56 UTC

So not that unlikely there is life on 1 of the millions, if not billions of solar systems in the universe

2019-04-26 15:24:12 UTC

We just have no way of knowing.

2019-04-26 15:46:45 UTC

@Creating_Worlds well, let's say the PLANTS were the 1st sign of life and they made an atmosphere which is suitable for all the creatures here, but that doesn't mean others need the exact SAME atmosphere in order to live.

2019-04-26 15:57:32 UTC

Well the moon isn't exactly a warm environment for plants

2019-04-26 15:58:17 UTC

Plus you Need an atmosphere for life to grow

2019-04-26 15:58:49 UTC

I Can understand, different atmospheres might make different life

2019-04-26 15:59:19 UTC

That's a good theory I'm willing to belive

2019-04-26 16:00:46 UTC

But unless the life you're talking about thrives in acual space, then no, life can't be sustained on the surface of the moon

2019-04-26 16:03:53 UTC

I think you underestimate the power of Nature and how adaptable it can be, I can easily see Giant Insects living in space. :3

I know a troll when I see it

2019-04-26 16:11:43 UTC

@Happygrandad Just because monkeys today have certain aspects of humans they are all of a sudden un-evolved humans or whatever.
Dog breeds are different.

2019-04-26 16:12:05 UTC

nah monkeys aren't unevolved humans

2019-04-26 16:12:11 UTC

evolution is like a tree

2019-04-26 16:12:19 UTC

You know what I mean.

2019-04-26 16:12:24 UTC

yeah

2019-04-26 16:12:31 UTC

Dog breeds are similar

2019-04-26 16:12:36 UTC

Natural selection

2019-04-26 16:12:53 UTC

taking the aspects of dogs they want and breeding them

2019-04-26 16:13:06 UTC

basically what evolution is

2019-04-26 16:13:08 UTC

Dog breeds are completely different, they didn't natural turn into all of these breeds.

2019-04-26 16:13:14 UTC

the weaker ones die in evolution

2019-04-26 16:13:18 UTC

Humans forced it onto them and started a chain.

2019-04-26 16:13:24 UTC

nah but i mean how they evolve is the same

2019-04-26 16:13:43 UTC

I see.

2019-04-26 16:14:06 UTC

animals with weaker abilities die

2019-04-26 16:14:20 UTC

so animals evolve to there surrounding

2019-04-26 16:14:25 UTC

the best adapted survive

2019-04-26 16:15:02 UTC

That's not really what evolution is.

2019-04-26 16:15:18 UTC

That's adaption.

2019-04-26 16:15:40 UTC

Animals more fit to their environment reproduce more, and will gradually change their species' gene pool to favour those genes that allow for greater survival/reproduction.

2019-04-26 16:15:55 UTC

^

2019-04-26 16:16:46 UTC

lol idk i'm not an expert

2019-04-26 16:16:52 UTC

I don't care if you live to be 100 years old. If you have 0 kids, a guy who dies at 30 and leaves 4 kids behind will have infinitely more impact on the future gene pool than you will.

2019-04-26 16:17:15 UTC

It's really more like "reproduction of the fittest" than "survival of the fittest."

2019-04-26 16:17:22 UTC

lol

2019-04-26 16:17:32 UTC

not with humans tho cos most people can reproduce

2019-04-26 16:17:42 UTC

wait nvm

2019-04-26 16:17:49 UTC

But some people never bother.

2019-04-26 16:17:53 UTC

Not that all humans want to have children.

2019-04-26 16:18:02 UTC

idk how they don't want to

2019-04-26 16:18:04 UTC

Most children are mistakes sadly enough.

2019-04-26 16:18:14 UTC

there consciousness is overwriting there instict

2019-04-26 16:18:18 UTC

it's weird

2019-04-26 16:19:56 UTC

more like survival of the fittest depends on the environment

2019-04-26 16:20:02 UTC

But now you know my problem with evolution.

2019-04-26 16:20:12 UTC

What is it?

2019-04-26 16:20:21 UTC

My problem with evolution?

2019-04-26 16:20:24 UTC

Yeah

2019-04-26 16:20:45 UTC

Animals evolving into different species.

2019-04-26 16:21:32 UTC

That it cant happen?

2019-04-26 16:23:07 UTC

It's more so how humans became to be is my problem with the concept of evolution, thus the whole "Animals evolving into different species".

2019-04-26 16:24:37 UTC

Humans are smelly

2019-04-26 16:27:06 UTC

Truly.

2019-04-26 16:40:10 UTC

Humans are what primal apes turned into, they wanted to use their arms for grabbing higher things, they evolved to have their spines upright

2019-04-26 16:41:09 UTC

But evolution, is basically working out over generations

2019-04-26 16:41:43 UTC

Teaching the young how to work out their body

2019-04-26 16:42:36 UTC

And helping the next generation along

2019-04-26 16:43:08 UTC

And teaching the next generation how to help the generation after

2019-04-26 16:45:50 UTC

Clearly this is the most ridiculous thing you'll ever hear.

2019-04-26 16:55:54 UTC

i thought the working of the body was only to do with instinct o.o

2019-04-26 17:49:13 UTC

So apes turned into liberals?

2019-04-26 17:49:45 UTC

What was the benefit?

2019-04-28 08:26:17 UTC

I agree with Diggs

2019-04-28 15:23:49 UTC

To bad evolution isnt real

2019-04-28 15:28:57 UTC

So is darwins theory correct? Or are ppl still figuring out new things and do these new things support darwin?

2019-04-28 15:29:33 UTC

They tell you right there darwins tree theory is wrong

2019-04-28 15:31:15 UTC

For instance they know we didnt evolve from Neanderthals

2019-04-28 15:31:45 UTC

They used to teach kids that modern human evolved from Neanderthals

2019-04-28 15:32:11 UTC

Now they have evidence that humans used to breed with Neanderthals

2019-04-28 15:33:57 UTC

Believing in darwins evolution is a religion. If you dont ask questions and continue to try and find new answers to questions that havent been answered then you are dismissing science and stuck in a dogma

2019-04-28 22:14:50 UTC

Lol it isn't a religion dude. No worshipping going on there.

2019-04-29 15:41:31 UTC

Darwinโ€™s theory of evolution isnโ€™t Proved but it isnโ€™t false either that is why it is still a theory

2019-04-29 15:44:32 UTC

There isnโ€™t a way to prove it either but we do have evidence of Common descent

2019-04-29 16:33:17 UTC

No you dont

2019-04-29 16:33:30 UTC

No observeable proof of evolution

2019-04-29 17:08:29 UTC

2019-04-30 15:35:50 UTC

2019-04-30 15:35:57 UTC

2019-05-10 17:22:14 UTC

2019-05-14 13:34:28 UTC

Imagine being this guy and legitimately asking "what will we turn into"

2019-05-14 13:35:44 UTC

Human evolution will go at a snail's pace due to lack of actual natural selection and the presence of healthcare, which aids to the lack of natural selection

2019-05-14 13:36:40 UTC

Humans will likely go extinct before any major changes can happen

Geez I'm reading the message history in here and Im losing 20 brain cells a second

2019-05-14 14:22:33 UTC

Why is @Creating_Worlds the only person in here with some sense lol

2019-05-15 00:46:52 UTC

No observable proof of the theory of evolution

2019-05-15 07:22:01 UTC

@Citizen Z Giraffeโ€™s laryngeal nerve?

2019-05-15 13:49:18 UTC

@Citizen Z, evolution is defined as change in allele frequency (basically how often the genotype comes up) over time. If you believe that alleles exist and that for any reason the genotype frequencies (the amount of times the genotype comes up compared to a whole population) could change (eg due to random chance, natural selection, artificial selection, immigration to the area, death rates, birth rates, etc) you believe in the idea of evolution

2019-05-15 13:51:12 UTC

Also there is very easily obserable data when you see how rapidly bacteria and viruses mutate and we can find rapid evolution in bacteria when you get the right experiment

2019-05-16 00:13:57 UTC

K what will we change into? @the21cat

2019-05-16 00:14:30 UTC

Maybe back ti apes? Maybe we are turning into snakes?

2019-05-16 00:15:21 UTC

Maybe we will turn back to an amoeba

2019-05-16 00:15:59 UTC

Heck maybe we will devolve back to rock babies

2019-05-16 00:43:58 UTC

not really anything; higher allele frequency of disadvantageous traits; higher allele frequency of a few advantageous traits like more immunity to heart disease; I don't really know other than the disadvantageous traits becoming slightly more common. only time will tell- except the time stone doctor strange has, that too

2019-05-16 00:44:17 UTC

Point is we don't know what mutations will happen where

2019-05-16 00:44:51 UTC

Actually I take all that back we will reach closer to a rate of Hardy Weinburg equillibrium

2019-05-16 00:45:16 UTC

Because we have basically no natural selection action on us

2019-05-16 00:51:31 UTC

It means our alleles will just kinda spread out through the global population

2019-05-16 02:55:19 UTC

2019-05-16 12:41:43 UTC

@Citizen Z thats not how evolution works

2019-05-16 12:42:01 UTC

I think you are evolving

2019-05-16 12:42:10 UTC

Um no

2019-05-16 12:42:14 UTC

Question is into what?

2019-05-16 12:42:21 UTC

Evolution is the action of adapting

2019-05-16 12:42:41 UTC

Then you evolving into a rat

2019-05-16 12:42:56 UTC

No once again not how evolution works

2019-05-16 12:43:43 UTC

Evolution is the gradual development of a trait due to surround variables

2019-05-16 12:45:43 UTC

So you are turning into a rat snake

2019-05-16 12:47:54 UTC

No

2019-05-16 12:48:20 UTC

Evolution is actually better describe as development

2019-05-16 12:49:47 UTC

We develop new traits through random mutations that can be beneficial or possibly harmful. The traits can stick and spread throughout the population or go away due to natural selection

2019-05-16 14:23:04 UTC

The smallest unit that can evolve is a population so no Citizen

2019-05-16 14:24:37 UTC

Also that makes no sense. We arent going to turn into rat snakes unless we start genetic engineering ourselves. Its statistically impossible even over a pretty large time frame
