First off we can solve cancer with chemicals as the source states, 2nd off using organic molecules, which is what 99% of drugs are seems like a pretty natural way to go. Seems impossible if you ask me. The blood ph is maintained between an optimal range of 7.35-7.45. Raising or lowering it is difficult without chemicals because the body has a bicarbonate carbonic acid buffer system plus it can be buffered by breathing rate too because disolved CO2 is actually acidic. Which means the only actual way too raise the blood ph up for a reasonable amount of time is by inserting a very specific weak base into the blood stream. This would also cause the breathing rate to slow down a lot but its only like 0.05 higher so that probably wouldnt be too bad. Still point ia they have to use some chemical in the first place to raise the blood ph otherwise it wouldnt work. And im going to take a wild guess and say that chemical is probably bicarbonate because its easiest to obtain and should have literally nothing wrong with it
