To be clear I think faking this kind of stuff during the space race is a very plausible conspiracy with a clear motive and also something that would be easy to fake. I still think the earth is round, but am open to other ways of thinking regarding that.

We've established that there are many satanists in power. It'd make sense for them to want to secularize the world, since it would be in line with their goals to keep people from believing in god. Creating a narrative wherein they teach that the earth is actually a globe and many things can be explained through science would allow them to achieve that goal. I still doubt that there would be so many people that would be willing to go along with such a plan but that's the main reason I can think of.

I also don't think atheists would be linked to this conspiracy, since it shouldn't matter to them whether or not people believe in god.

O well there are a lot of reasons for a few examples: For money (maybe?), to hide more land that is on earth (unlikely), for power (also unlikely), for God (lol wat), because there is no God ( <:lul:484994724118134784> ) to more reasonable answers like: The fact that there is no life outside from earth and they are hiding the fact for our 'greater' good by continuing to push that we are on a globe earth and there are *clearly* things out there it is pretty obvious now that we have never had any contact from things outside of this world in 'space' and we wont ever. Going to another planet is also out of the question, and it will never happen during our lifetimes I can assure you of that so in the end it could be for money or they just dont want to know for another reason (seems to be all about the money tbh)

To be clear though space itself isn't a vacuum. Spacecrafts and the like are pressurized and filled with air. Space is relatively empty, which makes for extremely low pressure. This is what causes space to act like a vacuum. It's not constantly sucking.
