And what is your assessment? Was it that Satan likes FEs?
@MR VLAK i mentioned this not too long ago, he fits the biblical archetype of Lucifers fall right out of scripture. The darkness (ignorance) is strong within him... So yeah
Sooo... All that effort recording the height on a real scale earth, crashing my pc was pointless... Man, and i just had to do the final editing today with music and some voice over, all for nothing lol.
Finish it anyway.
Yeah maybe, for whom though
Well you put the time and effort into it so if for no one else, do it for yourself. I would like to see it.
Well, let me look for a good song... I have one of the plane at around 900ft looking out the side of the plane at the horizon.. Looks pretty flat and then another starting at ground level floating upwards keeping an eye on the horizon like the balloon thing he shows. Only problem is unlike the plane, this view doesn't have an altitude measurement system so can't tell how high it is at any given time... But it zooms out to capture the entire globe in all its glory. Just need some good music to go with it.. Pink Floyd maybe? I wanted to include the song the man who sold the world, but midge ures version... Would have been suitable for deejay
Jeez upload to YouTube will probably be a killer too
@Sheamus Boy, did you do some real effort. I would also like to see it when / if you finish it.
At least we ready for the next flat earth person coming along, >> "and your work can be used by others to fight the "Dark Emperor" somewhere else" <<
@Guss lol yeah, well I will try and see to upload it, maybe over night or something
After reading the the past 3 days chat I cant believe he left
Yeah he really can't grasp the sheer size of the planet, I think that is what is getting at him, even with his camera footage, he doesnt understand that the camera has a really tiny FOV focused on the horizon, which is nothing compared to the full size of the planet. Can only capture the curve with a wider FOV.
What do you guys think cause people to get into this mind set?
@Sheamus possibly not eating for 3days could cause hallucinations, he wasn't crazy he was just hungry
Hahaha nah, I have done the fasting, and it does not do that... this had to come about another way. Also dont believe the drugs are the cause because i did those too, and I too am not that immature and ignorant, same goes with reading literature, I had read all the same literature and I can still reason fine... There is something else driving this madness
@Sheamus it is the fact that people are questioning everything as we become more aware of deliberate miss information. History, technology, society and religions have all been controlled and altered. Now as we start to question we resonate with wat seems plausable and we thirst for truth.
I agree with that, I would say that really is the fuel that this madness runs on, but it certainly is not the engine, or event he driver behind the wheel if you catch my drift... lol,
This isnt the place to post politiscales
Yeah, why even info wars, shill yourself will proabbly be more relevant lol
I guess everyone is bored here in the absence of our friend
lol
@Sheamus
"What do you guys think cause people to get into this mind set?"
I'm sure its a very sad, sad story.
"belongingness "
"want to stand out"
"proof yourself"
???
Sad life
Yeah no dount @Guss pretty sure there is a sad story behind it... That denial he is in, clearly he is looking for help, but he found this false enlightenment
No skills no education
Brainwashed over the reason of "its different so it has to be true"
Lets see if his fuckbuddy PrOtEsTaNt gonna leave too
i think it is probably a hate for the majority, and so want to find a means to seperate themselves from the majority?
@4rvp Maybe yes... but why get brainwashed? You think some people is more acceptable, or is it just a lack of some import kind of intelligence. (logic)
I am almost sure that guy is troll, he just popped out of nowhere and regurgitating what Deejay was saying...
Well theres a different between being brainwashed and ignorant
Someone who is ignorant has a potential to change upon review of the outstanding evidence to make them change their viewpoint
Someone who is brainwashed has a blind loyalty to their viewpoint, impossible to change their mind unless
Well, unless theyre on a deathbed
I dont know het, ignorance hand in hand with pride is pretty stubborn in itself
yea, I wanted to say "at gun point"
And hes 46
Closer to death than me
Someone needs to take over now, to fill the void
Soon his buddy protestant
you know, after watching full metal jacket, and then contemplating this whole anti bullying campaign.... I think perhaps there is a strong correlation with this degree of arrogance... starting to think bullying is actually a good thing lol
I'm 49..... But I would like to hear MORE before I die.... not get stacked in one gear.
Bullying is the only way lids can get thick skin
Essentially darwinism
Kids**
sometimes
sometimes it ends up like me
Like their parents are gonna criticize them
id probably end up lighting up everyone at the school reunion if I went
Yeah it reaches a point where debating doesn't work anymore almost like the left vs right happening in America
@Noa - You right. It depends on the "make-up" of the individual..........
I was never bullied but
Because of that i had some insecurities when i sas younger
That nobody pointed out til i was around 14
When i pointed them out myseld
i had scoliosis that was only operated on after i had left school
But old men over 40, that try and sell his dumb ass shit to young people, just deserve what is coming his way. He should know he does not have the stamina.... he should have learned it by now
I wonder if he'll come back
Hope not
Hope he throws out his computer and gets a job
Naah he'lll get bored of all the youtube comment sections then he'll be back
Gets a proper education
Gets a fucking girlfriend
๐ Poor chick
She will probably need to be flat chested
flat brained aswell
lol
:D
It'd be so epic if earth turns out to be flat :D :D
my prejudiced senses agree with you, my reason not so much... but I dont know for certain yet, i just use what works and have faith in reason... If reason lied to me, and my prejudiced senses are indeed correct... I dont knwo how I would react to that honestly lol
@Sheamus also want to see the creation your pc had to crunch so hard for. This debate was funny for a while then it got messy and deejay just could not get anything else through his skull... well done everyone who refused to forsake reason and logic for madness.
@Sidius thanks, to be honest the video isn't really much, too show off other than the sheer size of the globe, and i had to do it really slowly to really capture that. Had to lower a few settings and also a lower resolution. To be honest, it would probably be more useful to check out the tech for yourself, i think maybe exploring it for ones own self is worth while. Has a real 1:1 world scale, using real world data to build terrain, you can jump around the map using Google maps, and also best part is unlimited view distance, so what you see on screen in the distance is actually generated. You also you get a cessna plane for air exploration and a truck for ground exploration, or you could just fly the camera around.
There's a quick video, mine was similar to that, but in reverse, starting on earth by table mountain, and then flying out, ah at a much slower pace
check out Titan Vanguard
made in the outerra engine not for civi use
yet
Yeah lol titan uses that engine lol
I just discovered the engine was using a 1:1 ratio scale with Google maps, that's about as legit as it gets. Also it has a plane avaliable to get that screenshot out of the plane view at altitude. I think maybe if the flat earthers can play with that they can grasp the sheer size of earth, and why things can appear flat even at rather high altitudes, not to mention it allows to change FOV, the wider it goes, the easier it is to see the curve, so if they are concerned about "fish eye lenses", they can experiment with the FOV to match a camera lense and compare the results.
Great work Sheamus
Seeing all that stuff rendering mustve been pain to render in the first place
A Sputnik-era dream: NASA spacecraft hurtles toward the sun - Breitbart https://www.breitbart.com/news/a-sputnik-era-dream-nasa-spacecraft-hurtles-toward-the-sun/
Could it be that climate change is also influenced by the sun? Who knows but let's hope this gives us some more insight
Yeah would be interesting to know more about the sun.
Good thing they're going at night
Otherwise they'd be burnt up

Hmmm...
Good thing we got rid of Deejay. Wouldn't want all this conversation to be dominated by just one guy...
๐
When we were cheering the admins probably didn't feel mutual lol... No wait, i think they are happy not to be pinged at 4am the mornings lol... I dunno, though, perhaps we were a bit harsh and scared away potential entertainers? That friend of his hasn't said a word since. I dunno why though, all we seek to do is reason about our evidence until we find an objective agreement.
It wasn't Deejay pinging the admins at 4am
It wasn't? ๐
Damn, no one corrected me before
No it wasn't.
Enlighten me please so that i may not be stray from the truth please?
Anyone keen to convince me God is real so I don't burn in hell? ๐
@DrLoLCat maybe define the God you refer to? Lol.. And are willing to entertain idea without accepting it, and wait till the very end before casting judgment? If you can do those, shouldn't be a struggle getting you to open up to new perspectives, ideas and values.
@Sheamus the Christian God. the father of Jesus Christ. The one from the Bible. Did believe in that one for 22 years of my life. I'm open minded...I think. Just not sure whether I can ever accept having blind faith again. When Willem said that atheists are diminishing in percentage, I found that very interesting. At the very least I will have a better understanding why some (most?) here believe in it. And I def want to stay in Orania perhaps in the future. Guess I assumed that atheism or rather agnosticism was a default state for intellectuals / scientists. For me it's not something very personal. It's either true or not, and I'm either eventually gonna burn in hell for eternity or rot in the ground.
@DrLoLCat being reasonable is not a matter of blind faith though. And by definition i meant your understanding of God. Typically atheists refer to God as the old bearded fairy man in the sky, is that your definition of God as well?
@Sheamus No, my definition of God would be an almighty entity that created the universe.
@DrLoLCat still quite a bit vague, but at least it's not some material ideal. Lol
@Sheamus that's the best I got, honestly. What's your definition if I may ask?
@DrLoLCat if by evolution you mean we started off as fish that grew legs.. Then no. But there is merit to some aspects of the theory which I'm okay with. And my interpretation of creation is not a scientific statement.
Here's the best definition of God which man has ever come up with.
First, from the Westminster Confession of Faith:
And then from the Westminster Larger Catechism:
@Malcolm the Seceder thank you for all of that lol
Don't thank me. Thank the Westminster Divines
Okay, hectic.... thanks. I feel like there is some contradictions in there. Forgiving.....not clear the guilty..... terrible in His judgement.
Put Christ in the middle of it, then all the seeming contradictions are removed. He took upon Himself his people's sin and paid the penalty and so His righteousness is imputed to them.
I understand that applied to future sin and not only sin up to that point? Meaning @Malcolm the Seceder 's sin is also taken upon Christ Himself?
Christ's sacrifice for His people- the elect- applies to all sin they have ever committed: so when a sinner is converted at the age of 30 and has the righteousness of Christ imputed to him, his sins are forgiven: all the sins he had committed up to that point and all future sins. (Although he still has to ask forgiveness for future sins).
Christ's sacrifice also atoned for the sins of all His people who were on Earth before He came
@Malcolm the Seceder So then..... why do you believe it? In other words, why are you a Christian?
Why not believe in forgiveness... It's reasonable isn't it, someone acknowledges they do wrong, and then making every attempt to do right?
I mean, why do you believe in the Holy Trinity, why do you believe in the Bible?
Have you read it? I mean genuinely read it, casting your prejudices aside and not judging the words, but reasoning with the meaning behind it... It's pretty convincing when your feelings aren't dictating your reasons for rejecting it.
I have read it, but I'll probably have to give it another go now that I'm older.
Yes, it helps, and after you read it, would be worth reading it again with the knowledge of later parts again... It's a study, not just a good read.
A fresh attempt at Christianity sounds good, without the childhood indoctrination.
So basically the content of the Bible itself convinced you that it's real. I can roll with that
What do mean by "that it's real"?
That the Holy Trinity God exists
That Jesus died on a cross for your sins
That Jonah was swallowed by a whale (maybe?)
etc.
Personally, I have for a long time subscribed to the idea that we simply cannot determine how we came to be, as in, how the planets came to be, or how life came to be. And that we must accept that ignorance.
The whale did swallow Jonah right? It's not some figurative meaning story or sumthing right?
Lol, yeah... Don't judge words on their appearances, but observe the meanings and judge righteous judgement.
That sounds hard, I take things literally
Yes, materialism is tempting, distracting and deceptive, that's mother nature for you lol... Father God is reasonable and understanding. Find some balance between the material and the spiritual. It's not easy, but it does become easier as you make progress, each day becoming a better you, than you were the day before.
Thanks for that. Must say though, some actual proof that I can see with my eyes would also make it very easy.
Like actually seeing a miracle performed in the name of Jesus / God
I'ma be honest, that would make me a believer in an instant
I have never encountered anything super natural in my life
Why though, do you believe your biological senses provide an accurate and direct experience of reality? Or are your senses only interpreting reality for you to process and consume it indirectly?
I experienced something during a Christian event. I was in tears for no apparent reason..I have also witnessed someone being overcome by something and the person speaking in tongues. But still I am sceptical of the trinity. I however believe in God.
I think I am a pantheist
overly simplified but something like this
The ALL personified as God?
I have to believe in my biological senses to provide an accurate experience of reality in the absence of believing in the super natural. Seems like a catch 22. It is all I have to base reality upon.
It's not all you have, it's very limiting to even accept that that's all you have. But why do you think that's all you have? Do you think you are the flesh?
@DrLoLCat Well the short answer is because God converted me
the difficult truth one accepts as an agnostic
@DrLoLCat you sure? If so, can you directly control your flesh? I mean as in make your heartbeat go faster or slower at will, without indirectly influencing with activity to speed it up and relaxing to slow it down again? Simple example, but there is a lot examples such as that, such as putting yourself to sleep at will without influencing it with light, comfort and safety, make yourself blind and undo it, control your blood pressure etc.
I've tried these things, I've failed... I've come to the conclusion that the flesh is merely a meatsuit, my person, my helper, and i can only influence it with my will and knowledge to indirectly control it, but i cannot directly control it.
So I've concluded that i am not the flesh, and that it is merely my servant, or slave if you are into that mindset that willing servants are also slaves. While i wish to trust its interpretation of reality, i know its sins, and i know its prejudices. I don't trust it all that much, for if i did, i would be a lost cause, like a flat earther. But i do master it, reason with it, and understand it, then filter out it's prejudices and consider its selfishness, reason until the subjectivity is removed and I'm left with what is pure, the objective, the truth, and that's my closest encounter with direct reality.
That all said, I'm not saying i have the purest truth, as the verse in Jeremiah goes: "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" and though i know it, i don't know all of it, there is still so much I'm struggling with, with regards to myself, because i still deceive myself, and i recognize it, and reason with it. My self mastery is not complete, but each day I'm a better person than i was the day before.
Maybe there really is a difference in people, maybe there are people that can control their flesh directly in such a means that they are genuinely the flesh, and they might not be experiencing being the same way i do lol, i think those who claim to be the flesh mostly just are deceived by their own prejudices and sins, so that they may justify their sins.
๐
Now you have some insight to my perspective, and by no means do i say i have it right lol, but perhaps assists you in understanding how i got convinced of my perception and understanding, and why i willingly serve a greater idea, than my hearts selfish desires.
And sorry for the wall of text lol
@Malcolm the Seceder okay.. ๐ there's a teaching though, a principle behind it. I would rather place my emphasis on the teaching.
Of course but the historicity is also important. Unless there's a clear reason to think something is purely symbolic we should take it as read though
The spiritual meaning of the events is based in their historicity. God made these events happen as tools for teaching
The history of Israel is representative of the life of the believer and his relationship with Christ
I don't oppose the idea, like your claim about the whale, sure enough there are claims of others who survived being swallowed by a whale too, though very difficult to really confirm this as they are claims without witnesses or any other form of actual evidence, and there are many arguments for and against it too. Some say it's impossible because the throat or esophagus of the whale isn't big enough for a human, others say it's possible because they've found objects larger than a human inside of a whale, and the arguments go a long way.
We can spend a lot of time trying to reason about that for sure, it might bring this group back to life lol but again, my emphasis really falls on the teachings here. Context is important no doubt, but the principle takes the highest priority.
As an individual i prefer discovering what i believe, rather than being told what to believe. I would imagine for someone like DrLoLCat, that discovering what he believes would be more useful and actually more interesting than being told what to believe. It's a journey of self discovery really.
Well Scripture tells us it happened so that is why we should believe it. It was a miraculous event. We don't need scientists to explain how it could have happened
hey guys check this out

The basis of a video I'll be making soon v
Nah i don't know about that... To be honest. Interesting idea to explore, but i don't think this will be a problem unless someone wants it to be... I can imagine someone would likely program it to be biased in how it should define progressive though... Can see where that would lead possibly.
So where do you guys think the world would be right now if Adolf Hitler did not die that day that he did?
challenging question ๐
@Sidius some claim he never died, and went into hiding. In which case the world wouldn't be much different than it is today lol.
there are strange happenings after world war 2, for instance https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Paperclip. so it is up in the air when considering what really happened. paperclip was not common knowledge until recently.
the world is not what we are told
Also women started to wear pants, to work, and divorce became a big social phenomenon overnight.
What if the Germans won WW2 and became the supreme power on the globe after demolishing America as we know it today? Think the world would be better off without those things happening or not so much?
I don't know personally, it's hard to say really from my own opinion because there still remains too much controversy around the truth, since propaganda is such a mess to sort out to get a really pure truth. Without that objective truth, it's hard to predict anything really.
The bigger tragedy is the loss of the British Empire
Too name tragedies in the past... Let's look towards a brighter future that we are responsible for.
To a new British Empire. Agreed.
And a new and independent volkstaat.
๐
@Sheamus as I said, that's the basis of the video - the starting off point. I'm going to be discussing something else entirely. I agree with you though - it's a thought experiment, not a definite scenario
@SGL well share the video when you done, would like to hear what you have to say.
๐
It'll still be a while, though, I'll try to have it done by the weekend

What could cause it to explode?
No major fault lines...
