purses are rarely in a place i'd consider "their possession" when ladies get to a destination. Both from a safety and a defense position, it is usually only in a good spot when walking from x to y. Unless a holster where it is always in a good spot, regardless of walking, sitting, or driving. On the ground near your seat (where you need to stretch down to get) or on a hook under a bar, i wouldn't call those good places.

The only good place for it aside from a lock box of some kind is on your shoulder. Something I don't think most women do while sitting at a desk all day, nor can do while driving. With a gun in a holster, it is always on you at all times regardless of activity and should the gun be required to be removed, say in a store that asks you leave it in the car or in a lock box at the store entrance, it should be locked up.

afaik, Norway has basically socialised their massive oil reserve, meaning that the money gained from it is used to fund their schools, pensions etc

But neither sweden nor norway has had workers seize the means of production, or banned free market

and if i recall correctly, until like 1980, sweden did have massive socialist systems that ruined their economy having them switch back

most of the Nordic countries have a freer market so that the economy actually has the room to afford their social nets. That doesn't mean they don't push things too far from time to time and shoot them selves in the foot, but its certainly not socialism. But they are different than the rest of the EU in that regard i think.

The 'nordic model' is at best classified as a social democracy, but it's defnitely capitalist as fuck.

The Norse have a so called 'oil fund' which is privately run, but majority owned by the government IIRC.
