2019-01-26 22:57:04 UTC

Having been to marches I can say that it matches the people I've met. Most are nice normal people. People aren't afraid to say what they think.

2019-01-26 22:58:12 UTC

and there are definitely strong opinions but for the most part people are fairly mixed in a good way.

2019-01-26 22:58:53 UTC

Much welcomes to all of the people โค

2019-01-26 22:58:56 UTC

Yeah, I think this movement is heavily criticised even tho most of the people in it are non extreme decent people

2019-01-26 22:59:23 UTC

is not just heavily criticized, its lied about

2019-01-26 23:00:02 UTC

Well if the group was what anti-Mrms say it is then I certainly wouldnโ€™t be here.

2019-01-26 23:00:19 UTC

So I think we are on the right track ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

2019-01-26 23:00:29 UTC

Yeah definitely

2019-01-26 23:04:45 UTC

I love when feminists tell me that the MRM hates women and donโ€™t stand for anything other then hating women and then accuse me of knowing nothing about feminism... she stopped responding to me but I did get downvoted a bit xD

2019-01-26 23:06:25 UTC

Haha

2019-01-26 23:08:41 UTC

Pretty sure I used to be a better Feminist then most of those keyboard warriors anyway, back when I volunteered at Zonta, I helped make the birthing kits they would send over to 3rd world countries, something you donโ€™t hear much about anymore because they get so enveloped in the dumb shit these days

2019-01-26 23:09:38 UTC

birthing kits?

2019-01-26 23:09:52 UTC

Isn't it funny how that is? So many people believe the MRM hates women, but they will jump down your throat at the implication that perhaps they hate men

2019-01-26 23:09:59 UTC

Yeah. Sounds like you actually tackled real issues instead of being worried about men opening their legs not to crush their manlihoods

2019-01-26 23:12:06 UTC

Well I looked into Zonta lately and they are just as feminist as the rest of them, took me a while to find the page for that program, the birthing kits where basically blankets, antibiotics, antiseptics and a few other things like formula, stuff like that, it was a while ago now.

2019-01-26 23:13:34 UTC

Interesting. My mother went back to university to train as a midwife. I'm always somewhat interested in medicine and public health

2019-01-26 23:14:24 UTC

She's had a horrible time of doing the course though. It truly is the definition of a toxic environment. But that's really a different story

2019-01-26 23:15:04 UTC

That's not good to hear, is it any better now

2019-01-26 23:16:21 UTC

It's not great but it's not a bad as it was. She ended up starting two different investigations into two different hospitals and training going on.

2019-01-26 23:17:17 UTC

She's probably one of the oldest people training in the country, and my Dad has helped a lot by going to meetings and seeing the bulshit they've pullled

2019-01-26 23:19:16 UTC

Glad to hear there is action being taken

2019-01-26 23:22:13 UTC

It seems to be a systemic thing though. One hospital is bad luck, two is a pattern. My ex GF was also training to be a midwife but quit because of the bullying and when there was a national story a few months back about a major incident in a london hospital that happened due to miscommunication I would say it's leaning towards a systemic issue

2019-01-26 23:23:59 UTC

These investigations should hopefully help put a dent in the issue though

2019-01-26 23:24:36 UTC

2019-01-26 23:27:21 UTC

Hopefully, but this is only individual hospitals. It's not made it to a national consciousness yet. It's made harder given the demographic. Women working with young mothers and babies. How could they ever be mean /s

2019-01-26 23:31:29 UTC

Well spending time in hospitals you could see it wasnโ€™t good, the nurses get really bitchy with each other with head nurse usually being the worst

2019-01-26 23:32:02 UTC

There seems to be a lot of corruption in caretaking in general, there's a lot of elder abuse in old folks' homes as well

2019-01-26 23:34:31 UTC

Did I ever tell you about the time where the nurses gave me dirty looks when I cleaned my dads balls for him because no one was cleaning him... also bringing him clean undies every week gets expensive because no one would help him wipe his bum

2019-01-26 23:35:26 UTC

No. That's fucked up

2019-01-26 23:35:27 UTC

That's awful

2019-01-26 23:35:59 UTC

I get that it's a stressful job, it probably has some negative mental impacts, but that's not okay

2019-01-26 23:36:13 UTC

I'm in favor of caretakers and police getting regular mental evaluations

2019-01-26 23:37:29 UTC

Well once when I wasnโ€™t there he tried to wipe himself and burst his stitches and got blood and lymph fluid all over the floor, was sitting the buzzing for the nurses for about 15 minutes because an angry nurse came in to yell at him for buzzing so much

2019-01-26 23:38:12 UTC

Holy hell, I think I'd much rather die before I ever had to be put in one of those places

2019-01-26 23:38:23 UTC

I am a full time caretaker now, itโ€™s fun how little support I get

2019-01-26 23:39:54 UTC

That's fucking disgusting. Surely that warrants being reported. Negligence leading to complications and harm. Not to mention psychological stress

2019-01-26 23:40:34 UTC

My dad talked to the solicitor and they said they didnโ€™t want the case

2019-01-26 23:41:45 UTC

There is a lot more shit that hospital did that they should be sued for, but itโ€™s a bit complicated

2019-01-26 23:42:08 UTC

Annoying but I understand.

2019-01-26 23:42:37 UTC

Without money things are difficult to fix or hold people accountable

2019-01-26 23:42:53 UTC

Also I think he is a bit done with courts on top of everything else xD

2019-01-26 23:43:32 UTC

Fair.

2019-01-26 23:44:45 UTC

Also child support was still happening when this was all happening xD

2019-01-26 23:45:46 UTC

Pretty difficult to fight a court case while also having to pay child support

2019-01-26 23:46:51 UTC

For context, my mum has kicked me out of home, my dad was in hospital and couldnโ€™t pay it, so I payed for the child support that was meant to me for raising me... the child

2019-01-26 23:47:11 UTC

System is fucked

2019-01-26 23:47:48 UTC

That is disgusting, are there no allowances for being *literally physically unable to work*?

2019-01-26 23:47:49 UTC

A genuinely Kafkaesque nightmare.

2019-01-26 23:48:22 UTC

Pretty sure there are laws where being in a coma is no excuse for missing support payments

2019-01-26 23:49:22 UTC

Well, shit. That might just be the best excuse I've ever seen to not get anyone pregnant

2019-01-26 23:49:50 UTC

Reminds me of seeing this today

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/512584678314606613/538868199303675924/708e361.jpg

2019-01-26 23:50:26 UTC

What would they even do to someone who's comatose and missing child support payments anyway? Cart his body off to court and then to prison? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

2019-01-26 23:50:51 UTC

Like I realize that's being facetious but how would they even enforce that

2019-01-26 23:51:10 UTC

Just financially ruin him when he wakes up.

2019-01-26 23:51:11 UTC

Well there was a guy who was captive in the Middle East, when he was finally released he was arrested as soon as he got home because of overdue child support

2019-01-26 23:52:30 UTC

So you say you are being facetious but I honestly wouldnโ€™t put that past them xD

2019-01-26 23:54:16 UTC

That is genuinely awful, imagine the kids being ecstatic just to have their father back from a life threatening situation, and then... boom, he's arrested

2019-01-26 23:55:30 UTC

Also if you miss one payment ever, no matter the reason, you are actually โ€œlegallyโ€ labeled as a deadbeat dad for the rest of your life

2019-01-26 23:56:05 UTC

Which can be held against you in future

2019-01-26 23:56:07 UTC

In court

2019-01-26 23:57:11 UTC

Sorry, just curious, what country do you live in? I noticed "mum" so presumably not America

2019-01-26 23:57:20 UTC

Australia

2019-01-26 23:57:30 UTC

๐Ÿ˜ƒ

2019-01-26 23:58:04 UTC

Child support seems to be unfair no matter the country, itโ€™s just insanity

2019-01-26 23:58:31 UTC

Australia is actually kind of lucky as it is one of few countries that doesnโ€™t have Alimony

2019-01-27 00:00:34 UTC

What about the "splitting the property" thing?

2019-01-27 00:01:55 UTC

Are you sure it's not just called spousal maintenance? That's what it is in the UK

2019-01-27 00:02:46 UTC

We're essentially the same country after all ๐Ÿ˜Ž

2019-01-27 00:03:00 UTC

Pfft, fucking poms xD

2019-01-27 00:03:11 UTC

And no, doesnโ€™t exist

2019-01-27 00:03:40 UTC

And what do you mean by splitting property? You mean like people fighting in courts on who gets to keep the TV?

2019-01-27 00:03:57 UTC

Or the house

2019-01-27 00:04:16 UTC

But that's surely different from alimony

2019-01-27 00:05:11 UTC

Itโ€™s just based on the courts rule, each partner makes a case on who has more right to the thing and the court decides who gets it

2019-01-27 00:05:39 UTC

Seems reasonable on the surface

2019-01-27 00:06:34 UTC

Well my dad lost the hose he paid for because mother needed it to raise us kinds that he now had no rights to.

2019-01-27 00:07:38 UTC

Yet he absolutely had "rights" to pay child support for kids he couldn't see... ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

2019-01-27 00:07:52 UTC

The system is so wacky

2019-01-27 00:07:54 UTC

Yeah, pretty much

2019-01-27 00:07:57 UTC

As I said "on the surface". The devil is in the detail and systemic discrimination

2019-01-27 00:08:28 UTC

I didnโ€™t know my dad growing up, and my mum has convinced us he was a bad person for many years

2019-01-27 00:08:48 UTC

Older we got to see him about once a year

2019-01-27 00:09:14 UTC

But then didnโ€™t seem him for about 3 years and it was because my mum had accused him is sexually assisting me

2019-01-27 00:09:59 UTC

When she kicked me out of home by dad came and got me, so we could be homeless together

2019-01-27 00:10:31 UTC

No one thought to confirm or deny that with you?

2019-01-27 00:10:38 UTC

Nope

2019-01-27 00:11:00 UTC

hai

2019-01-27 00:11:04 UTC

wat up

2019-01-27 00:11:15 UTC

That's wild, I would figure someone would have considered to ask you whether or not it was true before they took action against him

2019-01-27 00:11:18 UTC

Hey, welcome @Deleted User

2019-01-27 00:11:24 UTC

Hello

2019-01-27 00:13:13 UTC

Well when we tried to tell child support that I had been kicked out of home, they wouldnโ€™t listen, so they called my mum and she told them I was welcome home whenever, so they only called back to tell us that child support had to continue, I didnโ€™t get a say, they told me over the phone that โ€œthey donโ€™t get the children involvedโ€... I was 17 at the time.

2019-01-27 00:15:55 UTC

I wouldn't want to go home to someone so conniving. That's awful, is everything okay nowadays?

2019-01-27 00:17:02 UTC

She was an abusive alcoholic so I wasnโ€™t going back, lol

2019-01-27 00:17:31 UTC

And yeah, things can still be rough, money and my dads health the usual issues, but things are getting much better

2019-01-27 00:19:25 UTC

He doesnโ€™t want to talk about it much, he wants to leave it behind us and move on, but Iโ€™m a mad bitch and I want someone to answer for this shit!

2019-01-27 00:20:24 UTC

That's fair, I can see why you'd be drawn to the MRM after seeing all of that BS

2019-01-27 00:21:15 UTC

Yeah, got much love and support here, rather then the usual people who try and make excuses for my mum

2019-01-27 00:27:54 UTC

But she must have been under so much pressure with her daughter choosing her abusive ex husband over her /s

2019-01-27 00:29:20 UTC

Well usually more along the line of, โ€œitโ€™s tough to raise children, Iโ€™m sure she was only doing what she thought was best for youโ€... apparently that is an excuse for punching your daughter for not doing the dishes correctly xD

2019-01-27 00:32:03 UTC

2019-01-27 00:32:07 UTC

Your usual excuses of โ€œwomen arenโ€™t as strong so they canโ€™t cause as much damageโ€ really falls apart there because an adult is always going to be much bigger and stronger then a child

2019-01-27 00:32:20 UTC

Welcome @moon moon ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

2019-01-27 00:33:26 UTC

Coincidentally (or maybe not so much) most child abuse is done by women

2019-01-27 00:33:29 UTC

women are weird

2019-01-27 00:33:51 UTC

i am one and even i think were all weird

2019-01-27 00:34:26 UTC

I feel you @moon moon , I really do xD

2019-01-27 00:38:21 UTC

I can only remember my mum hitting us. She webt through a huge violent spell too but I was a pretty awful kid at the same time. I don't really remember though.

2019-01-27 00:39:35 UTC

I'm not saying dad*never* spanked us I just don't remember it

2019-01-27 00:41:54 UTC

I wasnโ€™t an easy kid either, turns out I had ADHD but was miss diagnosed with a bunch of other shit, so I acted out a lot, by the time I was kicked out my mental state was just trash, like... rolling around on the floor kicking and screaming kind of mental, dad was patient and kind, was slow but I was able to heal, even when I kicked him in the face so hard his glasses broke, turns out I really needed my dad.

2019-01-27 00:44:49 UTC

I had a lot of medical issues growing up. Embarrassing birth defects so I'd have lots of accidents when I was young. I ended up blaming it on her. It's not anyone's fault really but it was just pretty shitty all round.

2019-01-27 00:45:55 UTC

Itโ€™s hard to grow up with any kind of condition, for anyone, and it can be tough on parents but that is not an excuse to FUCKING HIT YOUR KIDS!

2019-01-27 00:47:05 UTC

Or throw pick them up and slam them repeatedly into the the wall. That one's hard to forget.

2019-01-27 00:47:48 UTC

Ugh, thatโ€™s awful, did you get blamed for breaking the wall too?

2019-01-27 00:50:23 UTC

Nah she threw me into the living room. I think she was aiming to put.me on the sofa but missed and I ended up Landing short and hitting my head on the edge of it. Had to talk to the teacher at school the next day as to how it happened.

2019-01-27 00:51:10 UTC

It's a long time ago.

2019-01-27 00:52:09 UTC

Doesnโ€™t matter how long ago, this shit can stick with you, can make doing certain tasks difficult as such traumas can case bad anxiety over such little and insignificant things

2019-01-27 00:52:33 UTC

And it can seem really difficult to work through at times

2019-01-27 00:57:14 UTC

That one I'm over now tbh. At least in comparison to my other scars haha.

I love kids and my parent's have often been examples of what not to do, and I look forward to not being them. I want to be a great dad when I meet the right person.

2019-01-27 00:58:17 UTC

Iโ€™m positive you will make a great dad, I donโ€™t really plan on having kinds but Iโ€™d say my mum has been a great lesson on how to not be a mum xD

2019-01-27 01:00:26 UTC

2019-01-27 01:01:11 UTC

Good evening

2019-01-27 01:02:03 UTC

Hello! Briefly scanning up, seems there a pretty engaged core around. How is everyone?

2019-01-27 01:06:29 UTC

We good, making myself a tea, gotta calm down when I work myself up this much xD

2019-01-27 01:08:02 UTC

Oh, what's causing you issues?

2019-01-27 01:14:45 UTC

Just talking about my past, we went though a lot of shit and makes me angry.

2019-01-27 01:15:07 UTC

More or less the reason I am a MRA now.

2019-01-27 01:17:20 UTC

Oh I see.. sure you don't need a drink and not a cup of tea ?:D

2019-01-27 01:23:52 UTC

Too early for rum xD

2019-01-27 01:26:17 UTC

never too early for rum! is anyone aware why the decision was made to start a discord btw? I'm curious

2019-01-27 01:26:44 UTC

I like the way you think but I have to drive later xD

2019-01-27 01:27:21 UTC

And the discord was made to just have it easier to chat and hang out but also as a back up in case the reddit gets deleted.

2019-01-27 01:29:25 UTC

2019-01-27 01:29:29 UTC

Yeah fair enough. I was thinking it may also be because a lot of younger guys seem to have their finger on the pulse and think there's a bit of a groundswell to capitalize on with that.

2019-01-27 01:30:16 UTC

But certainly don't think a deletion is likely any time soon.. hopefully at least. There's some good dialogue and some pretty clued up people posting regularly

2019-01-27 01:30:26 UTC

Hey there

2019-01-27 01:41:47 UTC

Hi

2019-01-27 01:41:53 UTC

I agree, I think itโ€™s a good sub but menโ€™s rights subs have been deleted in the past as will as there being a lot of misinformation about what we are really about going round, so is good to air on the side of caution

2019-01-27 01:51:21 UTC

It's difficult... on one hand, you need some strong moderation to keep it on track, but on the other hand you sorta need that dialogue going on and to hear a dissenting voice is healthy.

2019-01-27 01:52:39 UTC

The risk is definitely there mind you, the more the movement comes from negativity the more problematic it becomes - think it's hard to both point out inequalities as well as inspire without having a pretty curated front page.

2019-01-27 01:55:40 UTC

_didn't come from the pinned post lol_

2019-01-27 01:56:08 UTC

Hello fellow assholes, how is the good fight today?

2019-01-27 02:00:19 UTC

All good, just the usual, sitting around a BBQ chanting boys will be boys and talking over the top of women

2019-01-27 02:00:43 UTC

Don't forget to slap their asses when they bring you your beers

2019-01-27 02:05:35 UTC

I got a funny one... Workplace has 1 diehard feminist, she's a real cunt that people are starting to avoid because she'll go to HR with the dumbest shit and claim someone else is being harassed or something. I, as an MRA, go to the bathroom and notice a tampon case in the waste bin, clean up and go ask a female coworker what they do with their used products... 'bury them deep down inside the waste bin wrapped in tp'... ask her why she's not using doggy trash bags or something... prompt her to ask for sanitary bags installed in the bathrooms since it'll mean more coming from a woman. She does so, HR backs her up about the reasons why it's needed, they get installed in every bathroom... I'm so tempted to tell the feminist cunt that an MRA got female sanitary bags installed in all the bathrooms (we have a ton of single person gender neutral ones). lol

2019-01-27 02:06:18 UTC

Wow.

2019-01-27 02:07:45 UTC

Work for progress, not for spite or hatred. I don't rub it in their faces, but it's sure tempting sometimes.

2019-01-27 02:09:47 UTC

Thatโ€™s a good idea, I hate having to look at other womenโ€™s bloody pads and tampons when I use public toilets, most of them have bins but you always get those cunts that leave them floating in the toilet or in the paper bin, you are a saint

2019-01-27 02:10:47 UTC

I asked her if she flushed them and she said, 'Oh no! I know better than that!'... I had a neighbor once who's GF did that... they had the plumber out a couple times to clean the 'white mice' from the sewer pipes.

2019-01-27 02:11:13 UTC

And it's just cleaner, who wants to come into contact with rando blood

2019-01-27 02:11:17 UTC

Oh god, please stop, I just ate xD

2019-01-27 02:11:55 UTC

I'm not joking, you'd be surprised how they come out nice and clean and white from the sewer drain pipe... you'd never expect it, but they're sparkly white.

2019-01-27 02:12:32 UTC

That is...bizarre.

2019-01-27 02:12:32 UTC

I believe it, but itโ€™s still been up some dirty bitches nasty snatch

2019-01-27 02:13:17 UTC

The Sanitary bins are legit right next to the toilets too, so I donโ€™t even know the fucking reasoning

2019-01-27 02:13:48 UTC

Idk, perhaps they think they would the same as toilet paper.

2019-01-27 02:14:34 UTC

There are usually signs everywhere too, saying to not put nappies, baby wipe or tampons in the toilets, so I donโ€™t even know

2019-01-27 02:14:44 UTC

#womensissues xD

2019-01-27 02:15:00 UTC

nappies... you mean diapers? or pads?

2019-01-27 02:15:07 UTC

No idea, lmao.

2019-01-27 02:15:11 UTC

Diapers

2019-01-27 02:15:27 UTC

God, I can't even imagine trying to flush one of my kids diapers... and he's only in 2's

2019-01-27 02:15:54 UTC

That should be common fucking sense, but likely a lot of people throw those in the toilet as well...

2019-01-27 02:15:56 UTC

Well apparently itโ€™s enough of a problem that they needs to put up signs for it

2019-01-27 02:16:12 UTC

They expand insanely when wet... like, the hell lol

2019-01-27 02:17:12 UTC

We just carry around the dog poop bags and stick his diapers in those and then put them in a trash bin. That way no one has to smell it and it's a bit cleaner.

2019-01-27 02:17:39 UTC

Do it at home too, don't have to take the kids trash can out for an extra day or two by using those

2019-01-27 02:17:54 UTC

Ah, thatโ€™s smart.

2019-01-27 02:18:33 UTC

Itโ€™s a good idea, usually just throw the wet wipes onto another wipe and take them straight out to the big bin xD

2019-01-27 08:56:34 UTC

hey there. anyone up?

2019-01-27 08:56:42 UTC

Yeah, what's going on?

2019-01-27 08:58:04 UTC

not a lot, just browsing reddit for the first time in years. saw the sub and figured i'd check out the discord. actually really happy that there's a good number of people here.

2019-01-27 08:58:07 UTC

what are you up to?

2019-01-27 08:58:19 UTC

Reading reddit posts

2019-01-27 08:58:46 UTC

Was playing TF2, but some jackasses were aimbotting so everyone left the server.

2019-01-27 10:36:04 UTC

2019-01-27 10:36:47 UTC

Is this really...

2019-01-27 10:36:55 UTC

No...

2019-01-27 10:37:10 UTC

Hello Owen

2019-01-27 10:37:11 UTC

Please don't tell me this is an actual serious..

2019-01-27 10:37:21 UTC

Discord server..

2019-01-27 10:37:32 UTC

Why shouldn't it be?

2019-01-27 10:37:50 UTC

Mens right's are not a problem maybe..

2019-01-27 10:37:57 UTC

It's more of the woman side...

2019-01-27 10:38:12 UTC

What are you talking about?

2019-01-27 10:38:27 UTC

I've have never heard a case of "mens rights"

2019-01-27 10:38:36 UTC

It's always been womens rights.

2019-01-27 10:38:36 UTC

Haha well you're about to learn

2019-01-27 10:38:51 UTC

I thought from all the history.

2019-01-27 10:38:55 UTC

Well take a look at www.Reddit.com/r/mensrights

2019-01-27 10:39:00 UTC

Men were greater at some point

2019-01-27 10:39:06 UTC

And still are

2019-01-27 10:39:08 UTC

today.

2019-01-27 10:39:10 UTC

Well that's not true

2019-01-27 10:39:11 UTC

In some ways.

2019-01-27 10:39:16 UTC

How so?

2019-01-27 10:39:34 UTC

I'm not going to disprove an assertion you haven't proved mate

2019-01-27 10:39:45 UTC

Well.

2019-01-27 10:39:53 UTC

What's this server mainly for?

2019-01-27 10:40:13 UTC

Like what's the main discussion about mens right's rn.

2019-01-27 10:40:46 UTC

Talking about men's issues in the world and trying to move forward with making people more aware of them and laws that need to be changed etc

2019-01-27 10:41:07 UTC

I think the link I gave has a lot of info on the things men's rights are about

2019-01-27 10:41:39 UTC

But men's rights is about fighting against the sexism men face in society

2019-01-27 10:41:51 UTC

Father's rights, anti circumcision, discrimination of boys in the education system. Legal discrimination.

2019-01-27 10:42:04 UTC

Thank you James.

2019-01-27 10:42:32 UTC

Well, I can agree, there's a problem everywhere in the world.

2019-01-27 10:42:39 UTC

I guess this is one of them.

2019-01-27 10:43:47 UTC

I swear to actual god, I've never heard of a problem about mens rights.

2019-01-27 10:44:11 UTC

It's always been "Womens rights, Human rights, Racial discrimination"

2019-01-27 10:44:15 UTC

Well that's kind of why we exist

2019-01-27 10:44:50 UTC

Society has always cared a lot about women and providing for them.

2019-01-27 10:44:57 UTC

Ever since.

2019-01-27 10:45:03 UTC

Uhhh...

2019-01-27 10:45:14 UTC

What, WW2?

2019-01-27 10:45:27 UTC

Always

2019-01-27 10:45:31 UTC

That's not to say that women don't have issues but people listen when they express their feelings about them

2019-01-27 10:45:34 UTC

Or the 15 Amendment.

2019-01-27 10:46:41 UTC

Which one is that again. I live in England

2019-01-27 10:46:57 UTC

Womens right's to vote?

2019-01-27 10:46:59 UTC

I think

2019-01-27 10:47:06 UTC

It's a complete misunderstanding that only women had a hard time of things in the past. Everyone did. Most men couldn't vote, were poor, would be forced to go off to war etc

2019-01-27 10:47:22 UTC

Most black men couldn't vote back then

2019-01-27 10:47:26 UTC

Poor white farmers

2019-01-27 10:47:29 UTC

The gap between universal suffrage between men and women is small enough to be called nonexistant in the scale of things

2019-01-27 10:47:36 UTC

The Vote had been tied to the draft

2019-01-27 10:48:02 UTC

So, wait.

2019-01-27 10:48:14 UTC

Some people actually thing being a male is wrong.

2019-01-27 10:48:19 UTC

Most women opposed suffrage since it would mean, they needed to get drafted

2019-01-27 10:49:45 UTC

Men needed to sign up for the draft to get voting rights, women got it without any obligations

2019-01-27 10:51:00 UTC

It was kinda reasonable they did that.

2019-01-27 10:51:15 UTC

What was

2019-01-27 10:53:15 UTC

I'm just saying that things weren't all that rosy for men like feminists want you to believe @iiSaucy

2019-01-27 11:58:54 UTC

Lol wtf @James

2019-01-27 11:59:04 UTC

So

2019-01-27 11:59:20 UTC

That guy was basically saying that men's rights aren't a thing

2019-01-27 11:59:33 UTC

He's a prime example of why we need servers like this

2019-01-27 12:00:06 UTC

Gotta love ignorance

2019-01-27 12:01:52 UTC

He said it was reasonable that women didn't have to go to ear to get voting rights and he said that it was reasonable that men did

2019-01-27 13:55:12 UTC

I was just trying to clarify. I was a little distracted so I wanted to get the full context. Did he get kicked?

2019-01-27 13:55:46 UTC

No, they left by themselves

2019-01-27 15:18:17 UTC

2019-01-27 15:18:42 UTC

Hi Baku, welcome to the discord server

2019-01-27 15:28:35 UTC

hi guys, don't worry I'm not the Owen type ๐Ÿ˜„ been an active part of the mensrights subreddit for a little over a year now.
figured I'd also join here. I like discussing men's rights issues, but dislike reddit. so easy to misunderstand people there.

2019-01-27 15:28:46 UTC
