He would plead guilty to something he didn't commit, to avoid the questioning, being under oath, and getting certain things tagged into evidence. An investigation/trial might have triggered a subpoena that could've made Flynn turn ovet emails, documents, texts, etc. That could have given up intel and the strategy of the "white hats". It might have uncovered Julian A.'s role as well, laying a whole realm of information out that would've given everything away. Maybe the charges against Flynn were a ploy by the deepstate to get that information...like I said, I don't know if it's the case, but it makes sense to me, enough that it could very well seem probable.
