@๐ ฑรธg Wizard told ya I'd do this today lol
Oi av yuuuuu got a loooiicense f' that, m8? Yoor knicked, sunshine
@Thirsty_Fox I'm happy to say I'm not in the UK lol
pro strats. Is that just a standard circular saw blade?
Yep. And some old pallet wood
Based and environmentally friendly
do you do heat treatment to soften/harden?
Not for this kind of knife
The steel is already hardened
it would be. I was looking to get into hand-made knife making, and the heat process is the most difficult part to sort out
Easiest way is to use a cheap laser temp gauge & follow the charts depending on wear you want to make & the material you use.
When I used to actually do blacksmithing every week, I just followed YouTube. Annealing is always where I screwed up at first
Imagine living in britbong land
it's coming up with an oven that's my challenge
Im thinking about doing stealth camping in my local state park
to get around covid lockdowns? <:thinking:445724717450526731>
@๐ ฑรธg Wizard I've seen a lot of stealth campers on YouTube.
No just because I want to shit on rule makers and connect with the woods
I despise authority
It is important to connect with nature. Godspeed my friend
I think im gonna build a secret altar site out there
I done got em
I've skimmed through em and I like what I see
one of the books contains all the info to make the powder & materials for the other 2
Which order should I study them in
Start with the one that has black powder on the first few pages
๐
I've made black powder like that for years btw
๐๐๐
Based
I plan on blowing shit up in my backyard lmao
I think I'll buy a muzzle loader today
And order the stuff to make my own bullets
Naisu
Btw, under biden you wont be able to order bullet molds
Figured
Man, I feel jealous of you two
I don't have a backyard since I live in an apartment
F
I live in the middle of nowhere. It's actually pretty nice but somewhat inconvenient
I got plenty of woods out here to bug out to if need be
Anyone go morel hunting in the spring?
I have not, but I may this year. My wife is a biologist/ environment scientist. She knows all about that stuff and knows some good places
Any other cigar smokers?
No but always want to try one
@NYChris824 have you tried any other tobacco?
Vaped for bout a year because work stress
Well with a cigar take your time. Itโs an hour long affair normally. For most cigars I use a โpunchโ and not a cutter.
Makes for a good draw and easy on beginners too.
I great 7-8 dollar stick is a rocky patel edge.
If you lived in Georgia Iโd smoke one with ya
So anyone got any oddball hobbies before I share mine?
I do online pro wrestling. Like create the characters and write their matches and stuff. In a group of people that make like our own WWE knockoff
I used to love the shit out of WWE
Kane was my favorite
Well my hobbies are well interesting
Aside from studying the occult I am an amateur Bigfoot researcher. Used to be a part of a large group, decided I was better off doing solo work. Did paranormal stuff as well, Iโve had more paranormal encounters than I care to admit
This is my favorite recording
Haven't had any paranormal encounters to speak of
Be glad
Iโve been burnt pretty bad by the shit Iโve dealt with
Indiana might as well be a giant burial mound
I'm pretty skeptical about alot of that stuff.
Understandable
Because all there tends to be are those bullshit fake ghost searching shows that just try to make a buck and people's accounts.
Its good to look at things skeptically
We always have one skeptic in the group to level things out
Iโll have to get back with you wiz, sounds interesting but I gotta sleep
I wanna go Cryptid hunting at some point but don't have the time or money to go anywhere
I mainly deal with things I can shoot if things go south. Cant really shoot non human entities
as it turns out my hometown isn't a hotspot for cryptic activity
But I like reading like dark history. Not conspiracy theories, but like the darker scummier, scarier parts. Like what happened around Cherynobl etc
What exactly do you wanna look for?
I mainly focus on two creatures
The sasquatch variants (there are at least 4 separate sub species that my old group and others have documented)
And what they call in Michigan the Dogman or in the deep south the Rou-ga-roh
Iโve personally taken reports of both near me
Things that go bump in the night
anything and everything
My advise to you is donโt go unless you are sure of what you seek. Its better to not be mentally destroyed by a traumatic experience. Iโve listened to people who have grown up in the woods their whole lives, seen one of the creatures and suffer from PTSD now. If it is truly something you want to experience then I will guide you
There are 3 rules I live by if I can
1. Always go armed 2. Never go alone (often time I have no choice.) 3. Always let people know where you are going. Carry your cell phone or a GPS tracker so you dont end up in the missing 411 books
If you are interested in learning what I know about the 4 types Iโll gladly share what I was taught
Any you guys do stocks?
I'm a noob at this shit and leave it to Acorns App
Iโve been doing pretty well actually. Started in like February and had to ride out corona economy but Iโve been doing real good for like last month
Yeah I bought the dip and am up 70%
Haha, I thought you were talking rifle stocks for a second
Hahaha, same here, believe it or not
Wow ok, that's a weird hobby if I have ever seen one
