Le gouvernement vont pense que vous est un gilet jaune avec des fusil

2018-12-06 05:11:43 UTC

*bon*

2018-12-06 05:12:12 UTC

^^ le gouvernement ne vas pas faire long feu

2018-12-06 05:12:53 UTC

Iโ€™d say go ahead and get it then. Rifled shotguns arenโ€™t the worst.

2018-12-06 05:13:50 UTC

i think but the price of ammunation have a great gap between buckshot and slug

2018-12-06 05:14:45 UTC

How much different?

2018-12-06 05:15:41 UTC

2018-12-06 05:16:03 UTC

6.70 for 25 shell of buckshot

2018-12-06 05:16:29 UTC

and 8 for 10 shell of slug

2018-12-06 05:18:02 UTC

0.54 cent of differance on one shell

2018-12-06 05:19:27 UTC

Getting a rifled barrel shotgun to shoot anything other than slugs is a monumentally poor idea

2018-12-06 05:19:46 UTC

The rifling destroys your shot pattern for birdshot and buckshot

2018-12-06 05:20:04 UTC

On the other hand, smoothbore shotguns can shoot everything

2018-12-06 05:20:45 UTC

Consider his laws, however.

2018-12-06 05:20:47 UTC

I know because Iโ€™ve seen people try it in competition

2018-12-06 05:21:32 UTC

Heโ€™s cucked either way

2018-12-06 05:21:35 UTC

Itโ€™s France

2018-12-06 05:21:57 UTC

Those prices are about what they are here. Slugs are cheaper there than Iโ€™ve seen here.

2018-12-06 05:22:36 UTC

I usually pay between $0.90 and $1.25 each for slugs

2018-12-06 05:22:50 UTC

its shitty ammo on good ammo triple the price

2018-12-06 05:23:45 UTC

this ammunation is made by decathlon a french sport shop

2018-12-06 05:24:43 UTC

i just want to shot cheap on the range and buckshot is cheat

2018-12-06 05:24:52 UTC

cheap*

2018-12-06 05:25:12 UTC

I mean, if you wanna shoot cheap, get birdshot

2018-12-06 05:25:31 UTC

Here itโ€™s less than $0.20 each

2018-12-06 05:25:59 UTC

But itโ€™s gonna be a total mess out of a rifled barrel. More noise and smoke than actually hitting anything

2018-12-06 05:27:42 UTC

hum i dont thik is a great idea to get a rifled barrel if im gonna miss every shot

2018-12-06 05:32:17 UTC

but more important is there any risk for me and the gun on the long term if a shot a rifled barrel with birdshot like premature wear or exploding cannon?

2018-12-06 05:33:03 UTC

Pas bien pour la canon

2018-12-06 05:34:18 UTC

Je pense pas que il vont explose mais come les anglophones on dit, il mourir le rayures

2018-12-06 05:37:21 UTC

pas de soucis j'ai en parti compris ce que tu as dit

2018-12-06 05:39:41 UTC

Will the rubber band grip damage the metal?

2018-12-06 05:41:28 UTC

Jโ€™avais pas des personnes pour practique mon frances avec, parce que cas je oubliรฉ un gros amont des mots

2018-12-06 05:42:41 UTC

damage the metal i dont think but it can leave marks on time due to rubber to worn out i think

2018-12-06 05:44:21 UTC

2018-12-06 05:59:27 UTC

Un demi de mon famillie est acadien

2018-12-06 15:21:19 UTC

@sanglier thereโ€™s no risk to the gun, just that it wonโ€™t work well at all.

2018-12-06 17:10:27 UTC

2018-12-06 18:46:51 UTC

@Sadmin fuck yโ€™all, itโ€™s not like Iโ€™m a Mexican

2018-12-06 18:47:22 UTC

Actually

2018-12-06 18:47:29 UTC

Whatโ€™s worse, a leaf or an illegal?

2018-12-06 18:49:22 UTC

Both

2018-12-06 18:50:12 UTC

Yes

2018-12-06 18:51:33 UTC

I lived in CA for a long time

2018-12-06 18:51:41 UTC

Knew plenty of illegals, never had any issues

2018-12-06 18:51:54 UTC

They just wanted to work and take care of their families

2018-12-06 18:52:04 UTC

Now, leafs? Fuck those guys.

2018-12-06 19:53:07 UTC

Leafs must be removed, like kebab

2018-12-06 23:20:40 UTC

Illegals broke immigration law to illegaly enter the US. Fuck them too.

2018-12-06 23:51:39 UTC

Fuck illegals

2018-12-06 23:53:02 UTC

>tfw no one wants to fuck me

2018-12-06 23:54:27 UTC

Mood

2018-12-06 23:55:42 UTC

Same

2018-12-07 01:12:22 UTC

Penis

2018-12-07 01:47:20 UTC

Illegally enter another country Cornfield

2018-12-07 03:33:32 UTC

Fuck illegals. I immigrated to another country legally. They should have to as well.

2018-12-07 03:33:37 UTC

Beaners

2018-12-08 05:03:57 UTC

Has anyone here built a 9mm AR?

2018-12-08 05:39:00 UTC

Why do you want to?

2018-12-08 23:27:51 UTC

Because PCCs are sweet

2018-12-08 23:28:32 UTC

They are pretty fun

2018-12-09 09:10:54 UTC

"Why would you want to?" Is the enemy of the 2A

2018-12-09 09:11:15 UTC

Just like how I want to build this new fangled 45 70 AR

2018-12-09 15:40:04 UTC

That's an abomination

2018-12-09 15:41:08 UTC

But it looks fun

2018-12-09 15:43:19 UTC

Do they even make 45-70 mags?

2018-12-09 15:43:50 UTC

Gonna look like a bubba'd AK-M4

2018-12-09 15:46:05 UTC

Yes

2018-12-09 15:46:14 UTC

But you need to cut the rim on the cartridge

2018-12-09 20:14:34 UTC

Boys, I want a 10/22

2018-12-09 20:14:55 UTC

How should I build it?

2018-12-09 23:10:51 UTC

Go... buy one and shoot it?

2018-12-09 23:11:54 UTC

bavarian stock

2018-12-10 00:19:19 UTC

Bigger charging handle, run it like an AK.

2018-12-10 02:31:41 UTC

16" Bull barrel and volquartsen innards

2018-12-10 04:00:24 UTC

Buy the gun and shoot it, and then decide what you want to upgrade. Otherwise youโ€™re just throwing parts at something and crossing your fingers.

2018-12-10 04:32:47 UTC

^

2018-12-10 04:33:07 UTC

You can't reasonably discern what needs to be tweaked without experiencing the base model

2018-12-11 23:04:06 UTC

AK Build Tools:
http://www.tothtool.com/
those are the tools I used
bending the receiver is another animal
it's not as difficult as an HK receiver
pressing the barrel in isn't difficult with that barrel puller/pusher
some people use hydraulic presses
I preferred that rig

2018-12-11 23:05:13 UTC

AK Builder is an excellent build resource for tools and parts

2018-12-12 03:23:00 UTC

@Sadmin can we get some of this good manโ€™s posts pinned?

2018-12-12 16:55:33 UTC

Fair to ask dumb repair questions here, or that more of the normal k channel?

2018-12-12 16:56:22 UTC

๐Ÿคท

2018-12-12 16:56:56 UTC

ask

2018-12-12 17:03:22 UTC

I'm sure some of you have already seen that

2018-12-12 17:13:20 UTC

I'm repairing my dads Mauser (mostly just cleaning really) and the lock sleeve spring on the cocking piece is a bit weak, leading to fun bolt shenanigans

2018-12-12 17:13:42 UTC

It looks like an easy fix, just slide it out and in. Am i missing something probably?

2018-12-12 17:32:29 UTC

second link shows step by step in pics

2018-12-12 18:03:24 UTC

I looked for that, but my Google fu is week on guns

2018-12-12 18:03:33 UTC

Thanks so much, it's exactly what i needed!

2018-12-12 18:04:15 UTC

Looks like i should be able to do exactly what i was thinking. Doesn't look like i need to remove the mainspring either, which is good

2018-12-12 18:04:39 UTC

Since this stock doesn't have that handy hole. Thanks, Spain

2018-12-12 22:32:51 UTC

Iโ€™m debating cutting the barrel down to forward of the piece of tape. 18 inches is just behind the tape in the middle of the hole. Forgot to measure over all length. Iโ€™ll need to move the sight at some point, and this girl already kicks like a mule. What do yโ€™all think?

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/508382218612375565/522541373522706437/image0.jpg

2018-12-12 23:23:55 UTC

is it a Rem 870?

2018-12-12 23:24:07 UTC

why not just get a new barrel, they're pretty cheap

2018-12-12 23:25:18 UTC

Itโ€™s not. Itโ€™s a $99 dollar single shot from Walmart.

2018-12-12 23:25:54 UTC

Saw that bitch off and thread in a sight

2018-12-12 23:26:05 UTC

Get a machinist to do the sight if you cannot

2018-12-12 23:26:20 UTC

Or leave it

2018-12-12 23:28:27 UTC

I donโ€™t know any machinists. Some of the sporting goods stores have clip on fiber optic sights I might mod on in the mean time.

2018-12-12 23:29:22 UTC

Epoxy bb to top

2018-12-12 23:29:31 UTC

JB weld

2018-12-12 23:29:43 UTC

silver solder it

2018-12-12 23:30:28 UTC

Just use one of the neon colored clear .12 gram airsoft bb's

2018-12-12 23:34:02 UTC

No. Ima do it right.

2018-12-12 23:36:14 UTC

>Do it right
>on a $99 single shot

Gorilla gluing a BB to the rib is about as right as it gets on those

2018-12-12 23:37:08 UTC

Hack saw

2018-12-12 23:38:53 UTC

Iโ€™d do it now if there was a vice in the house. Two hacksaws, no vice. Not sure where the files are so Iโ€™ll have to use the SAK for that. No emery cloth.

2018-12-12 23:44:24 UTC

sit on it and hacksaw the barrel off

2018-12-12 23:44:30 UTC

no vice reqd

2018-12-12 23:47:04 UTC

Alright. Fuck it.

2018-12-13 00:31:18 UTC

Uh. A vice would help a lot.

2018-12-13 00:31:24 UTC

Also, a file to clean it up after

2018-12-13 00:31:48 UTC

There are plenty of fiber bead sights that have double stick tape.

2018-12-13 01:19:38 UTC

Fuck this Iโ€™m going to get a vice and an angle grinder.

2018-12-13 01:47:03 UTC

the evolution of bubba's shotgun modding

2018-12-13 02:35:12 UTC

So, the barrel is off, but i have significant filing to do.

2018-12-13 10:32:26 UTC

You need a vice and a file.

2018-12-13 10:32:35 UTC

And work it gently.

2018-12-13 10:32:50 UTC

You don't know any machinists? Okay. What you can do is contact a shop you find and they can easily thread in a post sight.

2018-12-13 10:33:03 UTC

Where my Sata nigga at, I am supposed to make him some new grips

2018-12-14 00:36:01 UTC

Thatโ€™s also me. Ended up taking a saw to it again. Got a good cut with minimal hiccups. Filing and sanding are next.

2018-12-14 00:37:47 UTC

Real shit harbor freight tap and a drill

2018-12-14 00:40:58 UTC

Eh. Iโ€™d rather sand. Gives me more control. Almost finished anyway.

2018-12-14 00:44:58 UTC

When you go for the new bead

2018-12-14 01:07:04 UTC

Eventually.

2018-12-14 02:15:44 UTC

Like I said, plenty of fiber beads that stick on with double stick tape. No need to tap. Iโ€™ve had one thatโ€™s going on 3 years of hard competition use.

2018-12-14 02:26:44 UTC

JB weld

2018-12-14 04:30:51 UTC

I think Iโ€™ll just go with the tape like moonrunes said.

2018-12-14 04:30:59 UTC

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/508382218612375565/522993885299867649/image0.jpg

2018-12-14 04:31:26 UTC

Just make sure you clean the rib with alcohol before you apply the sight

2018-12-14 04:34:27 UTC

Alright.

2018-12-14 04:46:35 UTC

Ooh purty

2018-12-14 05:12:35 UTC

Thanks.

2018-12-18 19:48:56 UTC

@Deleted User you were wanting to talk grips?

2018-12-18 19:51:24 UTC

Yeah, if you still need new grips

2018-12-18 19:53:09 UTC

I do. Still broke atm tho.

2018-12-18 20:10:48 UTC

When I get a bit more cash, Iโ€™ll see what we can do. Iโ€™d feel bad not paying you.

2018-12-24 15:15:42 UTC

My srd-9 sits above the sights on my p226 wtf do i do for sights

2018-12-24 19:00:35 UTC

what

2018-12-24 19:02:13 UTC

Silencer height sights or try a red dot

2018-12-24 19:06:45 UTC
2018-12-24 19:21:01 UTC

Or.. use the red dot for sighting?

2018-12-24 19:30:12 UTC

Entirely his choice, just giving him both options

2018-12-24 20:46:14 UTC

you can always just disregard irons fully if you want

2018-12-27 18:18:22 UTC

I just couldnt find any through sig but maybe im being too picky, i line to CC this gun so im not super sure about a red dot and i dislike electronics

2018-12-27 18:18:49 UTC

Do i need calipers to put my sights back on? I don't have any experience in replacing irons

2018-12-27 18:22:21 UTC

Get a sight alignment tool

2018-12-27 18:23:07 UTC

Also ccing with an rds isnt that bad just replace your batteries regularly and mark on your calendar when you replaced them

2018-12-27 18:50:36 UTC

^

2018-12-27 23:21:00 UTC

You donโ€™t need a sight alignment tool, it can be done with a vise, a small hammer, and a brass punch

2018-12-27 23:21:27 UTC

Center it up using a ruler, verify at the range.

2019-01-07 03:45:33 UTC

any y'all here own a G43? the rifle not the glockcock. Just picked one up the other day and I had to reinstall the safety and after installing it with a new retention clip the safety switch lever thingy fell off. I got it back on with little issue but I don't wanna get my first piercing from the safety when I shoot this thing

2019-01-07 04:24:45 UTC

Friend, thatโ€™s not a very common rifle. I would go to /k/ with plenty of pictures, or seek out help from someone with more specific knowledge. I hate to be that guy, but I donโ€™t think youโ€™ll find your answers here.

That, and you gotta flex on the rest of /k/, you own a fucking G43.

2019-01-07 04:33:25 UTC

Recommending /k/ as a source of information.

2019-01-07 04:33:28 UTC

Seriously?

2019-01-07 04:34:41 UTC

Itโ€™s that, Reddit, a gunsmith, or books. I simply provide options, itโ€™s up to him to take a course of action.

2019-01-07 04:35:27 UTC

If you know a gunsmith with experience in C&R, it's been hit or miss for me

2019-01-07 04:36:32 UTC

I've only met one who can help me with a Ross restoration and he only knew of it from a relative, although the G43 might have more luck

2019-01-07 04:37:10 UTC

There are plenty of other milsurp resources, forums, etc

2019-01-07 04:42:21 UTC

Fair.

2019-01-07 05:01:09 UTC

I'd say Facebook groups tbh

2019-01-07 05:01:20 UTC

Specialized milsurp groups are fine

2019-01-07 05:36:12 UTC

Theyโ€™re very helpful sometimes

2019-01-07 05:36:32 UTC

Meme page admins if theyโ€™re really specific

2019-01-07 05:36:58 UTC

Caseless G11 Memes knows a fuckload about, you guessed it

2019-01-07 05:37:15 UTC

And I have gotten a shitload of enfield help from the guy behind enfield memes

2019-01-07 05:37:36 UTC

He flexed his No.1 Mk.5 at me

2019-01-07 19:28:48 UTC

Imagine my shock, people with enough autism to make a meme page about a specific gun are autistic for that gun.

2019-01-07 23:45:00 UTC

Much appreciated for the help fellas. Did some lookin around and the whole safety falling out is a fairly common issue with the rifle.

2019-01-08 21:31:45 UTC

@Benjammin Franklin Post pics of the rifle pls.
And your others too.

2019-01-09 01:14:37 UTC

i have kar 98 too

2019-01-09 01:14:40 UTC

one sec

2019-01-09 01:20:49 UTC

Kar98 has matching numbers on bolt and receiver as does G43 but the Kar98 has the proof marks scratched out. Bought it for $800. G43 has cost me almost $2700 and I ainโ€™t even got the damn safety to stay on it yet

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/508382218612375565/532368114650972160/image0.jpg

2019-01-09 03:03:12 UTC

Ok but you have a G43

2019-01-09 03:03:32 UTC

bow before him for he is a canonized wehraboo saint

2019-01-09 03:06:58 UTC

10/10 would literally beat you to death with a shoe for G43.

2019-01-09 03:45:40 UTC

Ditto

2019-01-09 03:46:13 UTC

They might beat themselves to death and eat expensive ammo

2019-01-09 03:46:18 UTC

But hooo boy

2019-01-09 03:46:39 UTC

Muh selbstladengewehr

2019-01-09 17:18:33 UTC

Fun fact, the G43 was purpose built for the cold. In cold weather the fixed gas port makes it operate flawlessly, but all you have to do in temperate or hot weather is change the bolt spring.

2019-01-09 17:19:09 UTC

Another fun fact, the G43 uses a *carbon copy* of the SVT's adjustable gas port.

2019-01-09 17:19:39 UTC

So you can literally replace it with a repro SVT adjustabl gas port and it's a perfectly functional all-weather rifle.

2019-01-09 17:41:51 UTC

And it wonโ€™t snap beat itself to death then?

2019-01-09 17:45:02 UTC

Nope, just remember to change the bolt spring or adjust the gas regulator.

2019-01-09 17:45:10 UTC

Y'know, basic considerations

2019-01-09 17:45:19 UTC

The G43 is plagued by bullshit myths

2019-01-09 18:14:19 UTC

What about that thing about Jews supposedly being forced to make rifles for the Wehrmacht? Personally, I wouldn't think letting prisoners who hate you and your system make weapons for your army to be smart, but that's the claim frequently made about the G-41 and G-43.

2019-01-09 18:17:35 UTC

Just check the armament code.

2019-01-09 18:17:38 UTC

ezpz

2019-01-09 18:18:13 UTC

Most if not all G41(w)'s and G43's were made in Walther factories.

2019-01-09 18:18:38 UTC

If you havea G41(m) it's a neat show piece but unlike the Walther models it's not going to function well.

Speaking of Walther firearms, what's the deal with the PPK? Is a Bersa Thunder more cost-effective?

2019-01-09 18:20:02 UTC

Or do you get what you pay for with the Thunder?

2019-01-09 18:20:54 UTC

It's argentinian, so... yeah.

2019-01-09 21:06:33 UTC

It's not a bad gun at all.

2019-01-09 21:06:56 UTC

The bersa does the same shit cheaper and has a few autismo features the walther doesnt

2019-01-09 21:07:17 UTC

Argentine guns are miles better than >Brazil

2019-01-09 21:07:27 UTC

Theyโ€™re Spanish quality levels

2019-01-09 21:07:31 UTC

@Reichtangle Tell that to my Imbel lmao

2019-01-09 21:07:37 UTC

Cheap but functional

2019-01-09 21:07:42 UTC

Valid

2019-01-09 21:07:59 UTC

Iโ€™ve heard good things about the thunder from poorfag leaves

2019-01-09 21:08:10 UTC

And the FAMAE sig clone sells well here too

2019-01-09 21:08:13 UTC

She's beat to all hell but goddammit she just won't stop running.

2019-01-09 21:08:26 UTC

Although sales donโ€™t mean good, mind

2019-01-09 21:08:27 UTC

The Bersa is good. My dad carries one.

2019-01-09 21:08:39 UTC

Bersa is fine

2019-01-09 21:08:42 UTC

I've shot it, it's plenty accurate.

2019-01-09 21:08:55 UTC

Get the combat model. Holds 15 vs 7

2019-01-09 21:09:10 UTC

Double stack and all. Just less compact.

2019-01-09 21:12:21 UTC

Neat

2019-01-09 21:12:37 UTC

My first handgun will still probably be a surplus P1 or 92

2019-01-09 21:21:47 UTC

Everyone I know that I told about me getting a ppk said go for the thunder

2019-01-09 21:33:17 UTC

2019-01-10 16:25:32 UTC

Anyone have experience with toth AK tools for self builds?

2019-01-10 20:31:19 UTC

yes

2019-01-10 20:38:36 UTC

only thing I would recommend is a pneumatic rivet squeezer

2019-01-10 20:39:11 UTC

Harbor freight is your friend

2019-01-10 20:39:23 UTC

the bolt cutter rivet squeezer works OK, but it doesn't squish the rivets as well

2019-01-11 20:34:15 UTC

.450 bushmaster uppers will fit a standard 5.56 lower right?

2019-01-11 20:45:01 UTC

Yes

2019-01-11 20:45:10 UTC

But 450 is gae

2019-01-11 20:46:52 UTC

they will, thats the point

2019-01-11 21:15:48 UTC

Of course itโ€™s gay

2019-01-11 21:17:09 UTC

But thereโ€™s a neat minecraft bug where villagers sell .450 mags that fit 5.56

2019-01-11 21:17:19 UTC

So your minecraft lower doesnโ€™t have magazine limits

2019-01-11 21:24:33 UTC
