So I put some 12" apes on my bike and all the stock cables are long enough except for the brake line. Any advice on how to free up any slack to try and make it reach? I might just end up replacing the line and build my own custom length but just curious if anyone had any experience with this or could offer any tips. Thanks! <@&435155863217504256>

Took the brake line out of the restraint under the triple tree and unscrewed one of the two line holders. Got enough slack to make it work 👌🏻

Ignore the wirenuts, I'm installing a new accessory light switch and that's the temporary connection to verify it worked properly.

@Freiheit - CA you might be able to search online and find which tanks from certain years are a factory match with yours. I've found the craziest specific details on motorcycle forums. Also see if you have a motorcycle junk yard near by that lets you pick your parts, we have a couple of them out here- very useful.
