One thing I've wondered is that if the AltRight ever needed to avoid using English or other language with a lot of POZzed speakers to avoid interruption, what language would we write things in? I was thinking maybe Latin ๐Ÿ˜

2017-12-04 17:03:13 UTC

Irish

2017-12-04 17:20:11 UTC

^^

2017-12-04 17:20:24 UTC

Was going to suggest German, but, you know

2017-12-04 17:21:52 UTC

We have Irish studies in the Pagan server.

2017-12-04 17:22:22 UTC
2017-12-04 18:23:37 UTC

Aye we have an Irish language section as well

2017-12-05 02:31:48 UTC

I ain't pagan but Irish seems like a fun language to learn

2017-12-05 23:31:38 UTC

Irish is like white people arabic

2017-12-05 23:42:34 UTC

Yeah it sounds pretty strange

2017-12-05 23:42:57 UTC

I can try doing some basic lessons here but Iโ€™m not quite sure how that would work

2017-12-06 02:30:51 UTC

@Havamal is there Greco Roman aspects of your paganism server?

2017-12-06 02:31:50 UTC

I lean closer to that than typical Germanic, Celtic, Norse etc

2017-12-06 05:46:15 UTC

@Kingfish No, we are focused on Germanic, Celtic, and Slavic (Baltic in the future, if requested).

2017-12-06 05:46:31 UTC

What is your heritage?

2017-12-06 05:54:21 UTC

Italian and Greek @Havamal

2017-12-06 05:57:13 UTC

I'm not sure if there is a server that covers those.

2017-12-06 05:57:30 UTC
2017-12-06 05:58:51 UTC

Ah thatโ€™s alright!

2017-12-06 05:58:52 UTC

There is quite a bit of literature mostly on the myths and legends of Roman/Greek paganism I have found very little on the actual practice of that form

2017-12-06 05:59:27 UTC

Yeah Iโ€™m not looking to directly practice the state cult practices but more discuss the nature of their spirituality etc

2017-12-06 05:59:32 UTC

I have a lot of literature on it

2017-12-06 05:59:38 UTC

Mostly myths and what not

2017-12-06 05:59:54 UTC

But if we donโ€™t have a southern euro/med server Iโ€™d be more than happy to start one

2017-12-06 06:00:40 UTC

The mythos is great centered heavily on honor myths = the saga of such a people

2017-12-06 06:00:50 UTC

Absolutely

2017-12-06 06:01:20 UTC

Just the works of Virgil and homer establish most of the core of who we are as a people

Seems like all native euro religions share much in common with each other despite being enemies at times

2017-12-06 06:04:56 UTC

They absolutely do. However the Norse Germanic and Celtic are closer than the Greco Roman ones, which is interesting because those same differences were maintained once both Northern and Southern Europe converted

2017-12-06 20:35:38 UTC

Yep

2017-12-10 16:34:19 UTC

Latin, or French would be good. Especially since French is the language of the OG Identitarians. Though of course I'd love Irish too (but it's quite difficult)

2017-12-10 16:35:57 UTC

Also @Kingfish If you start that Greco-Italian server invite me. I studied classics at university for a while.

2017-12-10 18:28:13 UTC

Yeah we can absolutely try to get one started. If you have any ideas DM me and I'll start up the server!

2017-12-10 18:31:44 UTC

You could also have a channel here if you don't feel like starting a whole new server

2017-12-10 18:44:53 UTC

Thanks man, I've got a server up that will work. Just have to designate roles and categorized channels I'll send a few invites for people to check out to see if they like it

2017-12-10 18:52:54 UTC

2017-12-10 19:05:52 UTC

>tf when you were there for the founding of Third Rome right here on discord

2017-12-10 19:06:59 UTC

From here on A.D. and C.E. are forbidden

2017-12-10 19:07:33 UTC

We are using Ab urbe condita

2017-12-10 19:07:42 UTC

a.u.

2017-12-10 19:08:43 UTC

Also we really should be infiltrating organizations that revolve around classical Europe and recruiting people

2017-12-10 20:23:55 UTC

@StrawberryArmada once weโ€™ve gathered our strength we will begin to conquer the Celt sever and the Gauls will be subjugated once more

2017-12-10 20:56:45 UTC

Heeyyyy

2017-12-10 20:56:52 UTC

That's my server

2017-12-10 21:39:15 UTC

I am admin for Germanic/Celtic/Nordic/Slavic Pagansim channel.

2017-12-10 23:38:16 UTC

I have a Celtic/Anglo-Celtic server

2017-12-11 03:56:24 UTC

2017-12-11 05:07:28 UTC

@Havamal oh is there another paganism discord you are apart of?

2017-12-11 15:16:45 UTC

It is the one I've had for over 6 months now.

2017-12-16 00:37:03 UTC

@JudenFrei#6240 how can I join this?

2017-12-16 02:13:41 UTC

I'll DM.

2017-12-17 16:43:21 UTC

Listening to the Iliad again. Damn thatโ€™s some fine prose son!

2017-12-17 16:48:22 UTC

2017-12-25 21:19:21 UTC

Was Carthage white?

2017-12-25 21:36:09 UTC

2017-12-25 21:36:20 UTC

#Hannibal was a med

2017-12-25 21:36:53 UTC

already had this argument about the Phoenicians with my idiotic thedonald tier friend

2017-12-25 21:39:20 UTC

Yeah the more I'm learning about history the more it seems the entireity of the Mediterranean basin was surrounded by white people until the Arabs went beserk

2017-12-27 15:04:31 UTC

Yes.

2018-01-20 01:40:12 UTC

That really depends on who you consider white

2018-01-20 01:41:31 UTC

North Africa has always had a large amount of Semitic speaking peoples

2018-01-20 01:42:04 UTC

People living in Anatolia spoke Indo European languages for a while

2018-01-20 01:42:23 UTC

But that doesn't automatically make them Europids of course

2018-01-20 01:45:52 UTC

Phoenicians are also Semitic speaking peoples

2018-01-20 01:46:02 UTC

Sorry

2018-01-20 01:46:04 UTC

Were

2018-01-20 01:46:25 UTC

Bro carnifex is a good band

2018-01-20 01:46:31 UTC

Egyptians, Berbers, Arabs, Jews are all linguistically related

2018-01-20 01:46:37 UTC

People keep saying that

2018-01-20 01:46:41 UTC

Tf is this band

2018-01-20 01:47:26 UTC

They're similar to whitechapel etc.

2018-01-20 01:47:38 UTC

Semitic peoples are also of course genetically similar. And naturally those close to southern Europe share genes with Europeans

2018-01-20 01:47:45 UTC

So like deathcore type?

2018-01-20 01:48:42 UTC

Yeah around there, they incorporate black metal elements frequently

2018-03-26 00:48:30 UTC

ok so im supposed to reference this in APSA:

2018-03-26 00:50:49 UTC

2014. "Chapter 2: Economic Policy.' In Congress and the Nation 2009-2012, Volume XIII: Politics and Policy in the 111th and 11th Congresses, e. Dave Tarr. Thousand Oaks, CA: CQ Press.

2018-03-26 00:51:35 UTC

how would i structure a parenthetical reference to this citation? i cant use author-date-page number since there is no author, so what should i use in place of author if anything?

2018-03-26 01:06:27 UTC

@Deleted User what exactly is the actual information youโ€™re citing? If it only has an editor that implies itโ€™s a kind of primary source then?

2018-03-26 01:25:59 UTC

it's an online book in a database

2018-03-26 19:29:28 UTC

Is the information youโ€™re using just from the book? Or is it from a primary source (like a document or law etc) edited and compiled within the book?
